Philip brimmed with delight as he looked at Doug, who had always appeared mischievous and playful in his eyes but had now undergone a significant change.
Yes. he still saw Doug as trustworthy. But, although Doug had consistently been helpful to him, Philip had often dismissed and downplayed his support due to their close relationship.
However now, even if Philip were the most tsundere person in the world, he couldn't help but give Doug a second look and see him in a new light.
Observing Doug fixing his monocle, Philip voiced his speculation, "Are you suggesting that you'll use your pact distorter to manipulate the rules once again, making it appear as though their door belongs to them?"
Doug nodded thoughtfully, "Well, that's the plan. Though I'm not entirely certain if it's feasible. I just drew inspiration from you..."
Without hesitation, Philip tightly grasped the energy-healing orb in his hands and hurried over to Doug.
