CHAPTER LIX
Dracula's blue glowing eyes turn black and tears drop under them.
They turn blood red and he shoots a vicious glare at the sphinxes.
Samuel and Gabriel ready themselves for the fight of their lives.
Dracula hisses as he charges at them.
They beat each other with kicks and punches.
Dracula overpowers them as their numbers bear no advantage.
He smacks and kicks them around.
Dracula lifts Gabriel and smashes him into the bar.
He smacks the two sides of Samuel's face and punches his throat.
He bites Samuel's neck and punches his face.
The sphinx struggles to walk as Dracula beats him around the dance floor.
Gabriel tries to restrain him from behind but he turns into a cauldron of bats.
He materializes behind Gabriel and uses sharp talons to dig into his side.
Gabriel groans as Dracula tears his flesh and blood stains his vest.
Dracula lifts him up and slams him against the ground.
He kicks his belly and stomps on him severely until Samuel smashes a bottle against his head.
Samuel carries him and plants on the ground.
The two begin to struggle on the floor, testing each other's wrestling ability.
Dracula gets the upper hand and locks Samuel's hand in an arm bar.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Samuel laments as he struggles to save his arm.
Gabriel drives his elbow into Dracula's chest and breaks his hold.
The twins hold him to the ground and begin to punch his face.
He grunts and smacks their heads together.
Dracula pushes them off and stands on his feet.
He pulls his Hugo suit and throws it on the floor.
He removes his shirt and his pale skin hardens as he begins to grow in size.
His muscles thicken and expand as he grows to 8feet.
His black talons are wet with Gabriel's blood.
In a whisper, he appears before them and begins to beat them with his hard fists.
Gabriel and Samuel tire of their father's galore of beatings and hold his hands firmly.
They roar into his face and push him back.
They fight back and slowly reveal their fur and horns.
They grow to Dracula's size and they begin to overpower the Prince of Blood.
Dracula skillfully redirects Gabriel's attack to Samuel and he pushes them away from him.
Dracula begins to growl as he grows bigger until he reaches 10 feet.
Dracula wails like a mourning husband and roars at the twins like a savage beast.
The elevator opens and Rachael runs into the sitting room.
She runs to her room.
She opens her wardrobe and scatters through her neatly arranged clothes, throwing them to the floor to find the dagger.
Every second counts as she searches frantically.
She leaps with a little joy as she feels the blade and pulls it out.
She tugs it into the back of her pants and leaves. She runs to the elevator and punches the botton.
She breathes hard as she watches the warning lights of the elevator.
Hurried footsteps from the staircase removes her eyes from the elevator and onto the staircase.
Adrian appears as the footsteps come to an end.
"You move with the wrong crowd, human" he says as he stroll towards her.
John dives on Adrian and pins him to the ground.
The elevator opens and John shouts for Rachael's escape.
Adrian struggles with the blond vampire and comes on top.
They throw their fists at each other and Adrian shows the reason he has been the head of Dracula's security for years as he displays his superior skills.
"You insects should have just stayed out of the Count's way," Adrian says as he walks away.
He heads for the elevator but John holds him back.
He grabs the older vampire from behind and forces a suplex.
Adrian groans as he rolls on the ground.
John hisses as he watches Adrian struggle to his feet.
Adrian glares at John and charges.
The vampires snarl and bite at each other as they exchange series of punches, kicks and tackles until they reach the edge of the staircase.
Adrian wraps his hands around John's neck and squeezes hard.
John struggles with him and successfully breaks Adrian's thumb.
He punches Adrian as his grip loosens and John throws him off his body.
He runs and spears Adrian with his shoulder before he can get a strong footing.
Samuel groans as his back breaks the hard floor while Gabriel continues the fight with Dracula.
Dracula jerks Gabriel by the neck and bites into his shoulder.
His fangs penetrate Gabriel's furry skin and he drinks the sphinx's blood.
He holds his head and tries to snap his neck but Gabriel resists with all the strength in his body.
He knows being unconscious in this critical situation could mean death for himself and his brother.
Samuel grunts as he gathers himself and charges for another attack.
He delivers a drop kick to Dracula and frees Gabriel.
Dracula shouts as wings tear through his back and spread out.
His black wings boast their hideous appearance.
The elevator opens and Dracula turns his red eyes to Rachael as she steps out.
He charges towards her and the twins chase after him.
Rachael jumps out of the way and dives to the side.
Dracula flies towards her but misses her by a breath as she dives to one side.
He crashes into the elevator and his new physique destroys the door of the elevator.
Rachael crawls behind a sofa as Dracula searches for her.
The first touch of Gabriel's fist to his face reminds him of the two creatures he has to kill.
He struggles as the twins force their might against his dominating aura.
The immortals bleed each other but Dracula still overwhelms the twins.
Their fight comes to a halt when a table from the upper floors drops on Dracula.
Its weight crashing into the immortal and sending him to the ground.
John and Adrian crash into the floor.
Adrian stands up with a broken arm.
He groans in pain and he holds it.
His eyes scan the room to assess the situation when he hears the heartbeat of a human.
He catches Rachael as she tries to move from her spot and he makes a move towards her.
Adrian groans in agony as John drives a broken bottle into his neck.
The vampire wobbles as he tries to cover his neck.
John picks up the leg of a broken chair and stabs the wood into Adrian's chest.
Adrian coughs blood and he holds onto the make shift stake.
He falls to his knees as his skin cracks and his eyes fade.
Adrian falls and die.
John limps as he walks toward Rachael, "Are you okay?" he asks.
Dracula stands up before she can answer.
"John," Gabriel roars in warning.
John turns to find Dracula's hand around his throat.
His talons dig into the side of John's neck as he retracts his wings.
He punches his hand into John's chest and in the height of Rachael's cry he pulls out the vampire's heart and crushes it in his hand.
Rachael cries as yet again, she loses someone she cares about.
Her heart sinks deeper into the tearful waters of sorrow and pain.
In rage, Rachael runs towards the monster with Nightmare in her hand.
She uses a table as support and elevates herself into the air.
Dracula throws the dead vampire as he sees Rachael jump towards him, to her death.
The sphinxes attack as Dracula catches Rachael midair and throws her against some corpses on the floor.
Rachael rolls against the floor.
She catches her breath as she watches the twins fight and try to subdue Dracula.
Rachael sees a narrow space between the creatures and her eyes lock on it.
In a short exercise of inhaling and exhaling, she makes her decision and takes action.
She runs towards the fight of immortals and slides in between Samuel and Gabriel.
She slides on her knees and raises her gaze to the Count as she tightens her grip on Nightmare's helm.
Rachael drives Nightmare into Dracula's belly and his wings shoot out; flapping hard and pushing his sons away.
He grabs Rachael by the shoulders and looks her in the eyes.
She frowns with anger and determination.
The courage behind her eyes ignites an image of Justina in his mind.
The only mortal who was courageous enough to love him.
It infuriates him as his skin burns under Nightmare's plunge.
He sinks his fangs into Rachael's neck and she screams in pain as his talons dig into her shoulder.
His skin cracks as ash and blood flow from his wounds.
The twins are fast to separate the dying Count from Rachael but it may be too late.
Dracula begins to scream as he is swallowed in a fiery blaze.
They drop Rachael to the ground as she wriggles in pain.
Black veins appear on her skin and her breathing slows down.
"Rachael, Rachael," they call her name as she strides to the other side.
