Spirit Orbs : Chronicles of Ra'as

Check out my new novel, My Mech System, it's way better than everything else I've ever written, hehe. ********* A twist of fate or more like an unexpected turn of events send four individuals on a journey across the realms of Ra'as, a world of superpowers and extraordinary individuals. An adventure that will put them against powerful foes and will enable them uncover the secrets behind the real origins of their world is about to begin. Unknown to our protagonists though is the fact that the threat of war looms over the Planet Ra'as with several factions getting into a struggle for the possession of the omnipotent device known as the Spirit orbs. An epic tale of love and loss, pain and suffering, despair and revenge awaits all those willing to embark on this adventure with our protagonists. *********************** Voting for my novel with power stones is greatly welcomed. Please vote for my book. :) Also add the novel to your library if you are enjoying it. :) Thanks in advance. Currently on hiatus... :)

A 'minor' slip up

Yakob is seen standing at the island deck with a calm look on his face as he took in the scenery of the waters splashing before him.

Clark and Tara walk down slowly from one of the ships that had just newly arrived and docked at the Island deck with Pseudo agents staying on guard to inspect the merchandise available in each cargo.

Tara catches sight of Yakob and notifies Clark with both agents picking up the pace to meet with him. Yakob turns to see both agents before him with awkward looks on their faces.

"Both of you seem well, how are you??"

Yakob asks in a sombre tone.

"We are fine, Sir. thanks for asking."

Tara replies awkwardly with Clark scratching his head and expecting the worst.

"That's good to hear. Now can one of you please explain to me why Crow wasn't captured at Calos city and was even able to make it across the ocean to this island so as to nearly kill some of the participants?... And please no stupid answers, I am in no mood to joke around."

Yakob asks in a stern voice as bot agents gulped a few times.

"Sir we really do apologize for how we handled the case, we really had no idea that Crow had survived the explosion. It was an unfortunate miscalculation on our part."

Tara replied amidst the turbulence in her mind as she was quite worried as to how Yakob would punish them because even though Yakob was in their team, he was still ranked highly in the D.O.D and was supposed to be amongst the higher ups but decided not to as he didn't feel at ease with the position.

"So you mean to tell me that you didn't expect Crow to survive an explosion. You guys survived it, so why couldn't he?"

Yakob asks as he turns to face them.

"Sir I do apologize over the fact that we made such a rookie mistake which ended up putting the lives of the participants at stake, we are ready to receive any punishment you deem fit to met out to us."

Clark replies as he resigned himself to his fate.

"Tch…. There will be no need for any punishment but u do hope that you do not repeat such a mistake again, lives could have been lost."

Yakob remarks as he turns his back to them and motions for them to follow him.

"We won't disappoint next time."

Tara says with Yakob grunting rather loudly.

"Where are we headed anyways??"

Clark asks with interest.

"We are going to meet with Elder Jeroam."

Yakob replies with both agents stopping in their tracks and going wide eyed with surprise and excitement at meeting the man that was touted as the most powerful variant in the twelfth realm.

"Are you being serious, captain??"

Clark asks.

"Yeah, Jeroam needs some off the radar agents for an important mission so I recommended you two, hope you don't mess this up like the Crow case."

Yakob replies passively.

"Oh c'mon that was just a minor slip up."

Tara bemoans with a pout.

"a 'minor' slip up that nearly killed a couple of our participants??"

Yakob asks without actually expecting a response with both Clark and Tara calming their nerves as they saw that Yakob was sort of pissed and it certainly was not only just because they had messed up with the Crow case.

"Yo captain, is there something bothering you??"

Clark asks deciding not to let it slide by like they didn't notice.

"Other than the usual stuffs??... Not at all."

Yakob replies not wanting the agents to pry.

"It looks like something else is bothering you though."

Tara reinforces Clark's claim as she hoped to get an honest response.

"Don't worry about it, I'm OK. We should hurry up."

Yakob says changing the topic as the three individuals continued their walk in silence.
