Chapter 35: SL Rolling and Big Gains

[3rd POV] [Mount Justice]

It was annoying to explain, as Gwen had expected.

The League was...skeptical that the entire Injustice League fled. However, thanks to a bit of magic from Zatara, they were able to find out that both Vertigo and Black Adam did in fact flee.

As for the others, Zatara suspected that Wotan had covered there tracks. And with Raven also giving her an alibi, Gwen was basically in the clear, as long as she didn't do anything crazily suspicious, which she didn't.

Poison Ivy was...not very cooperative as she expected, but she was still being sent off to Gotham. Why Gotham? Gwen didn't know, but it was better than Belle reve where she'd just be sent out when the Light was in need of her.

The rest of her team had also covered for her unknowingly, making the cover even better. The only person on the League that had a chance of finding out the truth, would be her father or Zatara, and she doubted either of them would.

With the League pretty much satiated, the team eventually returned to the Mount, after a successful mission. Most of them returned home, while Gwen was in her room laying down, preparing herself for the SL rolls. M'gann was passed out in her own room tonight.

Seeing that she was completely in the clear, Gwen thought 'System, use all of those SL tickets'

'Alright, that's fine' Gwen thought with a shrug, she didn't mind having to assimilate 5 at a time, as it shouldn't take too long either way.

Bellatrix Lestrange, aka Voldemorts second in command, and his most trusted servant. A pureblood of the Harry Potter universe, and a death eater. She is a skilled dueler, and is skilled with curses, and the dark arts. She is one of the most skilled witches in the entirety of the Harry Potter universe, only below McGonagall and perhaps one or two others. Her magical power is quite impressive, not on Snape's level, but quite strong. Includes all her other helpful knowledge, including pure blood etiquette, and all other useful pieces of knowledge.

Ben Turner | Bronze Tiger | Prime Earth

Ben Turner, aka Bronze Tiger. He is one of the best martial artists in the entire world, roughly on par with Lady Shiva, but not on par with Batman, having had to cheat with Venom to beat the man in the past. Includes his masterful knowledge in martial arts, espionage, stealth, swordsmanship, and all other helpful pieces of knowledge. Also includes his ability to manipulate Chi to heal faster.

Natalia Romanova | Black Widow | Earth 616

Natalia Romanova, aka Black Widow. One of the deadliest spies/assassins in the entire Marvel universe, with immense skills in assassination, spying, martial arts, seduction, hacking, and more. Includes her artificially enhanced physiology that increases her strength to over 500 pounds. Also includes her enhanced durability, athletic speed, enhanced longevity, enhanced immune system, and all her other powers. Includes all her helpful knowledge, even the seduction knowledge.

Maya Lopez | Echo | Earth 616

Maya Lopez, aka Echo. A skilled martial artist with the same ability as Taskmaster, allowing her to perfectly mimic any physical movement or action after seeing it once, making her an incredibly skilled individual. Includes her masterful martial arts knowledge, expert marksmanship, masterful acrobatics, weapons proficiency, and everything else that's helpful/important.

Gabriel Gray | Sylar | Heroes Universe

Gabriel Gray, aka Sylar. An immensely skilled individual, almost entirely because of his power...intuitive aptitude. This ability allows him to understand how things work, and how to fix them. Allowing him to analyze systems and objects just from looking at them, due to it constantly being active. Systems that haven't been seen before requires more extensive study, but the rate at which he comprehends that system, is far beyond anything a normal person can do. This ability works on mechanical and biological systems. This ability may or may not work on technological systems, computer software, human behavior, medical problems and other such things. Due to the user having all their other powers, this does work. This ability can even be used to understand the complexities of cause and effect, and even the ability to understand the powers of others, and analyze them.

'...Hoooooly shit' Gwen thought, shooting up as she read the last character. 'That's...that's the best power I've gotten so far'

'With my knowledge, and that power...I can understand just about any system just from a single glance. I could break down and repair entire technological systems...just with a glance. This...this is easily the most overpowered ability I've gotten so far' Gwen thought with a deep breath, a wide grin forming on her face.

'With this...I no longer need to every worry about getting hacked, or any of my equipment breaking...because with a glance I will know' Gwen thought, her mind going at a million miles an hour as she began to think of the sheer amount of ways she could use this power.

'Combine this with my other powers...like my senses, from Karnak, from the Spiders...and I could go beyond anything Sylar ever imagined. The ability to understand cause and effect is neat enough, but not really needed when you already know how things will be going. This power...this will be my biggest trump card against future universes, and there's still 10 more!' Gwen thought, a laugh of happiness breaking out.

'System, go ahead and assimilate them' Gwen thought with a smirk.

As those words were thought, Gwen twitched in pain as memories slammed into her brain. Bellatrix's were quick and easy, albeit kinda useless, her magical power was good though. Bronze Tigers wasn't really useful due to her already having skill in all his martial arts, Black Widow and Echo were pretty much the same.

But Sylar? That was different...his knowledge was useful, his knowledge on the abilities of his universe, on how to work with the DNA of those individuals. She was able to compare them to metahumans and mutants, from the memories she already had. They were...similar, albeit different in nature.

But the part that caused all the pain, was the power. His power, intuitive aptitude was...monstrous. Her eyes burned in pain as she began to feel the change, she began to notice her surroundings more than ever before, she began to see what she couldn't before, and she began to understand how things worked more than before.

Her surroundings didn't have any super impressive mechanical systems, or technological, but the power...she could tell it would be useful for a long long long time.

As the pain ceased, a wide grin formed on her face 'This is even better than I thought. A bit disappointing that it's just his intuitive aptitude...but that's more than enough. Afterall, it's the most useful ability he ever had, and easily the most powerful'

'I doubt I'll get anything better than this...for a while' Gwen thought, gazing at her TV, being able to literally see how it worked, and with her memories, she knew exactly why.

'Truly amazing...his power had so much potential, so much use, and yet he squandered it' Gwen thought with a sigh of disappointment.

'Well, no use crying over spilled milk. System, go ahead and do the next 5'

Bane | Prime Universe

Bane, aka one of Batman's most dangerous villains, and a skilled individual. He is particularly skilled in escapology, able to escape from even the most fortified places, including Arkham Asylum, Black Gate, and even Pena Dura. Includes his skills in tactical analysis, his genius level intellect, polymath skills, and all other useful pieces of knowledge, such as martial arts, and even the ones he himself has created.

John Wick | Baba Yaga | John Wick Universe

John Wick, aka Baba Yaga, aka certified badass, aka dog lover, aka the boogeyman, aka the guy with way too many titles to count. One of the most dangerous and skilled individuals in his universe, with masterful skill in martial arts, assassination, marksmanship, stealth, tactics, and more. Includes all his helpful/important knowledge, in all areas that he was masterful in.

Norman Osborn | Green Goblin/Golden Goblin | Earth 616

Norman Osborn, aka Golden Goblin, aka used to be Green Goblin. At one point, he was Spidermans greetest rival and villain, and one of his most dangerous. The killer of Gwen Stacy of Earth 616, he was a dangerous villain, all because of his intelligence. Includes his Goblin Formula enhanced physiology, which includes superhuman strength, reflexes, speed, stamina, agility, durability, as well as a heightened regenerative factor. Also includes his impressive willpower, gifted intelligence, and his knowledge in the various sciences, marksmanship, combat, and all other helpful/important knowledge.

Minerva McGonagall | Harry Potter Universe

Minerva McGonagall, aka Dumbledore's right hand woman, aka Headmaster of Hogwarts. She is one of the most skilled individuals in Harry Potter, only behind a handful of people, and only Snape and a few others are on par with her. She is particularly skilled at transfiguration, one of the best, in fact, even being able to use it skillfully and easily in combat. Includes her helpful/important knowledge, the animagus transformation that will be your own new form, patronus, and more.

Yelena Belova | White Widow | Earth 616

Yelena Belova, aka White Widow. A skilled assassin and an individual that was trained in the red room to become a black widow. She does not have any powers, but in terms of martial arts, assassination, seduction, etc, she is roughly on par with Black Widow. Includes all her helpful/important knowledge, including martial arts, seduction, stealth, assassination, and everything else.

'Not remotely as good as the last five...but it could have been worse, I guess. Go ahead and assimilate them' Gwen thought, the only truly helpful one was McGonagall. The others weren't all that helpful. Although, John Wick was pretty cool, and Osborns knowledge and physical powers would be a neat addition.

The assimilation didn't take long this time, and there wasn't really any pain, besides the small burst of magical power, before it finished.

'Hmm, about what I was expecting. McGonagall's was easily the most useful, especially that transfiguration knowledge. System, go ahead and do the last five' Gwen thought, not really seeing anything else to look over.

Misery | Earth 616

Misery, aka the experiment of the Alchemax. This symbiote is incredibly special, and equally as powerful, due to it being the combination of the Carnage Symbiote, and the Anti-Venom symbiote. This includes Anti-Venom's healing touch, fire immunity, external symbiote rejection, superhuman strength of roughly 70 tons, danger sense, impurity sense, internal bodily cleansing, sonic immunity, and all other helpful/important powers from him. It also produces antibodies that can cure a person afflicted by radioactivity, parasites, diseases, and even drugs. This symbiote also has the powers of carnage, including his superhuman strength (which combined with Anti-venoms to come out to roughly 140-150 tons of strength, Carnages is 80 tons alone), superhuman durability, and all other powers of Carnage, except even stronger due to being combined with Anti-venom. This symbiote is even more malleable and regenerates even faster, due to it being a combination of the two symbiotes that would normally destroy one another.

Spiderman Noir | Peter Parker | Earth 90214

Spiderman Noir, aka Peter Parker of Earth 90214. This version of Peter Parker is a investigator reporter, with roughly the same powers as 616 Peter Parker. The only difference is that physically he is a bit weaker, but his speed, agility, and healing factor are stronger than 616 Peter's. Includes all his helpful/important knowledge.

Venom | Earth 616

Venom, aka THE symbiote. The one everyone knows and loves, and the father of Carnage. Includes his impressive physical strength, that has been augmented over the years, giving him strength roughly around 60-70 tons. Also includes his superhuman durability, stamina, healing factor, and all other natural powers from Venom. Including his body storage, offspring detection, symbiote assimilation, self sustenance, and more.

Shang Chi | Earth 616

Shang Chi, aka one of the best martial artists in the entirety of Marvel, only one or two others are comparable, one of which is the Iron Fist. He is skilled in a variety of martial arts, primarily chinese ones. He also has the ability to manipulate chi, using it to enhance his strength, durability, detect chi, disperse physical trauma (attacks) across his entire body instead of one point, and even warm himself up. His chi was strong enough to break through concrete, brick, and iron. He is also a skilled gymnast, marksman, has the ability to control his nervous system, locate pressure points on someones body, is skilled in fishing, and quite a few other areas. Includes all helpful/important knowledge, as well as his chi. Chi is basically the mystical form of bioelectricity that surrounds all forms of life. The users "Chi"/"Life Force" is far beyond any normal persons, making their strength in Chi massive, while not on the level of the Iron Fist (as he uses the heart of Shuo-Lao the Undying, aka a literal dragon), it is still far beyond any normal person, and even Shang-chi himself.

Bruce Wayne | Batman | Prime Universe

Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, aka the Dark Knight, aka one of the Original Street Level heroes. One of the greatest martial artists in the entirety of DC, only a handful comparable or more skilled than him. He is a master of MANY MANY areas, including: Investigation, Martial Arts, Stealth, Buisness Management, Tactical Analysis, Tracking, Chemistry, Criminology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Hacking, Driving, Hunting, and many many many more areas. Includes all of his masterful knowledge in his various areas, his immense intelligence as one of the smartest in all of DC. Includes all helpful/important knowledge.

'This...is my luck boosted because this is probably my last SL summons?' Gwen thought with wide eyes.

'Each of these are good, with Spiderman Noir being the least useful. But Venom, Misery, Shang Chi, AND Batman!? Just one of those would have been great, but all of them? While this still isn't as good as Sylar, this is still great. Especially the chi manipulation, and Misery's strength boost. Batman...is a little weird...considering he is my pops...but thankfully this is the comics version, and only gives me his helpful or important knowledge' Gwen thought with a cringe of disgust realizing she was going to be getting the knowledge of her dads mainline counterpart.

'Well...I'll get over it. System, go ahead and assimilate them' Gwen thought, sighing.

The assimilation this time was slightly harder than the previous bunch, only because she was assimilating two symbiotes. She could feel her current symbiote which was already a fusion of Carnage and Toxin, fuse with the two new fusions, strengthening it even more so. It lasted for a few moments, but after the pain ceased, she clenched her fist at the power slumbering within her now.

She grinned at the power within her, now enough to lift closer to 1000 tons than before. She wasn't sure exactly how strong she was, but she estimated it to be anywhere from 750 tons to 900 tons. But she wasn't entirely sure about that. That was without using chi to boost her strength, or by using the demon back that boosts her physical capabilities by roughly 5x. Had she gotten Yuujiro, it would be even higher.

She still wasn't sure what the hell the demon back even was, but she was farely sure it was demonic in nature. Connected to an oni or something of the sort. Because that sort of technique isn't something a normal person could just "make".

Seeing that her assimilation was over, Gwen sighed contentedly 'System, go ahead and show me my status'

'Neat' Gwen thought with a small smile, as she already knew what her status was going to look like. She just wanted to make sure it was correct. Which it was.

Seeing that everything that was good to go, Gwen leaned back with a yawn. She had been up for quite some time now, and while she couldn't really get tired, se still would very much like to go to sleep.

Slowly, her eyes fluttered close, as she allowed the warmth of sleep to overtake her.

That's the end of the chapter!

Sorry that most of it is just her getting new characters, BUT next chapter will be her own solo mission! One of them won't be covered (as it'll be some small bs one), while the latter one will cover more.

Due to this, it also means she will be evolving her system very very soon. I think Ima go with "Urban System" as that would be Building Level to Multi-City Block level. Town level (which some people wanted) would be a bit of a leap lol.

She's powerful, and if she went all out she could do a shit ton of damage, but not town level. Her strikes could do quite a bit, but again, a universe like Arrowverse would still be a bit much for her, as she isn't as strong, or fast as someone like Supergirl or the Flash from that universe.

Instead, there will be another system level after this one, which I'll dub as "Nuclear Level" Which is Small town level to Large Mountain Level. Trust me, Nuclear level is also far too much for the next universe on top of that.

The universe after that will also be too weak for Nuclear level. So Nuclear level will probably come after that universe, as that will be voted on by y'all.

Trust in the process lol. Otherwise, she'd be even more OP than she already is, to a level that's hard to write. Right now, she's simply OP in martial arts, regeneration, intelligence, knowledge, and has senses. In terms of strength, she isn't even on the level of Superman in Young Justice, or even Superboy, who is roughly as strong as Superman when at his peak (in Young Justice). Safe to say, she still has a LONG way to go.

I plan on this fic to last 200-300 chapters. As once she gets to a certain system level, she'll become truly insane (as in stronger than Talia or Lucifer insane). But that's a ways a way.

Also, give me some ideas for characters to add to my wheel! Remember, they have to be between Building level and Multi-city block level. I've already got Tokita Ohma, A certain father of Baki, Yoriichi, several ATLA characters, Eijiro from MHA, Hope and Dahlia from TVD, Albus, Voldemort, and Gellert from Harry Potter, and a couple of others.
