✨ FIRST ENCOUNTER ✨

I woke due to constant ringing of my alarm on my phone. I stretched my body and got up to do my morning routine which constitutes brushing my teeth and getting a shower.

I wore a grey three piece suit and checked myself for the last time and left my room. Then I headed toward the dining hall to eat my breakfast which constitutes corn flakes and a glass of orange juice.

After finishing my breakfast I left for my car. My driver, John was already waiting for me.

"Good morning, sir" He said and I gave him a curt nod and sat in the car. After 30 minutes of driving I reached my office building.

I looked at my office building with pride. Eight years of hardwork finally paid off. I started my own company ten years back but due to my belief in the wrong person destroyed my two years of hard work but I didn't lose hope and believe in myself.

I again laid the foundation of my company and this time I was extra careful. And after eight it finally bore fruits.

Now I am one of the billionaires  in Canada and my company is the second largest company in Canada.

I walked in and headed for my cabin. And thus my day started. After attending 3 meetings I was checking the power point presentation which was going to be presented in the next meeting. I was giving the last check but then my phone rang. It was my mother.

"Hello, my son ! How are you!" She asked

"I am fine, mom! How are you and dad?" I asked

"He is fine and I had called you to inform you that tomorrow you are invited for dinner at home and there is no option of declining and if you have any of your stupid work then ditch it and come or else the door of this house will be closed for you for forever" She said or I could say issued an ultimatum to me and I sighed. There was no option left other than complying.

"Okay!okay!" I said and then we had a small chat before she disconnected.

And my day went like this. Attending meetings, doing some paper work and having lunch break. After half past ten I was free to go back to my mansion.

After a hectic day I finally arrived back home and took a warm relaxing shower. I ate my dinner and then I did some of the paperwork.

After one hour I was able to complete it and got up to brush my teeth and then laid on the bed to sleep.

The next day the same routine except I winded up my work early because I was invited by my mom for dinner tonight.

"Asher Mansion" I said to John as I sat in the car. After driving for nearly for fifty minutes we reach there.

I was greeted by my mom as I entered the mansion.

"Finally you graced this house with your presence! " She exclaimed and got up to give me a hug.

My dad was seated on the sofa and my sister was seated across from him and there was someone else with her whom I didn't know.

"Hi brother and by the way you are here for a family dinner not a formal dinner!" Sofia teased me and I rolled my eyes at her and sat on the sofa which was adjacent to father and her.

"And Ash, he is my boring brother Kilian Knight" She said to the girl whom I guess is her friend. Her friend  just nodded in response.

My mother had left us and went in the kitchen. I took out my phone and started to scroll on Instagram. But then my gaze met with Sofia friend and I stared in her eye. But then she realised that I was staring in her eyes and she averted her gaze.

Oh God! What was I thinking when I stared into her eyes like that. But there was something odd about her eyes. It looks like those eyes were telling a story which was full of pain and sadness and she was hiding it with that smile on her face. Maybe I am overthinking I thought but again her gaze clashed with mine and I again found myself staring in her eyes and this time also she averted her eyes from me.

Come on! What has happened to me. How can I loose myself in someone gaze but one thing was sure she was wearing that smile to hide her pain. And before I could ponder over it more, mom called us for dinner.

I sat beside mom and Sofia sat beside dad and her friend or I should call Ash sat beside Sofia. And again my stupid thoughts started to revolve around her.

What has happened to her that eyes helds so much? Did she face betrayal or lose someone close to her?

And I got irked when she didn't attempt to initiate conservation with me. She was talking to dad and mom only. Her voice was so soft but it also held agony in it. I was waiting for her to start a conversation with me but she didn't.

Oh! God ! What has happened to me ! Why should I be concerned if she is talking to me or not. This girl has surely messed with my brain.

After finishing the dinner I came back home because my mind was getting crazy at the presence of Ashwariya.

Yeah I got to know her full when mom called her by it. This time I took a long cold shower and changed into a night suit and then slumped on the bed and dozed off to sleep.

Just how she messed by brain she was also able to mess my dream also and I could do nothing about it.
