Chapter 21

Hoseok's heart was beating fast, his hands shaking in anticipation for Aya's text. When his phone vibrated it slipped out of his hand on to his face with a thud.

He picked it back up rubbing his nose. He opened the message.

"I know we have only started to get to know each other and I don't want you to think I am a gold digger. But I am curious as to what you do for a living?"

He sighed, he knew it would have come sooner or later. How will he answer her question? He didn't want to tell her outright so maybe something similar to the truth?

He typed, deleted, typed, deleted and typed again.

"I don't think you are a gold digger, Aya. I am in the entertainment business. That is why I am not going to be here for a month."

He read the message again before pressing send. Okay, it is not too far from the truth.

"What exactly in the entertainment industry do you do?"

Hoseok's fingers froze, there was no fooling her. He bit his lip.

"I am the choreographer."

"I am sorry Aya, I have to go, I'll text you tomorrow."

"That sounds interesting. Alright, I am sorry to have kept you up. Good night Hoseok, sweet dreams."

"Sweet dreams Aya."

Hoseok placed his phone on the nightstand, he let out a breath. He won't be able to keep his secret any longer. He closed his eyes falling into a restless sleep.

Aya read the messages again, the message after he told her he was a choreographer looked a bit rushed. She shrugged her shoulders. It was late, and he was busy.

She opened her browser again, she went on with her job hunting, she applied to 3 agencies.

She really hoped that she would be able to find something, she really didn't want to let Hoseok think she was a gold digger.

She laid back against the pillows fast asleep.

Her alarm went off at 8 o'clock, she rolled on her side slapping it off the bedside. She got up, she didn't have a shift at the sanctuary, she went to put the kettle on. Her phone started ringing.

She answered. "Hello?"

"Good Morning, is this Aya Yang?"

"Yes, this is she."

"Wonderful, I am calling from Arc n Book store, we would like you to come for an interview."

She forgot to breathe, after a few seconds she forgot she should reply.

"Miss Yang?

" Yes! I am so sorry, what time would you like me to come?"

"Would 11 be a good time?"

"11 is perfect."

"Good, we look forward to meeting you."

"Thank you." She ended the call, she jumped up and down, it seems something is going according to plan for once.

"Hoseok!! I am sorry, I know you are busy but I have great news. I have an interview for a new job! Hope you have a wonderful day."

She smiled sending Hoseok the message, she sent a text to Carl too.

"Aya, I told you you'd find something."

She rolled her eyes, Carl seems to be born a prophet. She made herself breakfast.

Hoseok and the guys were already in the practice studio, he was so tired. He didn't sleep well, he had weird dreams. Many of them were Aya finding out he lied who he was.
