Chapter 1Elliot's Death

Elliot screamed in absolute exhilaration as he smashed his foot on the brakes, just enough to fully utilize the power of his ceramic brakes but not so much that his tires locked up. He went from two hundred miles an hour to forty miles an hour in a heartbeat.

He entered the sharp corner from the outside at the maximum entry speed and skillfully brought his car to the threshold of his tire's grip.

SCREEE!!

He took the corner at record speed like a professional racer and then floored the pedal to the metal once more!

RAAARR!!

His 2401 Agera II shot out of the curve like a bullet and quickly caught up to Natoru's Gallardo III who didn't quite clear the corner as perfectly as he did.

"Gotcha! It's my turn to ruin your car, asswipe!!" Elliot 's lips curled into a grim smile as his eyes blazed with excitement and an intense thirst for revenge.

Elliot deftly positioned his Agera II diagonally behind Natoru's Gallardo III and then with a quick flick of his wrist, he bumped the Gallardo III from the rear.

Well, it wasn't a bump, actually. It was more like a crash.

CRASH!

Elliot's little crash caused Natoru's Lamborghini to swerve violently to the right!

"Damn! If it was going just a tiny bit faster, it would have flipped!" Elliot cursed his bad luck as he tapped on his brake to avoid Natoru.

After Natoru veered off the road, Elliot smashed his foot down the accelerator once more and his sleek Koenegsigg Agera II blasted off, leaving Natoru and his Gallardo III in the dust.

Ding! [Daily mission #350: Fishtail an opponent] Complete. 50 points acquired.

Ding! Pre-Race Position: 1. Maintain position until Dallas city to receive pole position for the Monthly Race.

Elliot ignored the familiar notifications in his mind and shifted to sixth gear.

VROOM!!

His Agera II leapt ahead as it's 10 Liter V20 hypercharged engine roared like a mighty beast and delivered one thousand horsepower to each of his four tires, powering him down the deserted highway in excess of four hundred kilometers an hour.

"There would be no way Natoru can catch up to me now." Elliot thought in satisfaction. "It's almost all straightway from here on. I will reach Dallas in thirty minutes tops. The pole position is mine!"

However, before he could fully bask in the warm glow of his minor victory over Natoru, he caught sight of something bright in his rearview mirror.

"Huh? What's tha.. OH MY GOD!" Elliot screamed in horror.

It was a laser-guided rocket-propelled grenade!"

SEEEEEEEEEE!!

The laser-guided RPG gave out a terrifying high-pitched wail as it rapidly approached Elliot's Agera II. Travelling at over four hundred meters a second, there was no way he could outrun it or even dodge it.

"Damn it! Damn it all!" He shouted with a deep sense of regret and unwillingness.

"It's all because of my stupid sponsors! How is it that I won the Monthly Race THREE times in a row, secured an additional Diamond Sponsor and got NOTHING??" Elliot gave voice to his extremely deep-seated grievance that had been weighing down on him for the past few months.

"Natoru only got participation last race and he got a G*D D*MN RPG! DAMN YOU DIAMOND SPONSORS!! DAMN YOUR SOULS TO HELL!! DAMN YOUUUUU-"

BOOM!!

The laser-guided RPG that Natoru got from his Bronze Sponsor was military grade, and could easily blow up an armored tank. Elliot and his Agera had no chance at all.

However, just as his Agera II was heaving upward and forward due to the RPG's explosion, time seemed to stop.

Ding! Player 1,227,454, Elliot Musk on the verge of death. Activating Diamond Sponsor Time Walker's Boon: Reverse Time Walk. Randomizing length. 350 days. Processing… … Complete.

After that, everything went black for a moment.

When Elliot opened his eyes, he was back in his old cottage out in an unknown small town somewhere in the State of California. He frowned deeply and glanced at the information panel next to his bed. 31st December 2421. Exactly 350 days before his death, and one day before the aliens invaded.

"What? Did I go back in time?" Elliot was surprised, but adrenaline was already pumping in his veins.

"Void Walker!!!" A giant golden dragon roared in anger. "What is the meaning of this?! Why are we back at the beginning!!"

A cute little girl in a cute warm yellow dress that looked barely a day over ten years old turned to the massive ten meter tall dragon and rolled her eyes.

"It was random. If you want to blame anyone, blame the organizers. How in the world did they manage to get the maximum roll on such a powerful boon? The maximum roll was only three weeks previously." The little girl shook her head in slight wonder and amazement. "That Elliot dude is extremely lucky."

"LUCKY?" The golden dragon roared again. "He's basically restarting the Game knowing EVERYTHING that would happen in the next 350 days! THAT'S CHEATING!"

The little girl merely gave the golden dragon a wide grin and shrugged helplessly. It was out of her hands and he knew it.

She glanced down on her betting slip.

Bettor: Jessica Sands

Bet on: Elliot Musk Final Victory

Bet size: 30 resource planets.

Payoff: 3,000 resource planets.

Jessica Sands the Void Walker chuckled with great satisfaction.

3,000 resource planets! That little punk was about to make her very, very rich!

She turned to look at the Monkey Lord who was similarly looking at his betting slip with a foolish smile.

"How much did you bet?" Void Walker asked.

"Two resource planets." Monkey Lord replied. "You?"

At that, the other fifty or so Diamond Sponsors turned their heads around to look at the Void Walked in shock and undisguised envy.

"THAT'S CHEATING! CHEATING!!!" The golden dragon roared furiously. But everyone present could hear the jealousy and unwillingness in his voice.

Hi guys, this author review is around chapter 190 and I would like to say a few things. 1. A big THANK YOU to all of my readers, and for all of you who are rooting after Elliot, Jennifer, Jessica, Jessica, Wu Kong and Jules! I have a ton more surprises in store, it'll be a great ride ahead! *spoiler ahead* 2. To all my potential readers/supporters. All of the characters around the MC will be pretty strong, so don't worry too much about him having "baggage". 3. His two sisters are going to be epic down the line, so don't worry about that either. 4. There are races in this novel, but it will mostly deal with the beast system in the beginning. So don't expect to read about racing until around chapter 80. 5. My discord server has pictures and inspirations in it so you can have a richer reading experience. Do consider joining it! :D Overall, I think this is a fun LIGHT novel to read. The first thing - author has done justice to the title. I haven’t read any racing books but I feel that as long as a person has a basic idea about racing, cars and various manoeuvres then - you are in for a treat. Side characters - well fleshed out and not just add ons. They have their own story. The mc - amazingly created because his personality and goals appear to a product of his experiences and not just for the sake of the plot. World building - it’s a huge world that the author has created and it isn’t static. It is dynamic and doesn’t just wait for the mc to create events and this shows how ‘alive’ the characters are. Lastly the plot - simple but strong. Instead of the climax or something else, actually going through the plot is much more fun, though it may change looking at how grand the world structure is. Kudos to you dear author, just don’t drop the novel and it will truly be one of the best online novels out there, I am 100% certain.

One of the most satisfying and fast-paced books I’ve ever read. Everyone progresses very quickly but not in a way that feels forced or wrong. The world building is pretty good. It’s one of the very few books to pull off a universe-level scale setting well. It’s not perfect but it’s more than good enough. The power system is incredibly fun and mc’s plot armor is explained by it(which imo is a great way to give an mc plot armor) Thank you Author for all you hard work

Great so far! Skipped for a few days because of comedy tag but incredibly glad I gave in and picked this up. One of the few novels that made me curse that I binged the chapters available so quickly. Definitely has the makings of a top ranking story, keep it up Mr Author!

Very fast paced action packed novel, I mean there literally isn't a single second spent reading this that is boring. It has a fairly unique approach on the summoning system, making it all that much better. Very well written with almost no flaws in grammar. Very good novel, definitely worth a read.
