Baxter Building, Spider-Man Lab.

Peter Parker.

"Delia? It's beautiful. I like it, Carrier."

- Yeah, me too, but either way, I think she should make her own decision.

I'm typing a command into the machine's keypad.

While the solution drains, I grab one of my lab coats, for lack of other clothes nearby. Maybe I should have asked Sue for something. I don't want the blonde girl thinking the wrong thing about me, though.

When the solution is completely drained, the clone is left hanging from the support straps.

A couple of dozen seconds pass and my female counterpart begins to open her eyes.

- Hello, - I waved my hand a little, so as not to scare her.

The girl clearly wants to answer, but the mask prevents her from doing so.

- Do you mind? - I slightly reach out my hand to remove the oxygen-supplying muzzle, which has lost its importance.

The brown-haired girl waits calmly, looking at me with her big brown eyes.

As soon as I intercept her gaze, Spidey Sense seems to explode, resonating.

I grab my head, and judging by the clone's reaction, the same thing happened to her Spider Sense. I managed to hold back a scream, but if the girl hadn't been wearing a mask, the lab would have been flooded with FFFs. Maybe the soundproofing's good, though. Haven't had to test it yet.

- Well, that was pretty funny," I look at the brown-haired girl with a slight smile.

She's watching me a little warily.

- You know, let's start again," I approach her calmly and carefully hand the dressing gown to the brown-haired girl.

She accepts it. A little startled, but she accepts it.

- Do you know your name? - I ask a question after the brown-eyed girl gets rid of the notorious muzzle.

- I," she begins a little stiffly, "I like to say my name is Peter Parker.

The way she says it, in a thin voice and a little languidly, makes me chuckle uncontrollably.

- Yeah, if I had a voice like that, it'd be a lot of fun," I commented in my own way, "No offence," I added, noticing her slightly stifled look. - Let me explain, you can't be Peter Parker, if only because of those rather nice halos and the one below the waist," the girl begins to examine herself.

- Yeah, apparently I'm a female species, but then why do I think of myself as a guy? Also," she blushes slightly, "these memories.

I'll save the female comment for later.

- Memories?

- I clearly remember having sex with Mary Jane and of our encounter with Black Cat in her hotel room, where Felicia touched my...

- I get it, don't go on," I put my hand out.

Looks like this is gonna be harder than I thought.

- Look, Peter Parker is me, I mean the original, and you, - I sigh a little, - try to take it easy, okay?

The brown-haired girl just nods confusedly.

- You are my clone created by Professor Miles Warren from my DNA.

There is a deafening silence in the room for a while.

- A clone? - is all the brown-eyed girl asks after a certain amount of time.

- I realise it's shocking, but try...

- I believe you, - the girl stoically looks me in the eyes and says.

- Stop. Really?

- Well, the facts are pretty obvious, - the interlocutor raises her chest with a clear hint, - and, to be honest, Spider Sense and all instincts say that you can be trusted.

- That makes it a lot easier.

Suddenly the girl grabs her head.

- Is everything okay?! - I come closer and grab her by the shoulders.

- Y-yeah, just a memory," she pulls back a little and tries to come to her senses.

Warren was a genius geneticist and a true master of cloning. I'm sure he could compete with that enemy of the X's in the matter of reproducing human copies. One recreation of the personality matrix and memories from a single blood sample is worth it. I wish I knew how he did it.

I'd have to find out how he did it.

"Hey, Raj, did you get his memories when you absorbed the Jackal?"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Bearer. All of the Professor's memories died with him. Perhaps I could have gained something if I'd started absorbing the brain in the first place, but you didn't insist, so I only ended up with them."

"Well, okay. Didn't feel much like starting to stamp clones myself."

While talking to the symbiote, my female counterpart rises to her feet and silently, surveys the lab.

- We're in a building that belongs to the Fantastic Four. In my personal lab, we are safe here.

- I see.

A brief awkward silence ensues.

The brown-haired girl looks around modestly, and I realise I'm not comfortable calling her a clone, a copy, and so on.

- Listen, you could use a name.

- A name? - the girl comes back from her reverie.

- Yeah, well, I can't really call you by your own name.

- All right," she nodded calmly.

- I've been thinking about it, how about Delia? Delia Parker, sounds good to me.

- P-Parker? - she said, sweetly embarrassed. - I-I thought the situation disgusted you, Progenitor.

- No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no," I put my hand up. - No progenitor or creator or anything. Just Peter.

- But I," I turn to the other clones, "we're made from your DNA.

- Right, but I'm a donor, and I don't even want to think about your creator," I pressed my lips together. - Tell me, what do you think of the name? If you don't like it, you can choose any other name.

- Actually, I like it, it's just a little unusual. Why not Jessica? - The brown-eyed girl asks with a waggle of her eyebrows.

- There are a lot of Jessicas, but you're special," I couldn't admit that I'd always wanted a little sister with that name, could I?

The newfound Parker only blushed and embarrassed.

Women are always the same, love with their ears.

- You're very cute when you blush, that's a nice compliment.

- S-thank you.

Suddenly, the air began to smell of something spicy, and the odour seemed to fill the surrounding space. Whatever it was, Delia's pupils dilated greatly and I felt a very strong sexual desire directed in her direction.

Unlike me, the girl didn't hold back and, instantly crossing the distance between us, kissed my lips.

As soon as I felt her tongue in my mouth, my mind sank even further into a kind of haze.

"Bearer, something is affecting your system!" - comes the voice of the symbiote in my head.

Only Raj's shouting allows me to regain some control over myself.

- Delia, stop," I push the brown-haired girl away from me with a devilish effort.

- Don't you feel the attraction? - smiling cheekily, the girl held her palm out, stroking my cock, bulging under the suit.

- 'I do,' I intercept her hand, 'and it's not normal.

"Raj, can you tell me what it is?"

"I'm assuming some kind of pheromones."

"Pheromones?"

"I noticed a distinct change in your body's response: increased heart rate, increased temperature. Perhaps the contact happened through your olfactory receptors, since there's no direct access to your skin."

"Yes, apparently so."

I bounce off my sissy on the ceiling and crawl to the other end of the lab. It's getting noticeably easier to breathe.

- Um, Peter," Delia seemed to be letting go as well, "I don't know what came over me, I'm sorry, please," guilt and shame were clear in her tone.

I'm jumping down.

- It's nothing, but it looks like I'm going to need some more research. There's no telling what the Jackal did to you.

Delia nods meekly and walks over to the nearest chair, looking guiltily at the floor.

I sit down next to her and lift the brown-haired girl up by the chin, looking into her big brown eyes.

- Hey, why the long face, sister?

My address clearly threw her off balance.

- Sis-sis? - I was genuinely surprised to hear you say that.

- Who else would you be but my genetic sister? - Parker's signature Parker smile.

- You've gotten used to some pretty mind-boggling events in your time, haven't you?

- Getting spider powers. Meeting an alien from outer space. Working for a global spy organisation. Talking about the future with your own, mad scientist cloned, female version? My typical Tuesday.

A little joke lightens the atmosphere and the girl laughs.

- Well, we certainly have the same sense of humour," Shaten smiles.

I unpack syringes and coverslips for blood tests.

While I'm collecting samples, I decide to discuss a pressing issue with the girl.

- Do you think your....our brothers will react to the awakening as calmly?

- Honestly, it's a difficult question, - shatenka slightly bit her lip, - guys in general by virtue of their temperament more violent, so everything can be.

- In principle, I agree. Before they wake up, we need to prepare.

- Prepare?

- First of all, to take care of your appearance in the world. Of course, we have all sorts of things, but people don't suddenly appear out of thin air. As a rule.

- Have you thought of something yet?

- I'll talk it over with Aunt May and the girls first. We'll think of you as Uncle Ben's side of the family or something. Someone, maybe, from May's side. Then we need to create fake IDs for you, hack into a couple of databases, plant information, that should be enough to get you started. Basically, it's no big deal.

- So I'm gonna have to stick around? - the brown-haired girl asks with slight distaste.

- You see, sister, - I smile a little. - It's a temporary measure.

- Yes, I understand," the twin nodded.

- Good. If someone comes in before I get back, hide them," I nodded at the flasks, "and jump on the ceiling yourself.

- You don't think anyone's going to look up, do you? - Parker arches an eyebrow.

- Just improvise," I walk towards the exit of the lab.

*

Forty minutes later.

In the sky over New York.

Before we talk, we should worry about moving my copies safely. How do we do that? That's right, prepare the clones' suits.

"Carrier, are you sure this is a good idea?"

"There is no other, Raj."

"I'll rephrase. Is it worth going to your aunt's house and breaking into the basement at four o'clock in the morning?"

"There's some materials and costume fabrics saved there, for a rainy day. Don't worry, I'll be quiet as a spider."

"Whatever you say."

I fly over the Washington Bridge and make my way across the rooftops to the alley where I most often leave Queens.

I slide down the wall and disguise my costume.

It takes fifteen minutes to get to Auntie's house. I go to the basement.

I unlock the door and go downstairs.

I switch on the light and kneel down in front of a barn-locked chest.

I open it and pull out some fabrics.

- Time to put my talents to work.

Also time.

Asgard.

Odin's son, Crown Prince Thor Odinson, entered the throne room. He was returning from a battle against the rebellious trolls in Vanaheim. Behind the Thunder God was his loyal retinue, the Battle Brotherhood, they were also being saluted, but the true pride of the Aesir today was undoubtedly the Prince.

Thor spread his arms out to the side, smiling a wide smile and responding to the shouts of joy and admiration with true fervour. On his head, his helmet with wings glistened proudly, shining with silver. Behind his back fluttered a cloak of scarlet satin. In his hands was the prince's trusty weapon, the hammer Mjolnir, forged by the dwarves of Nidavellir from the strongest ore of the nine kingdoms, Uru.

But that was not the only thing remarkable about this weapon. Centuries ago, King Odin of Asgard, the first of the Asgardian Ases, had wielded the hammer himself and cast a spell of his own composition on it, since then the weapon had become semi-intelligent and determined who could wield it. The main condition was that the ruler of Mjolnir must be honourable.

But who determines what it means to be worthy? Is it Odin's charms, based on his opinion, or maybe the hammer itself? To this day, that remains unknown.

Thor rejoiced and walked proudly to the foot of his father's throne, who, from the article of a true king, sat on his throne and held in his hand what could only appear to be a symbol of royalty: a staff. But everyone knew that in the King's hands was the Gungnir spear, one of the most powerful weapons of the realm and a symbol of power over Asgard.

Odinson approached the throne and went down on one knee in reverence.

- I see you have brought another victory to our kingdom, my son? - The Allfather spoke in a pleased and slightly warm tone.

Thor only raised his head and smiled broadly.

- I am glad to fight for our house, father, and bring true glory to Asgard!

In response to the prince's remarks, a chorus of voices erupted, cheering what Odinson had said.

- Excellent, my son, let us feast in honour!

The chorus of dozens of joyous voices repeated.

Only one of those in the audience was not rejoicing.

- Why are you so glum, Loki?

The Prince of Lies turned round.

- 'Mother,' the brunet bowed his head slightly to the Queen of Asgard.

Frigga held herself with true royal majesty and article. The wife harmonised perfectly with her husband.

- I know when my sons are upset, - Frigga turned Loki's face towards her with a trepidation peculiar only to a mother, - so what troubles you, my son?

Loki was known in Asgard as the Prince of Lies, the God of Deceit. Ever since he was a child, he had annoyed the whole of Asgard with his mischief, and not only. He pretended, he lied, he was able to fool everyone. But not her. Loki could not deceive his mother, unless Frigga allowed it.

And she knew it well.

The youngest prince of Asgard sighed.

- Thor," the brunet sighed, "I don't understand mother, why exactly did his father choose him to be crown prince?

Loki looked at his mother with a true resentment that lodged deep in his heart.

Frigga sighed heavily and only a slight flutter of her tense eyelashes and tight lips betrayed her true state of mind.

- Understand, son, your brother is older and....

- It doesn't matter! We're both 1,500 years old, but Thor's mind is still the same stupid four-hundred-year-old boy!

- Loki, everyone has a destiny, and it is Thor's destiny to rule Asgard in the future. Power is not always a privilege, my son, more often than not, it is a burden. And do you really want to take the reigns of Asgard upon yourself?

The God of Deception has turned his back.

- Or are you so hungry for the recognition of the Asgardians, son?

To this Loki was unable to answer. He stepped away from his mother in silence, and a plan to get rid of his brother began to form in his mind.
