The people that lived in Mardeal began the "Recreation" Plan.
This plan included Rebuilding the Homes, Shops, and all of the Structures that were previously there.
Of course, the Town would not be the same.
The No-Name leveled the entire Town.
Back in the Shelter, LacX lays on his bed after making food for the others.
Laying there, he wondered about what sort of Creature the No-Nam, a Unique Rank Creature, could look like.
While he thought about it, he also decided to increase his Magic Levels.
'With the Skill "Infinity Cast", I can increase both my Fire and Water Magic Levels. Maybe even my "Magic Control" will go up as well.'
Making 2 Small Balls of Magic, he makes a Fire Ball and Water Ball circle around constantly.
After a few minutes, his Skills rose by a few Levels. His Water Magic was Level 6, his Fire Magic was Level 5, and his Magic Manipulation was Level 8. His Infinity Cast also rose to Level 3, which made it easier for him to control his Two Magic's that were currently cast.
There was a knock on the door, causing him to lose focus, making the Magic disappear.
"Hey, is LacX there? I wanted to continue what we were doing earlier."
Knowing the person behind the door, LacX opens the door to reveal Amy.
"Yo. We can continue inside. I can also introduce you to some other friends of mine."
Walking in, Amy notices the Wolf and Girls who were all sitting on the bed.
Also noticing the Collars on their necks, she turns towards LacX, who had a worried face on him.
"There were some circumstances, so I ended up being their Master. It all happened recently, so I'm also trying to get used to it."
Still sceptical, Amy decided to accept it for now.
"Well, I guess I'll introduce myself. My name is Amy, the Multi-Cast Magician! It is a pleasure to meet you."
Not knowing what to say, they sat there, just looking at LacX. Sighing, he introduces them.
"The Wolf's name is Mana. She's my Tamed Creature. The Tiger Girl there is Nia. She was my first registered Slave. The One with little horns is Laril. I just got her registered yesterday."
The Three just nod there heads in unison.
"Well aren't they a quiet bunch. Anyways, wanna continue where we left off?" Amy makes herself at home and sits on one of the beds.
"Sure. I only have Wind Magic left. That is, unless you know Earth Magic?" LacX sits on the opposite bed.
"I do, but it isn't my forte. For some reason, I just can't seem to get an image for moving Earth."
"Well, teach me what you can. At this point, even if you can't do it, you can at least teach me."
"Well, one thing at a time. Let's focus on Wind Magic first." Gettin a small piece of wood from her bag, she takes a nearby chair and places it on top.
Activating her Wind Magic, she unleashes a small gust of wind, which cut the piece of wood in half.
"Whoa. That's pretty good. How did you do it?"
"Well, you were close in the kitchen. Just use less Mana, and maybe you can succeed on your first try."
Amy places another piece of wood to replace the first one.
Trying what he did in the kitchen, LacX pours less Mana into it, turning the wind into a slightly strong breeze instead of a light gust.
Using the Wind Blades from the Silverwind Wolves as reference, he puts the image into his mind, and unleashes it.
Failure.
Instead of a clean cut, he cut it into 5 pieces.
<New Skill Acquired>
<Wind Magic : Beginner Acquired>
"Good enough for your first try. Your lucky you didn't cut the chair. There are some scratches, but nothing serious. Try again."
After some trial and error, he still wasn't able to achieve a fine cut.
However, he did get a message from the system.
[Congratulations]
["Magic Manipulation" is now Level 10]
[Skill Rank Up : F -> E]
"Did something pop up from the System?" Amy was looking at him with a curious expression.
"Ah, sorry. I tend to be too focused on the System when it gives me a message. My Skill Ranked Up to E, so I was kind of excited for that."
"Oh? What Ranked Up? Was it be chance 'Magic Manipulation'?"
"Yes, how did you know?"
"Well, you just obtained Wind Magic, so it couldn't be that. By process of elimination, that was the only option. Now with that Rank Up, try it again."
Doing as she says, LacX starts to cast his Wind Magic.
To his surprise, the Mana felt smoother, and the Wind was a little calmer.
'So this is Rank E. It's different than Rank F by a long shot.'
Unleashing his Magic, he checks his results.
Failure.
It was cut into 3 Pieces this time. The 3rd piece was pretty small, but still noticable to anyone.
"Ooh, that was close. Thanks to the Rank Up, you can probably do it with a few more tries. Now, again."
After a few more times, finally.
Success.
As a matter of fact, it was a straight cut.
"Wow, congrats. You did this one perfectly. You'll know that you've mastered it when you can do it every time."
Before he could thank her, he noticed that the others were watching with curious eyes. Even Mana, who already knew Magic, was watching with gleaming eyes.
"Well, do you guys want to learn?" Amy gave them this suggestion.
They look at each other, then at LacX.
He nods, allowing them to come closer and practice as well.
They trained for a few hours, and LacX learned a few more things.
Earth Magic was a little tough, but he managed to get the Skill after a few attempts of making a Rock out of Crushed Stones.
Nia was good with Earth Magic, despite being able to use a Paralysis Skill. She was decent with Fire, but Water and Wind weren't her strong suit.
Laril was good with Fire Magic and Water Magic. She seemed to have trouble with the other elements.
Mana excelled in Water Magic, but was terrible at Fire Magic. Her Earth and Wind Magic were pretty good as well.
"You guys learn fast. With students this good, I should become a Teacher. Or, you guys can join the Magic School in the City." Amy began rummaging through her bag.
"Magic School? I guess there would be places like that. Where is it?"
Taking a Flier from her bag, Amy slams it on the chair.
"The Magic School is a place where many people gather to learn Magic. The School has many different Teachers and Studies. It even has Dorms to stay in, free of charge."
Looking at the flier, there was more information on the School.
[Join Marin Acadamy!]
{Located in the City of Torman}
<Come learn Magic at this Magic Acadamy! With Free Dorms and Classes, you can stay and learn! Pay the Tuition Fee of 2 Silver, and you can get a whole year of a Classes of your choice!>
{Slaves and Familiars/Tames can enter free of charge, but Management is handled by the Master.}
"This place seems interesting. It even allows Slaves and Tames, so that means that I can take everyone with me. And it costs Two Silver?" LacX hands the Flier to Nia, who shows it to Mana and Laril.
"That's because the Food isn't free. They also allow Side Jobs, so you can keep making Money as an Adventurer, or have some other Job. Either way, you can make money while still being in school."
"Master, they also seem to have Sparring Matches. My Tribe loves to battle, so if possible, I would like to attend classes." Mia shows LacX the back side of the Flier, which described more things in detail.
"They also seem to have an 'Everyday Use of Magic' Class. If I can learn from there, then I can be of more use to Master. I also wish to attend." Laril takes the flier to show him herself.
'Master, they also have other Tames and Familiars. If possible, I would like to communicate with other creatures that do not wisg to attack me.' Mana then takes her turn showing him the flier.
"Okay, okay. We'll go, but we should get some more funds first. We should also help the Townsfolk with the Reconstruction of the Town, even if it's just a little. If the Town isn't rebuilt, then next weeks continuation of the 'Event' might not be able to continue. Other than that, many people have lost their Homes and Jobs, so at the very least, we can help them with what we have."
Everybody nods in agreement.
"I'll join you guys, since that will help my conscious a little. If I don't, then it'll be in the back of my mind for a very long time." Amy chimes in, and takes the flier when everyone finished reading.
Everybody gets up, but before they could leave, everybody's stomach growled in unison.
"Well, I did say I would trear you to some of ge food I make, so I guess I'll go cook up something to satisfy everyone."
LacX leaves the room and heads to the kitchen while everybody stated in the room.
'Time to cook with my newfound Skills. I didn't practice my Magic for nothing.'
. . .
"Don't mind me, I'm just some runaway Time, running from my previous chapters."
I made a slight mistake the concept of Time. I'll readjust this for future chapters, but please don't mind the concept of Time from some of my first chapters.
Other than that, We now have Magic!
And every Basic Element as well! ~·v·~
There will be more Magic in later Chapters, byt for now, this is what you get.
I still need more ideas for Skills, so leave a Comment with a List.
Thank You for Reading!
