Team Exercise III

The chimera tries to shake off Boa but is unable to due to its damaged hind leg so is stuck with twisting left and right to avoid getting slashed at the neck or to get deeper cuts as Boa intensified the ferocity of his attacks, Dean keeps watch as he tries to regain his stamina.

"If he takes on that beast alone and ends up beating it, I don't think I'd be able live down just how useless I was with this."

Dean shakes his head as he uses his staff to gets to his feet.

"I'm not giving up now."

Purely out of instinct both Dean and Sinatra attack simultaneously at the chimera's wings as they notice that it was trying to fly away from Boa's attacks.

"Boa!!!... Step back a bit will ya, you really want to make us feel completely useless huh."

Sinatra yells out getting Boa's attention and getting him to step back for just a minute, the sudden stop in attack causes the chimera to let it's guard down for a second which is enough time for Sinatra and Dean to destroy it's wings in one fell swoop of their respective weapons, the chimera let's out a horrific howl that echoed across the island.

"Boa finish this, now!!!"

Dean yells out.

"OK, OK, enough with the yelling."

Boa replies after which he spreads out his legs to get in stance while also setting his hands to form a ball in his hands.

"I need to make sure this counts…. Mōjū no bakufū(raging beast blast)."

A blue ball forms in Boa's hands and he promptly faces it towards the chimera letting out a wave of blue energy at the beast with massive force pushing the beast all the way back to its cave were it had emerged from and crashed into it causing a large cave in which crushed the beast that let out a load roar before finally succumbing to its death.

"That was a difficult one."

Sinatra remarks with a chuckle.

"Yeah it was… we should get what we came here for before other participants come over here."

Dean remarks as he walks towards the rubble.

"True, let's do that."

Boa nods in agreement as he follows Dean.

"There doesn't seem to be an end to this creature, what the hell is this??"

Mira is clearly frustrated as insect like creatures are attacking her team.

"Just keep going, the orb is in there."

Okoye yells as she smashes one of the insects into the ground with her feet using force.

"Don't tell me what to do you peasant."

Mira snarls with an annoyance on her voice.

"Forget about that now, we need to destroy the queen, if not we'll just keep going with no end… Mira aim for the queen."

Killian orders as he wards off the insects trying to sting him with his staff, swinging his staff around to take a couple of them down.

"Alright, clear a path for me."

Mira replies as she gets into position, Okoye nods her head like as though Mira had given the instruction to clear a path to her and immediately set out to do so with renewed vigor, she runs forward and began to smash the insects left and right causing damage to the earth when she landed blows.

"What the hell is she doing??"

Mira mutters to herself as she watches on at Okoye's onslaught on the insects attacking them, Killian noticed Okoye's attack and immediately stepped back to avoid getting hit by the shock waves.

"I have a mind to let her get hurt by the queen before unleashing my attack."

Mira remarks with a dirty smile.

"That would end up hurting our chances to get selected to join the D.O.D, for now we just have to tolerate and make do with her, her help can be very useful to us, let the attack loose the moment you see an opening."

Killian replied calmly.

"Alright then, whatever you say cap."

Mira said as she closed her legs and stood upright while also putting her right hand up and setting up two of her fingers and taking in a deep breath after which a bunch of mirrors appear in front of her to form a wall.

"Guys, I've cleared a path, let it loose now."

Okoye yells.

"Don't tell me what to do peasant….. Mirā Sakusei : Hansha Bīmu ( Mirror creation : Reflection beam)."

The mirror wall before Mira lights up and fires a concentrated beam towards the insect queen, Okoye manages to dodge it but is unable to avoid the explosion as the impact of the beam causes a massive explosion that blasts Okoye all the way back into a couple of trees and knocks her out cold with the insect queen getting destroyed as well.

"Took down two birds with one stone."

Mira remarks as she stares at Okoye unconscious a couple of meters from them.

"We should wait for her to get conscious, we'll grab the orb here and wait."

Killian replied as he directs Mira to go check on Okoye.
