World Description

I've decided to give a comprehensive description of the modern and mythic worlds, to help guide our readers through the journey.

MODERN WORLD-

- Divided into five simple regions: North, South, East, West, and Central.

- Typical modern society with cities, technology, and global connectivity.

- People are unaware of the mythic world and portals.

- Some individuals, often descendants of ancient families or members of secret societies, possess knowledge of the mythic world.

MYTHIC WORLD-

- Comprises mainly of the Lycanthrope Kingdom, Fallen Dragon Empire, and hidden Vampire Region.

- Medieval-like society with magic, mythical creatures, and monarchies.

- Portals connect the mythic world to the modern world.

PORTALS-

- They are rare, magical gateways connecting the modern and mythic worlds.

- Can be created by:

- Skilled, powerful witches.

- Random chance (e.g., celestial events or in the course of prophetical fulfillments)

- Can just randomly appear. These ones most times lead to unpredictable places including little to medium societies not totally linked to the main kingdoms.

- Portals are typically unstable and unpredictable.

- Appear as shimmering, glowing rings or doorways.

LYCANTHROPE KINGDOM (MYTHIC WORLD)-

Bordered by the Great Eridorian Mountains to the east and the Endless Sea to the west.

Lycanthrope kingdom is ruled by the tyrant Alpha King, Theodore Silvercrest.

Werewolves dominate the kingdom, with humans and witches as subordinates. Although humans fall into the lowest rank.

Lycanthrope is divided into six regions:

1. Central: The Alpha's Fortress.

2. North: Silvermoon District.

3. East: Whispering Woods.

4. South: Howling Hills.

5. West: Moonlit Marshes.

6. South-East: Pine Town.

1. The Alpha's Fortress (Central)

- Capital city: Eldrida

- Ruled by the tyrant Alpha King

- Exclusively wealthy werewolves

- Home to the Royal Guard and Council of Elders.

2. Silvermoon District (North)

- Largest city: Moonhaven

- Predominantly wealthy werewolves, elite humans, and influential witches

- Hub for commerce and trade

3. Whispering Woods (East)

- Mixed population of werewolves, humans, and witches

- Modestly wealthy

- Dense forests and rolling hills

4. Howling Hills (South)

- Largest city: Hillcrest

- Predominantly middle-class werewolves, significant human population, few witches

- Hilly terrain and grasslands

5. Moonlit Marshes (West)

- Predominantly poor humans, smaller werewolf population, few witches

- Coastal region with marshes and wetlands

6. Pine Town (South-East)

- Almost exclusively impoverished humans, few werewolves and witches

- Dense pine forests and rugged terrain

- Raymond's hometown

(Note; Healers had the lowest population. They were coveted by the elites and their abilities abused. In a bid to protect their race which didn't end well, the healers got wiped out throughout the kingdom at some point.

CLIMATE-

- Continental climate with cold winters and warm summers

- Regional variations: Silvermoon District has mild winters, while Moonlit Marshes experience coastal fog and cooler temperatures.

It is noteworthy that Lycanthrope has two vassal werewolf kingdoms -

Moonhaven kingdom and Luparian kingdom respectively.

Kingdom of Luparia

Location: Southeast of Lycanthrope, bordering the Dragon's Spine mountains.

Culture: Luparians value strength, loyalty, and honor. They're skilled hunters and trackers.

Leader: King Ryker Blackpaw, a fierce warrior and ruler.

Relationship: Luparia has a long-standing alliance with Lycanthrope, providing military aid in times of need.

Kingdom of Moonhaven

Location: West of Lycanthrope, along the coast of the Great Ocean.

Culture: Moonhaveners are skilled sailors, traders, and diplomats. They value knowledge and magic.

Leader: Queen Lyra Moonwhisper, a wise and enigmatic ruler.

Werewolves Supernatural Aspects

The Lunar Cycle: Werewolves' powers are tied to the moon's phases. Full moon enhances strength and speed, while new moon weakens abilities.

Magic Users: Some werewolves possess innate magical abilities, such as shape-shifting, elemental control, rapid healing or teleportation.

Now, we move on to-

FALLEN DRAGON EMPIRE (MYTHIC WORLD)-

- Ancient, ruined empire. Fell during a sudden attack with unknown creatures (their identities would be later on revealed through the course of the novel) The war was later termed The Great War by other supernaturals.

- Dragons once ruled, having dominion over the whole mythic world. But now, they're extinct. (Or are they not???)

- Remnants of dragon magic and technology remain.

VAMPIRE REGION (MYTHIC WORLD)

- Hidden, mysterious area.

- Vampires govern, maintaining secrecy.
