Have a bite

All the maids that were eavesdropping and watching the scene in the dining room gasped with shock when Aldrin agreed to share the room with Eisha.

Most of the time, not even the head maid and Jadon we're allowed into Aldrin's room. It stunned them all to hear him agree to let the strange girl live in his room.

The head maid and Jadon turned to Eisha and gazed at her in awe. One thought ran through their mind, what sorcery she used on their boss to get him to change so much in a matter of hours.

Eisha raised her eyes to meet there, and she frowned. "Will that be a problem?" She inquired from them. Irritation is evident in her voice.

"No...th..there won't be a problem," the head maid spoke out and scurried out of the room.

Jason dropped his eyes to his plate and avoided looking into Eisha's eyes. Eisha sighed.

She turned her attention to the master of the house. Staring at him, her irritation faded away. There was something about him that made her feel better by just seeing him.

She had run into a lot of handsome men in her time, not quite as good-looking as Aldrin but they weren't that far behind. Yet they never affected her in any way. Either she saw them as food or didn't bother to take a second glance at them.

But with Aldrin, she took a second and third look however she found that she could glance at him forever. In her heart and her head, he was the only thought that occupied her.

Deep down she felt that he was the missing piece that would complete her. He made everything around him seem beautiful. Even the simplest act such as eating a meal seemed graceful when he did it. She couldn't help but stare.

Noticing her stare, Aldrin met and held her eyes. She didn't shy away and took on the tantalizing eyes that watched her.

Aldrin leans in, brushing his lips just beneath her ear. Electricity zips down Eisha's spine. Aldrin's eyes remained fixed on her, his mouth agape. Eisha felt heat rising in her cheeks. He made her nervous.

"Are you full?" He asked.

His broad shoulders, robust arms, and brawny build capture Eisha's attention. The thin material of his shirt barely kept him contained. Leaving nothing to the imagination, forcing Eisha to gulp.

"I can tell you are still hungry," Aldrin uttered noting her eating him with her eyes.

Her flight instincts kick in as she is about to run away from the overwhelming desire that was coursing through her. But something within her glues her to the spot.

Her heart skips and best as he chuckles. "Privacy," he lets out in an icy cold tone of voice.

Every eye that was watching scurried off. Jason excused himself from the room and walked to the garden with all the other workers. Everyone was excited and couldn't wait to talk more about what they saw.

Aldrin reached his hand before Eisha's lips, "Have a bite," Aldrin ushered her.

Eisha's eyes darkened with something more than desire. Thirst and lust-filled her vision. Her body yearned for more from him, his blood, and his body. She wanted all of him, in ways she never imagined she would ever feel for a person.

"You make my heart do things, I thought were meant for fairy tales," she confessed.

Looking into his beautiful eyes, she could see something dark behind them, the darkness that lay in his beauty. Yet she wasn't scared, encircling her fingers around his hand, she flashed him a smile.

Aldrin glanced at her, seeing the dark veins around her beautiful eyes, the two pairs of sharp fangs that glistened along with her white teeth. He found the sight of her beauty. The beauty in her darkness captured his eyes completely.

Eisha dug her fangs into his wrist, tasting the metallic flavor of his blood, she groaned in pure pleasure.

Aldrin was from the perfect paradise while she was from the darker side. But right from the moment that she met his eyes, something inside her came to life.

She had died a long time ago and has existed in the worst parts of the world, creating chaos and making a name for herself. For once she was afraid of being herself, scared of being the person she used to be.

Controlling the amount of blood she drank, she struggled to keep her urges in check. She craved for all the blood in his body, yet her heart couldn't stand that thought and hence it kept her in check.

She drank only a portion enough to keep her satiated. Aldrin arched his back leaning his head on the chair, his mind becoming of any thoughts. Leaving him to focus only on her, the girl sucking his blood.

He was too relieved to feel any pain. The flashes of the accident crisscrossed his mind, the haunting emotions he had from that day washing away from him. Fading as though they never existed in his heart. He glanced at the burning car and felt his feet able to move.

For a year his feet had been rooted to the spot, unable to turn away from there. He let out a sigh of relief and walked away from the scene inside his mind.

He stood from his seat careful not to interrupt her feed. He walked behind her and wrapped his other hand around their chest, holding her like she was his universe.

Eisha dug her fangs deeper into his hand. "Aah!" Aldrin moaned beside her ear. Eisha shivered.

"We should go shopping, you will need changing clothes," he suggested lost in the fevor of her sucking his blood and more of the emotional chains that we're tied around his heart.

Eisha let go of his hand and released him. She looked up at him, blood trickling down the corners of her lips. "That sounds like a lively suggestion," she uttered.

The trip would allow her to see more of the new world and help her to be more at home with the new era.
