'A Nine Star Bloodline'. A talent that can allow the person to reach the legendary Rank Nine Star Knight, A powerhouse at the peak of Star spirit continent. All the known Rank 9 Star Knights on the continent can be counted on hands.

Leonhardt's older son Levon Miller and the previous clan leader-Leonhardt's father were the only clan members to awaken a nine-star bloodline awakener in the past 100 years. Even though there were two nine-star bloodlines, his father was struck in the Rank 8 peak Star knight stage due to the dark wounds in his body.

His elder son is cultivated to be the next patriarch due to his talent. He is a an eighteen year old initial stage Rank 5 Star Knight. So he knows how terrifying a nine-star bloodline is.

He understands the importance of a nine-star blood line to the clan. But Max neither inherited his natal spirit nor his attributes. His natal spirit seemed to have evolved from his mother's natal spirit- 'dual daggers with thunder attribute'.

He could tell that those black moon blades very extraordinary from the killing aura emitting from them. He knew that his son's natal spirit was a grade if not higher than Desolate Lion Axe in quality.

The dense aura emitted from Max caused everyone to feel cold. The two boys gritted their teeth to prevent kneeling while the girl knelt down on the ground

"Take it back."

"Yes, Fathe... Patriarch."

Max took the blade back and glared at his father with his indifferent eyes. The three people took a sigh of relief and stood straightly but when they saw Max they still had fear in their eyes.

Kyle finally knew the cause of the current atmosphere in the hall. Max was the patriarch's youngest son who he did not introduce to the clan when he was born and was not given the status of the patriarch's son.

Leonhardt could not get himself to accept Max as his son. The moment he saw his face, Elora's face on the death bead come to his mind. Now although he awakened the highest bloodline of nine stars, he did not inherit his star power type after all.

"Elder Kyle, teach them how to cultivate and allow them to enter the second floor of Star skills pavilion and take two skills along with the Desolate Lion Star power cultivation technique."

Leonhardt threw three bronze colored tokens with a lion emblem on the front and asked them to leave.

Kyle saluted him and motioned the four to come with him.

Max looked at Leonhardt for a second and left without saying anything. Just now when Theon made a move against him, with Leonhardt's cultivation, judging from the pressure of his aura, Max could feel that he could have easily stopped the move but he did not. The little trace of affection due to the same blood, he had for his father vanished. And the reason why he did not fight back was that he is no match for 'brother'.

Max left with the other three under the bitter gaze of Theon.

Leonhardt watch them leave and closed his eyes and leaned on the chair pondering over something.

As the four people walked out of the building Kyle start teaching them.

"I will tell you about the Star power and teach you how to cultivate."

The four children listened to Kyle seriously. Even Max wanted to know about star power as the library only contained books about common sense, language and geography of the continent.

"Once a person awakens the star power rune, they can cultivate Star power so he can become a Star Knight.

Star Knights are divided into Combat Star Knight and Support Star Knights according to their attributes.

The basic attributes of Star power are:

'Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Gold, Earth, Light, Dark, Wood."

Lightning, Dark and Light are very rare among these attribute but that does not necessarily mean they are more powerful.

There are also some unknown attributes that are very powerful and some attributes are derived from the basic nine attributes like ice etc.

There are people with attribute less star power. These people who do not have attribute are almost all Support Star Knights .That does not indicate that all Support Star Knights have no attributes for their star power.

Most of the Support Star Knight have attribute-less star power, but some have attributes.

Some Support Star Knights have attributes like Wood, Water etc.

Support Star Knights are different from Combat Star Knights who have fighting power.

Although some Support Star Knights can cultivate Star Skills that are compatible with their natal spirit and attribute, they can only compete with Combat Star Knights of one rank lower than their star power rank. So even if they have combat Star Skills they only use them for self-defense.

The main job for a Support Star Knight is to support Combat Star Knights during their battle who in turn protect them.

The number of Support Star Knights are very less compared to Combat Star Knights. Also they are extremely sought for as they can enhance the combat strength.

The Star Skills that you cultivate should be compatible with your natal spirit. If it also matches your attributes then the strength of the skill increases correspondingly.

When you cultivated a Star Skill, it gets stored in your star rune. You have to activate your star rune to release the Star Skill. As you become more proficient in the Star skill, you can display them without flashing the rune."

'So there are Star Knights who cannot fight? And is my Space attribute among those unknown attributes?'

Max thought as he glanced at Hale who stepped back in fear when she noticed him looking at her.

"When you awakened your Star power, a Star Seed is formed in your body. You have to cultivate by absorbing Star power into the seed. Now I will teach you how to absorb star power to cultivate."

Kyle said as he signaled them to sit down in a meditation posture.

"Our Continent is surrounded by millions of gigantic and barren stars. Each person should select a suitable star from which they can absorb the star power to cultivate. Everyone cultivates from two stars in their path of cultivation. The stars on the orbit near to our continent are the ones suitable for cultivation for Star Knights below Rank 6 while the star on outermost orbit farthest to our continent are for the Star Knights from Rank 6 and above."

"Now concentrate your mind into the star seed and start communicating with the stars and find a star suitable for you. Remember once you find a star suitable and start absorbing the star power from the star, stop absorbing when you feel your limit. Otherwise your body will get heated up from over absorption and you might damage your foundation or become a cripple."

The three guys started concentrating. Max also started focusing on his Star Seed and started communicating with the stars nearer to the continent. As he started communicating with the stars one by one, he was surprised to see that no star responded to his call. No, to be precise his Star seed seemed to cut off the communication with him and the stars, preventing him from absorbing Star power from them.
