In a Galaxy, Far, Far Away on the Planet Lok in the Outer Rim. A young Feeorin awakens something that shall change the fate of himself and the Galaxy in ways one could never imagine—all thanks to a blue screen that only he can see.
Jial and the others escorted the Jedi back to their ships to ensure that none of them 'accidentally' wandered off to other locations. When all of their ships were in the air, Jial decided to give one last gesture of goodwill with one of his fingers before walking back to the training room.
'System. Use the Companion Summon.'
Jial decided to use the summon immediately unlike the other times that he had gotten them. His group was expanding rapidly and he needed others that could help him lead it. He knew that he couldn't keep relying on the Mandalorians. They would need to start expanding themselves in order to ensure the survival of their clan.
[Understood, Host. Companion Summon has been used.]
A bright light appeared before Jial before it quickly disappeared. What appeared before him was a Mandalorian. A Crusader to be exact.
The Crusaders were known as the second most violent of the Mandalorians and were when the Mandalorians were just beginning to spread out and take over various other planets and systems.
"Greetings, Sir. May I inquire what your name is?" the Mandalorian was unusually polite. Jial knew that he had used a standard Companion Summon so he was not expecting for him to be as loyal as the other 3 that he had summoned.
"Jial," the Feeorin told him his name while scanning him using the system
[Name: Antos Wyrick
Alias: Demagol
Species: Zeltron
Age: 42
Personality: Sociopath and Fanatic
Skills: Genetic Modification, Medical Skills, Mandalorian Combat, Manipulation
Loyalty: 1]
Jial read the name and nearly panicked. Just before he reached for his lightsaber, another blue screen appeared.
[Multiple Paths Detected
Path 1: Allow Antos to live
Rewards: 3x Custom Yautja Genetic Modification Serums, 100x Soldier Summon, 5 tons of Beskar
Consequences: Must ensure Antos's life for the next 5 years. Unable to imprison or harm him
Path 2: Kill Antos immediately
Rewards: 1x Premium Companion Summon and Custom Yautja Genetic Modification Serum Recipe
Consequences: Nott and Hash Genetic instability increases. Both will have 10 years left to live if genes are not stabilized]
Jial was going to immediately pick the second option until he read the consequences.
'Shit! What the fuck is this, System!' Jial screamed in his head. The System was asking him to risk both of his apprentices' lives. Even if he had the recipe, there was no guarantee that he could reproduce it. He didn't know what type of technology they would need or if they would be able to get the materials or what kind of dangers that recipe held.
But he did know what type of danger Antos was. He had read about him in the Telos Holocron. He was a famous Mandalorian Crusader who was obsessed with the Force as well as the left-hand of Mandalore the Ultimate, the one who led the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars that devastated the Galaxy and caused Revan to fall to the Dark Side. And Antos had a large part in that.
Whenever the Mandalorians captured Jedi, he would perform horrible experiments on them in order to try and understand the Force. He killed dozens of Jedi by cutting them open and taking them apart while they were forced to live through the surgeries and pain until they could no longer stand it. His Alias, Demagol, became the word that meant to cut apart or butcher.
When he finally did accomplish his goal of being able to generate Force-Sensitives for the Neo-Crusaders by experimenting on his own daughter first, he then created an army of force-sensitive children that could have brought an end to the Galaxy if not for the Jedi stopping him in time. But before they could, children were forced to fight each other in gladiator-style arenas for the entertainment of others.
[These are the paths that lay before you. You must choose one of the two or you shall be terminated.]
The System was making him choose between having an insane killer by his side that could attack him or his people whenever he pleased and Jial was unable to do a thing about or to risk the lives of his two apprentices.
"Fuck!" Jial yelled, no longer able to keep it inside of him. He unconsciously used the Dark Side and let out a Force Scream. And once he did, it was too late. Antos was standing too close and Jial's emotions were too powerful.
The wave of Dark Side energy managed to kill the Mandalorian instantly, forcing Jial into a path. It also alerted the Jedi who had just left as well as the twins who could feel the negative emotions coming off of Jial. Everyone began racing toward him while a blue screen appeared before Jial's face.
[Host choice confirmed. Rewards are placed in storage and inside of the Host's database. The Host has 5 years before the symptoms appear in the twins. In 7 years, they will be unable to leave their beds. During the last 3 years, they will be in agonizing pain day after day. This System suggests that the Host acts quickly]
The Mandalorians, companions, and twins rushed down the stairs to see the dead body in Crusader armor while the area around Jial was warped and twisted. The Feeorin was clearly enraged, something that none of them had seen before.
Jial saw them all appear, his eyes focusing on the twins.
'I took them in. They are my responsibility. No matter how many resources I have to expend, I will protect you both. I promise.'
Jial calmed himself down while pressing the buttons on his gauntlet pulling up the recipe that he needed. There were quite a few rare materials on it that would cost millions or were on dangerous worlds but Jial didn't care. He needed to get them in order to protect the twins.
"Boxe, take the Phantom, Sektor, and HK-47. I'm sending you a list of materials I need. I don't care whether you have to pay an exorbitant price, steal them, or kill for them," Jial gave her no room to say anything. "In fact, take a squad of Storm Troopers with you. Everyone is allowed to use a Laz-Gun."
"Zilvarth, Sidon, and Suxon. Contact the Trade Federation, Black Sun, and Hutts respectively. They may also have some of the supplies that I need. If they can deliver them, then we will pay however much we need, even if we need to use the Stygium."
"And what about us, Master?" Hash asked with Nott standing behind, not sure what to say. Neither had seen Jial in such a panicked state before. He was always calm and confident. "What's going on?"
Jial let out a breath. He couldn't hide what was going on from them. This was too major.
"Both of your genes are unstable from genetic experimentation that your species has gone through. We have to get these materials and lab equipment in order to make a cure for you," Jial told them honestly. "I have the recipe for the cure. I just don't know how long it will take for us to be ready with everything."
Some of the materials on the list were extremely rare. Some of them could only be come across by chance while others were carefully guarded. But no matter what, Jial was ready to declare war on the Galaxy for his apprentices.
'Fine, System. I- No, they will overcome this. They are stronger than you think,' Jial no saw that the System was not an unreliable ally. Instead, it was truly a neutral being that could become his ally or enemy at any time.
