"Have you ever wanted to visit our beautiful and bountiful seas?" An amusingly beautiful voice filled the slightly lit living room.

The purple-haired boy's eyes lit up as the television screen changed from an upward view of wavy seas to a submarine city.

The city was shaped like a huge disk with many long and girthy pipes protruding out of its underside.

A large and clear bubble-like barrier dome encircled the whole city. Tall blue skyscrapers and thousands of lights lit up the city, making a shining beacon in the dark seas.

The voice spoke again, even more tantalizing than before: "Welcome to the first completely man-controlled and operated underwater city!"

"The city holds many different underwater resorts, museums, aquariums, scuba diving, and, of course, the fan favorite, the Blue Sea Laboratory, where you can learn all about the biology of all the planet's seafaring creatures and even how we made this brand new underwater city."

Then scientists in long white lab coats appeared on the screen.

"We're hiring new biologists, technicians, and past Navy or Marines for future exploration of our world!"

The scientists gave a big smile as the TV transitioned once again to a view of a raging storm in the sea. Now the tantalizing voice sounded again.

"Please come to the new underwater city of Wsra, your under-the-sea home away from home!"

The living room was momentarily flooded with a bright white light.

And as the right light receded, the man in the red suit appeared once again, surrounded by pitch black.

"Now did you hear that voice in the beginning? It was heavenly!"

"Now that the ad is concluded, I have some very exciting news for all of you!"

"One of our local space exploration groups has recently gotten a lot more openings, so they will venture all across the planet, hosting recruitment challenges and later some interviews."

The man did a quick 180-degree turn and brought his hand to his ear.

"You want me to do what? really? Are you sure, boss? Hey, no need to yell, I'll do it."

The man turned back around with a small frown on his face.

"I'm sorry about that," Red Suit said in an unmotivated tone.

The man turned to his right, looked off-screen, and covered his mouth.

He quickly turned back and looked forward as his hand left his face.

The man had an even brighter smile than before; his teeth were so white that anyone could go blind looking at them.

I am sorry about that, my audience, but if you are not acquainted with the different stellar exploration agencies, let me help you.

Multiple logos appeared around the man dressed in the red suit.

The man pointed towards a logo with a brown box. This is one of the interstellar agencies specializing in transport.

In this one, the man pointed towards a blue flask; now they are focused on identifying different chemical effects across the world.

Oh, and I'll never forget this one. He pointed toward a bright yellow crown.

"This is one of the religion-based agencies; they spread the name of their god something on the lines of the bright Lord," he questionably said.

But that might be wrong. I don't know

The television turned off with a bright flash of light, leaving the living room and kitchen in the dark.

The boy got up from the couch, emptied the remote of its batteries, and threw them close to the front door.

He hesitatingly looked back towards the beaded door that led to the hallway and walked forward slowly.

He was hesitant about what he should do next; maybe he should run like his brothers and sisters or try to fight back toward the end like his mother. But would there be peace if he ran? Would he be the end? Would his father get away with all of it?

The purple-haired boy walked into the hallway, trying not to pay any attention to the rancid stench that was stuck in the hallway. He walked back towards the bedroom, laid his chest first on the ground, and crawled underneath the old bed.

He didn't have to crawl for long when he accidentally bumped his head against an object. The boy looked forward to seeing an old red wooden lock box.

The boy pushed his hands forward, grabbed the box, and slowly began pushing himself out from under the bed.

The box was quite heavy for him to move, but by the time the lock box was pulled out from under the old bed, he could barely move his thin arms.

He slowly pushed open the top of the lock box to see a long, sleek silver revolver with pulsing purple stripes along the barrel.

The revolver gave out an unnatural hum as the boy reached into the lockbox and slowly picked the revolver up. It was time.
