Sup dudes, WOW, Cutting it close there, i almost didn't released a chap today, but no worries fellas, i got it all covered.

So, I think you guys would like pics about the characters and other things about the story, so, after I post this chapter I'm gonna make a section were i will post the characters and pictures in it.

but that's it so I hope you guys are enjoying reading this story as much as I am enjoying making it.

The Emerald Forest

This place serves as the test zone for Beacon's initiation for many generations.

The rules of the initiation are pretty simple:

1- During the test, all students that participate need to first form team with someone, this groups are formed in a simple way, the first person that makes eye contact with a student will become their teammate.

2- both students must reach the temple at the deepest part of the forest trail and retrieve a relic, while fending against the Grimm that are living here.

3- Once the team has retrieved the relic, they must go to the safe zone at the forest entrance and present it to the teachers on site , doing so will count as approved and the team members will all be considered students of Beacon Academy.

4- This test most be done with outmost caution, if you don't think that you are ready for the Beatles against the Grimm, retreat at once, this test is live or death, and the teachers will not save you if you were to be in mortal danger.

<JAIDEN> And that's it, those are the rules.

<NICK> Those are some shitty rules, can't believe that that bastard will simply lunch students here like that...

Jaiden showed a relived smile, confirming that, so far, his new teammate was a normal person... or so he thought until "I mean, if he was going to throw them, might as well tell me before to get some snacks and a camera right?"

<JAIDEN> Righ- wait what?

<NICK> Tch, well, it no longer matters, so, Jaiden, by what the rules says you are my partner in this correct.

"R-right" Jaiden was unsure if he should take him seriously or as a joke, but he could figure that out later, for now "We are partners in this test, counting on you pal"

<NICK> Damn you are anoyi- I mean, excited, YES, excited for this test.

"OF COURSE" Again, Joden exploded in excitement after hearing Nick's question "Since I was young I wanted to be a hunter, fighters that are there to defend those that are not able to fend for themselves against the creatures of Grimm, just the idea itself was enough for me to set my path as a hunter!" Jaiden said with stars in his eyes "No fucking way, this bastard is male Ruby of all things! ...No, first, I need to ask him these, and if it turns out that way then..." Nick kept on thinking in strange sensations that aren't really clear, even for himself, but Jaiden misinterpreted his deep thinking as maybe something being off, so he decided to do one thing.

Offering Snacks.

<JAIDEN> Hey Nick, want a cookie?

<NICK> Hmm? Oh yeah, thak-!!!, what... did you ask me dude?

<JAIDEN> If you wanted a Cookie? I made a bit too many and brought some with me, wanna try them?

'Shit, Houston, we might have found it's Thought Nick in his head, while taking the cookie on Jaiden's Hand and taking a bite out of it... just to fell right in cookie nirvana~.

...Rivers of Milk.

...Mountains filled with Choco hips.

...He could even see the world, the world... is a cookie.

<NICK> ...What I'm the actual fuck did I saw? (A/N:Yes, he said it right, no mistakes on the spelling Xd)

"Oh!, you like it? No worries, I have some more here~" said Jaiden while showing me a bag filled with cookies, Nick just pushed the bag back to him and ask "Did you put anything wired on them?" the question made Jaiden confused "Not really... do they taste wired" Jaiden took one of the cookies and took a bite , but nothing happened, be was just looking at it "It taste just fine"

<NICK> 'Just fine' he says... ok then let me ask the best cookie judge that I know and then we can see if it's just fine.

"Ok, maybe they can tell me if something is missing..." well, let's just leave the cookie discussion for later, right now there was a more pressing matter to attend to.

<NICK> Well, as we are going to be teammates, might as well discuss what we can do, don't you think?

"Right, then let me go first" said Jaiden while taking his long sword and stabbing it into the grown "First, this is weapon, it's a mecha-blade that o call 'Gear Edge', it is quite heavy, but it comes with some nifty tricks, it has two added star blades that can be shot from it for long distance enemies, they can also come back to the blade as long as they are within 500m of me and at least in good condition" the description surprised Nick, the blade was huge, a few cm shorter than the owner himself, like 4 or 5 "And my semblance is call 'Cars Gate'" Jaiden explained while stretching his arm, and in the next moment, some dust started to converge in his open hand, untill it became a card with the picture of something that looks like a man with a green disguise and bird like characteristics "This let me create this cards by using a portion of aura and dust of an specific element, and once I place the card in a flat surface it will summon the creature within the card" Jaiden then took the card and place it in his blade, at that moment a spark came out of the card and a gust of wind surrounded them until a figure appear behind Jaiden, the same figure that was in the card "This is the elemental of wind, Avian"

<NICK> *Whistle~* got to say, that's some dandy semblance that you have there pal, so, what can it do?

"Well, each summon can be used in two ways as far as I have discovered, the first is call physical form, is the one they appear as, while on this form they can fight besides me, but they cannot be outside of an specific radius from me or I'll receive damage as backslash" the first restriction that Nick heard from his semblance, just like his, Jaiden's semblance seems to have some nasty restrictions "each summon has a different range, being Avian the one with the longest of 20m, while the shortest of all the ones I can use is of 2m"

<NICK> Hmm, this will be helpful, we could use him to see the surroundings while he is in the air, he has winds after all.

Jaiden seemed a bit surprised by Nick's words, like he wasn't expecting him to know that Avian could fly "Do you think I'm some sort of idiot?"

<JAIDEN> N-No, it's just that you are one of the few people besides my sister that came to that conclusion.

"... There are a lot of special people in this world... special in the head that is" said Nick while thinking about how one could come to the conclusion that wing+wind control=can't fly

<JAIDEN> W-well, no matter, so let me tell you about the other form.

Jaiden looked towards Avian and in the next moment, it started to became somewhat transparent until it became similar to a green aura that went into Jaiden " This is Aura form, the fuse with me and let me use some of its abilities, in this case it let me have a partial control over wind" Jaiden waved his arms around creating some gust of winds "but this does consume aura to keep up, few" Jaiden released the form and the green aura disappeared " So, what do you think"

<NICK> What do I think? Boy, that semblance is handy as hell~, and you said that there are other summons?

<JAIDEN> Yeah, but only 4 more, I'm only able to use wind, fire, water, earth and lightning and I can only summon one at the time.

"Well, we can see some potential in it that's for sure, now it's my turn" Nick took out his weapon, Dust Bringer, the entire thing was about 5.5 feet long, the blade alone was 4.2, and the handle was around 1 feet long, and between it, there was a component only seen in guns, a Cylinder of about 10 cm, all of this being carried in his left hand "This is my weapon 'Dust Bringer', a blade I develope in a way that it works similar to my semblance" Nick pressed a button on the side of the handle and the cylinder cam out to the side "the cylinder can hold up to 5 dusk bullets of any element, once is loaded and I pull the trigger, the blade will receive the bullets element and the blade will have its effect, a fire sword or a water sword, any element can be added, besides that I can use up to 2 bullets at the same time, 3 will cause the blade to start cracking up and 4 and onwards will straight up destroy the blade itself" Nick took the chance to load some bullets in the cylinder, one of each element at hand, the same elements that Jaiden has access to, and closed the cylinder "it is a bit lamer than your weapon but it works, besides, the effect of one bullet stays indefinitely untill I pull the hammer, but if I use 2 bullets, the combined effect last for about 5(A/N: Dragon Ball~) minutes... wait what?"

<JAIDEN> Heh~ that's quite the blade, and It looks simplistically cool.

<NICK> Right~!? I like this blade, its quite the master piece if I say so myself~

Nick put the blade back to it's sheath and continue talking while taking a green dust pellet from his belt canister "Then to my semblance, it's called 'Dust Discharge' (A/N: Yeah, had to change the name because of something that occurred to me, you will see in future chapters) it lets me take an specific quantity of dust of a single element and transmute it into said element corresponding effect" to show it, Nick broke the green dust pellet with his right hand and at the next moment *spark* an electric current appeared in it, followed by a gust of wind coming out of his hand untill it formed something similar to 3 spears of wind around him "Once activated I can use the element to attack from long range or to use it as support like busting my jump distancc, and, just like with my Dust Bringer, the effect of one pellet will stay indefinitely untill I use it or released the discharge"

<JAIDEN> Oh~ that's a convenient semblance, it's somewhat similar to mine.

"Yeah, now that I think about it...eh whatever, so, how do we do this" Jaiden was going to answer, untill *GRRRRRR*.

"!!" Both of them took their weapons in hand and looked at their surroundings, multiple Grimms around them, Beowolves.

<JAIDEN> How about a fighting test first.

"Heh, count me in!" the moment Nick said that he jumped straight towards the first beowolf, with the effect of the wind discharge still active, he appears in front of it before it could react and cut it's head off, there were another 2 Beowolves at each side that tried to attack him with their claws, but Nick jumped high on the air and pulled the trigger of his blade, loaded with a water dust bullet, the blade became surrounded by high pressure water covering it and making a water blade.

<NICK> Up here you you malformed wanna be dogs!

Nick swing his blade letting the water arc towards them, cutting them in half and disappearing "... well, that was disappointing, how is Jaiden-?" Nick turned to the other side, just to look how Jaiden cut a beowolf in half, while another being, most likely another of his summons, was punishing the shit out of other two like something that would yell "ORA" with every hit, in the end, all beowolves where defeated.

<NICK> So that's another one right?

<JAIDEN> Yeah, this one is lightning, Sparkman.

The area was cleared of enemies, all that was left was to move towards the temple, while taking out any Grimm in their way.

Gonna be honest with you people, I'm not that satisfied with this chap, maybe because I made it in my phone, it doesn't seem to have the same level of quality than the others, well, just have to make due for the time being, better release one than keeping it stuck in me head, oh well.

Gotta say, hearing Bokura no from EVE seemed to help me on this one, might do it again but with Fight Song instead next time~
