Chapter 6

Jiang Nan came to school and they were elated that they finally have their beast familiars with them now. Girls gang were discussing about their familiars while some of them were reading the booklet given by Jiang Chen without skipping a word. 

Gang Bo and others were in the class, the class was silently divided into 4 groups . Jiang Nan and her girl's gang, Jiang Feng's group who are silent and studying about the information. Gang Bo and people who have their familiars and People who have not contracted the familiars.

The morning classes happened as usual but when it was time for the afternoon practical beast session.

Su Lin could see the class was different this time. She could understand the different groups at a glance even though it was not that obvious.

Su Lin continued with her session as usual and she noticed there was suddenly more enthusiasm for the class from girls gang and Lin Nan was looking more relaxed compared to usual self. Just as the class was completed.

Gang Bo "Jiang Nan I challenge you for a battle."

Jiang Nan completely ignored the guy, his Blue wolf is is not strong enough to challenge her Elekid and being a water attribute beast, it has natural weakness against her elekid. According to what her brother told, if she doesn't control the strength properly she can kill it. They don't have protection mechanism like Pokemon.

Jiang Nan "Not interested, it would be an overkill." 

Gang Bo "You don't dare to battle me. Yesterday you were lucky, you caught me offguard."

Lin Yan "Gang Bo, it was you who attacked first, it was good that NanNan was strong and reacted quickly."

Gang Bo "Shut up, I didn't ask for your opinion."

Wang Mo "Brother Gang, I think she is trying to curry favour with Jiang Nan. Haha." one of Gang Bo's friend added.

Gang Bo "Lin Yan do you really believe that Jiang Nan's brother will help you get familiars. He is just bragging. He is also a looser, who couldn't contract a familiar."

Lin Yan "Shut up, don't say anything about brother Jiang, you don't deserve to say his name."

Wang Mo "What wrong did brother Gang say. Isn't it bragging to give beast for everyone"

Su Lin "What is happening here?" Su Lin asked as the issue is escalating.

Gang Bo "Teacher, Jiang Nan and Jiang Feng were bragging yesterday that they will give beasts to everyone." he intentionally exaggerated what they communicated.

Gang Bo got to know from someone that Jiang Nan is contracting her friends telling that her brother will help contracting a familiar.

Wang Mo "They were trying to deceive others."

Su Lin can understand they were exaggerating what happened but it would have happened to some extent.

Lin Yan "You shut up if you don't know anything. "

 Wang Mo "You believe that nonsense, do you really thin Jiang Nan's brother will buy you a beast if you become her lackey. They are just using you to showoff."

Su Lin was silent, she didn't expect such things from Jiang twins. They are well behaved in general. 

Lin Yan " You know nothing." saying that Lin Yan didn't waste any words and directly summoned her Ralts before everyone, Ralts appeared before everyone and greeted elegantly. 

Everyone was shocked seeing the scene. Lin Yan contracted the beast. So, Jiang Nan really helped Lin Yan contract a beast.

Wang Mo words got struck in his mouth as he don't know how to counter.

Gang Bo "So what Jiang Nan helped you contract a beast, didn't she brag about helping others."

Jiang Feng who was silent all along spoke "As far as I remember we never promised that we will give beasts to everyone, it was only for our friends. We did hold to our part."

Jiang Feng's friends were first to respond and trio of Riolu, Pidove and Sneasel appeared before everyone. Jiang Feng also summoned his Magby before everyone.

Girls gang was not to be left alone, They summoned their pokemon. 7 Eevees,Vulpix,Pidove and Poliwag appeared before everyone.

All the people in class were shocked seeing this new type of familiars. The two gangs ignored everyone and started to play with their pokemon.

Jiang Nan "Teacher Su, can you help us in practicing."

Su Lin came out of shock quickly and was helping Su Lin's gang . Boy's gang were referring to the books and practicing separately. No one observed the little bear among the boys crowd. 

Gang Bo and his gang were silent they were caught completely off guard. Other people who were not in either groups were jealous of both of them. 

Wang Mo was silence, decided to challenge Lin Yan. Lin Yan readily agreed for the challenge.

Every one in class were excited to see the battle between them.

Wang Mo summoned his familiar which is a Steel Armoured Ant which had high defense and low attack. 

Wang Mo "Use charge." The ant charged at Ralts fastly, but having a heavy armour it is very slow .

Lin Yan has anticipated such direct charge from Wang Mo, she was not in panic. She has already studied the efects of all moves of Ralts and their nature in her pokedex app.

Lin Yan "Ralts use Growl and double team."

Ralts recieving the command immediatly growled, which indeed has the desired effect and attack intention of Ant is reduced. Then when the double team came up. There were three ralts appearing simultaneously. Ant was confused on which Ralts to attack. It was struck on its tracks.

Wang Mo was also confused seeing three of them appear.

Lin Yan saw the opportunity "Disarming voice." 

Ralts used the disarming voice and it had an effect on the Ant. It struck it directly ignoring the armor. It was confused and scared and decided to escape. It escaped towards Wang Mo to hide from the battle.

It was another clean win for the pokemon.

Wang Mo was confused on what happened, how can attack bypass the armor of the ant , it is known for high defense.

Su Lin was surprised to see a type of psychic attack on Ant. she didn't expect Lin Yan's familiar to be capable of such attacks.

Su Lin "Wang Mo, retrieve your familiar, you lost. Lin Yan's familiar is capable of mental attacks. Your defense is of no use."

Lin Yan went to her friends giving Hi-fi for the victory.

Lin Yan "Jiang Nan you are right, it is no challenge." 

The gang started discussing about the battle, the boys were not that impressed. They have also studied the moves and discussed with each other. They have a understanding, at current stage pokemon are really superior to familiars.

Mo Chen "But psychic pokemon are really difficult to deal with." They have very peculiar attack means.

Su Lin was observing the boys gang and saw Mo Chen actively discussing with them. She felt it strange. But, she was completely shocked when she saw him retrieving the little bear when the class was over. She was shocked, she was sure that Mo Chen summoned a beast.

It has been a week since the gang have summoned their pokemon. For whole week nothing new happened but there were some undercurrent events.

Su Lin took taxi to a high end area.

Su Lin entered the Shangguan mansion .

Su Lin "Brother Mo, I have observed him for a week I am sure. He contracted a familiar." she told to a young man who invited her inside. 

His name Shangguan FengMo he is the young master of the Shangguan Family, they have very high influence in the province. Their family is the top existence in the city. Their geniuses spread all over the country in various influential position.

Shangguan Fengmo " So, do you think it is related to that shop."

Su Lin "I am not completely sure, but I think it is definitely related to them."

Shangguan Fengmo "Did you speak with that man?"

Su Lin "Yes, today I got to speak with him and he is really different. He is really giving familiars for free."

Su Lin "When I told him about the impact of his gifts. He readily agreed to provide for the students under the condition that I guarantee they will be properly taken care of. He looked completely genuine"

Shangguan Fengmo was utterly shocked hearing this "To the complete class?"

Su Lin "Not just class, he looked confident enough to supply for whole school."

Shangguan Fengmo "What about quality?"

Su Lin "As far I observed they are very strong, totally incomparable with the familiars I know of. Their physique, skills, character, obedience and abilities. They are very high."

Su Lin "He gave me a book let to distribute to the kids in my class, he told me he will conduct a test this Friday, he told he will give a beast to every one who score more than 90%."

Su Lin said as he passed the booklet to him.

Shangguan Fengmo "Is he really serious. All this booklet contains is how to take care of poekmon and their natures and all."

Su Lin "Yes, his intention always goes for taking proper care of pokemon."

Shangguan Fengmo "Hmm, thank you. " just as Su Lin was about to go, she heard another female voice.

"Su Lin, you have reached level 5 right?"

Su Lin was surprised hearing the voice, she know who the voice belong to. She is elder sister of Shangguan fengmo, Shangguan Ling'er, she is the eldest lady of Shangguan Family.

Su Lin "Yes, miss Shangguan?"

Shangguan Ling'er "I think today is good time to buy a familiar for yourself."

Su Lin was shocked hearing this. She understood her intention.

Shangguan Fengmo "Sister are you sure?"

Shangguan Ling'er "I this his intentions are clear. It is worth speaking to him."

Shangguan Ling'er "May be he can really help me." she said as there was a trace of regret in her face. 

Shangguan Fengmo can understand his sister's feeling. In the huge Shangguan Family, there were over 10000 members including the branch members. All of them have become beast masters, except for her sister. It was a huge regret that her Spirit value didn't meet the requirments. Their family tried many methods and did a huge research but they can't help her.
