"Excuse me," Shaman suddenly interjected, catching the attention of the trio.
Josh sensed something was amiss. Weren't Shaman and the other healers supposed to be tending to Ashley?
"There's something wrong; healing isn't working," Shaman declared.
Alarmed, Josh questioned, "What do you mean it's not working?"
Shaman explained, "There's something blocking it from working."
Anxiety gripped Josh as he hurried into the infirmary, reaching Ashley's side. There, he discovered peculiar symbols on Ashley's shoulder, extending away from the arm she had lost.
Dylan joined them, his expression darkening as he observed the symbols. "This isn't ordinary," he muttered. The trio exchanged worried glances, realizing that the situation was more complicated than they initially thought.
