Copyright disclaimer: I do not own Spider-man nor any character or works featured in this fan-fiction. All rights belong to its rightful owners, Marvel Comics, and Studios. No copyright infringement intended. ******************************************* (Longer Synopsis) Peter Parker has lost it all, his home, his aunt, and his friends. All he has left is his duty to the city, his presence keeping crime at bay. A few months after the battle of New York, Peter gets by living on the streets. His only friend a red haired woman named Natasha. With people from his past turning up, new Super Heroes appearing everywhere and mutants on the rise, will his life continue to spiral out of control? Or will something turn him around and make him the man he always was? ******************************************* I’m writing this novel for fun so there is no release schedule. All chapters will fluctuate in length depending on many factors. I am writing an original for my main story and this is just a side project so there is no overarching plot going forwards just an imagination of the marvel landscape with different changes. This novel will follow the MCU timeline with changes such as the introduction of greater marvel characters and groups, fluctuation in ages, and comic alterations. I hope you enjoy this re-imagining. The idea for this novel is directly inspired from me reading ‘When The Spider Falls’ over on fanfiction.net. Please go over and give that novel some love if you like where my novel is heading. I don’t read comics too much so any ideas or extra information would be nice. (Because people keep asking. Yes this is a Harem)

Hang ups and Shawarma?

"Ok enough, Enough!"

Having been shaken for the last minute straight peter couldn't take it anymore, sticking his feet to the ground he slapped his own arms onto Tony's shoulder.

"I'll tell, I'll tell!"

The words finally got Tony to calm down as a small smile came to his face, he learnt that little trick to get information back when he was 4 years old, he hadn't had to use it in a long time, but still worked like a charm.

Everyone slowly gave Spider-Man there attention as he took a deep breath and looked Tony in the eye, though they couldn't see it, they knew his face was stone cold serious. Tony himself also put his concentration forth, wanting to know what gaps in his security and firewall were used, he could think of none.

Of course the next words out of Peter's mouth instantly froze his mind and caused a sweat to break out on his back, if he could think just a bit more he might have noticed the shiver that went down his spine.

"Look, 'FantasyThreeSumNatandPep', while a pretty good password for your servers, you should have at least put some numbers or an exclamation point in there." The mood instantly cooled at his words.

"What? No…that's not…wait…" Before Tony's mind could reboot Spider-Man, as if a shadow, slipped from in front of him and disappeared to the side and in his place another spider appeared, specifically a Black Widow.

Tony's heart rate sped back up as he slowly started to back away, noticing the upgraded widow bites of Natasha's starting to light up. "N-n-natasha he's lying that isn't…" He's words fell on deaf ears and were also cut off as Jarvis spoke in his ear. "Sir, suit override engaged, emergency ejection initiated."

"What no!" Without warning the current suit Tony was wearing, and his only protection, slowly opened up showing the billionaires terrified eyes as Natasha got closer. Once again before Tony could do anything, the suit disengaged from his back and drifted backwards closing back up, before rocketing away back to avengers tower. Tony stared at the suit in betrayal before his survival instincts kicked in and he once again turned to the greater threat closing in. Without his suit he was only left in the clothes he wore as well as a small communicator in his ear.

To the side Clint had already slung his arm over Peter's shoulder as the both tried to restrain their laughter, the rest were also in various forms of redress trying to hold in the laughter.

'At least this can't get any worse …'

Those were Tony's honest thoughts as he stared down the deadliest woman on the planet, but Tony was wrong on both accounts as Jarvis spoke in his ear once again, what he didn't know was everyone else on the team could also hear them.

"Sir incoming call from, Pepper Potts." His face turned pale. "Anthony! Edward! Stark! What Email did I just receive about our company's server password?!"

"Pep! No! It's not real! It's a joke! My god, it's a joke!!!" Everyone could tell from her voice she was not impressed with the excuse as her voice came out cold. "Then why did it give me unrestricted access to all Stark files and security when I tried it just a minute ago?

Tony was at a loss for words. Not hearing a reply all could hear the small huff she let out before no doubt getting back to more important work, leaving only a clipped remark. "We'll be talking about this when you get back to the tower."

The small sound of a click signaled the end of the call. Tony was gob smacked as his head turned in terror towards Spider-Man who was already on the ground rolling in laughter. The only word he was able to get out before the pain started was… "How?"

His screams of pain resounded in the empty mall.

***************

Peter gave Clint a look as he started to dig into his meal. "So you guys bought the whole Shawarma joint because you liked it so much after the battle of New York?" Clint took a second to swallow before replying, relaxing back into his chair.

No one else was in the place, it having been cleared out in the 20 minutes it took for the Avengers to arrive. The patrons didn't mind though already knowing the place was owned by the avengers, though it wasn't a common occurrence, it did happen every now and then that the place had to be emptied when the Avengers arrived.

Though that didn't used to be the case, after the first few times they arrived, it was a new policy that had been put into place. Crystal had also informed Peter on the way that Tony had invested a lot of money into the building to make it secure and protected, as well as protecting the family that still run the place and cooked the food.

Who knew what trouble they could run into, being a food joint that catered to the world famous Avengers, that also had quite a few enemies such as Hydra. The small thought from the billionaire had put a smile on his face.

Said billionaire had a thousand yard stare as he sat at the table, though there was no physical injury on his body anyone could tell he had been through an ordeal, seeing as Natasha had dragged him off into one of the destroyed stores for a good 10 minutes, the only sound that escaped being the screams of terror from his person. No one wanted to ask exactly what she had done to him in there.

Both Jean and Rogue had decided not to tag along, even though they wanted to, they didn't want all the publicity that would come when they were pictured going into the place with the World famous Avengers.

With them gone the only ones left were the roster of the original Avengers, Felcia, Laura as well as Peter himself. He hadn't taken his mask off, quite enjoying the new feature of the Nano-bot suit which silently retracted so he could eat, instead of him having to pull it up.

He caught the barest twitch of an eye from Tony when said mask retracted and the Nano-bots made their way back to his necklace.

"Yeah, it's a nice place to relax after Tony installed all his toys." The archer shot him a look at the words, but still got no reply, after the practical joke, Tony hadn't said much, though Clint had been trying to get him to talk with his usual snark.

Felicia had set back into her old roll of introducing everyone while also flirting with him, something she had mastered a long time ago from their many encounters, this did get a few raised eyebrows from Cap, Clint and also Natasha but they shrugged it off as her natural personality with those close to her, seeing as they had known each other for years.

The one that was acting weird was Laura, she had a contemplative look as she stared between Felecia and Spider-Man, if anyone was actually paying attention at that second they would have noticed the small twitch of her nose as she gained an understanding in her eyes.

After a few seconds she said nothing and started to eat, never having had Shawarma before. It was only after everyone had finished digging in and shooting the shit as some would call it, Peter and Clint getting along really well, that Steve cleared his throat and sent a meaningful look at everyone else.

"I think I speak for all those here when I say thank you for your help in the mall Spider-Man, without you there I think there would have been a lot more damage before we could have taken them down."

Peter turned to look at the star spangled man and could see the sincerity in his eyes. Having his mask reform he gave a solid nod of understanding before he replied. "No need Cap, any other hero would have done the same, plus I've faced them thousands of times I know how to take them down quick, only reason it was so easy."

Clint gave a laugh as he slapped him on the back. "He's humble to. I like him." The rest also sported a smile before Steve continued. "I don't think anyone would object if I officially invite you to join the Avengers, I don't know what threats we'll face in the future, but I know we'll need you on the team."

Though the others were a bit surprised at the sudden offer no one said anything, Felicia was completely on board, knowing exactly who was under the mask, while the others all knew what a hero Spider-man already was.

Even Tony who had just gone through quite the experience wouldn't object to having him join their roster, if at the same time he spoke about the technology of his suit, who was he to stop him. So it came as a surprise that after only a few short seconds Peter Replied with.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to decline." Peter himself only had to think about it for those few seconds before coming to his decision. Sure he had done quite a few team ups before as a solo hero and a well know one, but joining a team was completely different.

Joining a team meant going on missions with them and all that jazz and that was the crux of the problem, sure Peter had gone on a few global outings before, especially on his school trips, but he was still the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, resident of New York.

He wasn't sure where the Avengers would be off to first, but most of their missions would likely take them all over the planet. A short trip was fine, but there was still crime in his city that needed to be dealt with.

There was also the whole deal with telling them who he was. He knew them, they were close, or closer than anyone else at this point…but… he just didn't want to deal with that and what it usually entailed…

Though a bit shocked at the denial, Steve didn't say anymore and gave a firm nod back, understanding after a short while why he had been rejected. Clint who had just found a new best mate in Spider-Man was a bit dejected but said nothing as well.

The most disappointed had to have been Felicia, her face almost completely lit up at the offer, though not for the reason most would have expected. Though some might doubt it with her athletic record she was quite smart, having Peter join the team would have been the best for everyone, more importantly himself.

Joining the team didn't just mean he would go on missions together, he would also have to reveal his identity, and that would….well Peter needed to tell people, but he refused and it wasn't her place to tell others…but…it wasn't healthy, he needed to move on from his past hangups with it…

Trying not to draw attention, she gave a small sigh, though a pair of dark eyes quickly flicked to her position before moving back.

"But when you need me and…you'll probably need me at some point, just call. I may be pretty attached to my neighborhood, but sometimes I go global." Giving a small smile and heading towards the exit, Clint quirked an eyebrow. "We have your number?"

A mischievous smile came to Peters lips as he pointed back at the billionaire. "Don't worry he has it on speed dial."

"What no I don't…. ohh you son of a…" But whatever else he was going to say was lost to the wind as Peter quickly bolted out of the shop and pulled himself up to the nearest rooftop, quickly heading towards Avengers tower for some rest. He was dead tired.

Though he didn't hear what Tony said at the end, he had an idea of what it might have been. Crystals laugh as she watched the play back of Tony checking his phone after they left brought an even bigger smile.

Yes sorry to disappoint the people that wanted a big reveal about his identity it's not happening yet. The plan has always been for the face reveal to happen at the end of Ultron, so technically not that long to go.

About i would say 3 chapter at most before the start of Ultron, this is middeling stuff that i have to get out of the way before that starts and won't lie is very draining to write.

Yes, some of you guys might have noticed that peter has a few problems after having lost all those he loves and cares about, yes this means he has a bit of a hang up about the number of people that know he's real identity. Or that's what i'm going with. Everyone that does know seems to have died except Felicia.

Other than that, don't really expect the next chapter to be out soon, i just don;t really write anymore, sorry about that.

Anyways, i do hope you enjoyed the chapter, i don't think it was my best work, but wasn't bad.

Zevren out.
