Chapter 21-The Bride

"Hello, Sussex," I said, entering the large office where Lucifer was sitting.

"Hello, Daniel. Have a seat here, don't be shy, " he said, gesturing to the chair in front of him. I just sat on it and relaxed as I looked at Sazex.

"I think you asked me to talk about Rias, didn't you?" I asked, not looking at him.

"Yes, you're right. I wanted to congratulate you on your engagement. Rias has already told me that she doesn't mind it. But I also wanted to ask you something else. You're not going to stop, are you?" I doubt you'll settle for just two higher demons in your harem, " he said, looking me straight in the eye.

After teleporting, I looked around and only saw Rias, who was sitting on the sofa, nervously drinking tea. Apparently, the others just decided to leave us alone. Well, this is only a plus for me.

"Rias," I said softly, standing behind the girl.

"Ah... Daniel, you're already here," she said, getting up from the couch and walking over to me.

"I was so worried about you," Rias said, wrapping her arms around me and burying her face in my shoulder.

"I told you I was strong. You didn't have to worry about me, honey, " I said warmly, patting her lightly on the head.

"I-I-I was afraid you'd lose and I'd have to marry Riser." I didn't want to be his wife because I already had a lover. And that's you. "Maybe we should go for a walk," I said suddenly, after we'd left each other.

"Come on," she said, blushing a little after the kiss.

We held hands and slowly made our way out. I didn't want to use teleportation right now. I just wanted to take a little walk down the street with a nice girl I liked. No more, no less.

Our walk wasn't big, but it was very interesting. Mostly, Rias told me about herself and in particular about her childhood. She used to be more restrained and obedient, but the human world gradually changed her. The more time she spent here, the freer and bolder she felt. You could say she just broke out of her family's control and went her own way. Although she is still being looked after, it is no longer so intrusive.

After walking around the park and school grounds, we decided to go home. But this time, Rias insisted on finally moving into my mansion, which I agreed to do. But I didn't really want to fully introduce Rias and Miyuki yet. After all, I still want to give her father a little surprise.

After arriving at the house, I helped Rias settle into her new room and went in search of Medusa and Medea.

And I found them at the training ground. Medea was fighting Medusa at the moment and obviously wasn't in a good position. If Medea had had time to prepare, she would have easily defeated Medusa, but in sudden battles, Medusa was superior to her opponent.

"I give up," Medea said, after a few hits. It looked like she had run out of demonic energy, which also increased the pain from her wounds.

"Nice fight, girls. You're doing great for not forgetting about your training sessions. After all, life is a path of endless development. And knowing our life span, this path and the truth can become endless, " I said in a relaxed voice, clapping my hands.

"Master! they both shouted when they saw me.

"You came here to train?" Then, how about sparring? Medusa asked calmly.

"I don't mind. I should spar with both of you to get a better understanding of your abilities. Medea, you rest for now, and Medusa will start right now, " I said.

"All right," Medea said, stepping aside. Medusa just stood in a crouch, waiting for me to arrive.

I took a slow step closer to her and stood about ten meters away from her. A few seconds later, Medusa abruptly jumped in my direction, trying to attack me with her weapon, which looked like strange daggers on chains.

I easily dodged them and put more distance between us by shooting fireballs at her. I kept my strength at about her level, so Medusa managed to dodge, and even tried to throw her daggers at me.

This went on for about five minutes, until I got tired of it. I decided to concentrate my fire magic on my fingers, firing something like ten lasers at Medusa. Medusa almost evaded them, but it wasn't that simple. After her evasion, the lasers changed their trajectory and hit her directly in the back, causing her to fall to the ground and freeze.

"Okay, Medusa. You fought well, but you don't have enough creativity. Use everything you can against the enemy. Learn a few magic tricks that will help you in the future. "Now it's Medea's turn, step forward," I said.

"Yes, master," Medea said, as Medusa moved away from the impact of the battle.

This time we were standing at a much greater distance from each other. Medea was the first to attack, throwing a sort of ball of darkness at me. I created a normal demonic energy sword in my hand and used it to deflect the attack. After that, I began to approach her cautiously, using blinky. She tried to hit me with magic projectiles, but I was too agile for her.

Wearing a toga, I got close to her, but Medea just took off and flew into the air. Of course, I could attack her with magic, but I didn't want to use anything other than a blink and a demonic energy sword in this fight. So I just teleported through the air, trying to hit her, which I did. Although she was able to disguise her attack and even hit me once, I still defeated her by simply swinging my sword and throwing it into her stomach like a spear.

After the fight, I quickly treated my servants, and we went to dinner, where everyone else was already.
