DEMON…PART I

Samuru laughed yet again and said, "I didn't expect the attack to get out of hand. It was supposed to make a fire bomb and not a freaking twister. Next time, I will get the formula right"

Naruto waved his hands in the air, "you plan to do this again, are you crazy?"

"Just a little bit" replied Samuru with a small smile.

"You jackass, you almost killed us" said Naruto as he jumped at Samuru. However Minato caught him and pulled him away from Samuru.

"Relax Naruto, he stopped his attack when he saw that you were all in danger" said Minato in a clam voice.

Minato then walked up to Samuru, "how about we have a talk?'' He placed his hand on Samuru's shoulder, and they both disappeared.

With Samuru and Minato gone, Kakashi said, "you all pass…lets go have soon thing to eat, I am paying"

Samuru and Minato appeared in the Hokage's office. Minato took his seat and looked at Samuru and asked, "I am impressed by your skill. Compared to your age mates, you are in a league of your own"

"Thank you. It gets boring sometimes being the best and after a while…. well let's just say it's true what they say, it's lonely at the top" replied Samuru.

Minato slowly nodded his head, "I guess you need a challenge don't you" he said.

"Nope, not really. I like my life right now, it has no complications" Samuru replied.

"Well then you aren't going to like what comes next. As hokage, I hereby appoint you to the Anbu black ops division." Said Minato.

Samuru sighed, "I guess there goes my quiet easy going life" he said to himself.

All of sudden, a man wearing a mask appeared. He knelt on one knee and said, "Reporting as order lord hokage"

Minato got off his seat and stood in front on the mask man, "did you locate them"

"Yes Sir" said the Anbu as he handed a scroll over to Minato. He read through and nodded his head, "good job, you are dismissed"

The Anbu agent disappeared.

Samuru looked at the scroll in Minato hand and asked, "So does the scroll say if your wife is cheating on you or not, I have got to know."

Minato turned to Samuru, "no it doesn't, but it has your first assignment as an Anbu agent" he said

"WHAT!!! But I haven't done any training, how am I already assigned a mission?"

Minato smiled "something tells me you are more than ready, don't you think so?"

Samuru didn't like the sound of that statement, it sounded like Minato knew a lot about him than he was letting on.

"So what the mission?" asked Samuru in order to change the topic.

"Your mission is to infiltrate Amegakure and disable an assassination team called Yurei that is preparing to launch an attack on the Fire Daimyo's palace."

"Sounds like an easy mission" replied Samuru.

Minato just smile "sure it is" he said, but his actually thoughts were, "It really isn't. It's an S+ rank mission that requires 50 Jōnin and 2 quasi- Kage level ninja to complete, I want to see how you accomplish this mission"

"So when do I leave?" asked Samuru.

"Right now" said Minato. He then performed a series of hand seals and a blank face mask with no holes for the nose, mouth or eyes appeared as well as a black uniform.

"Anbu uniform and mask…but why is the mask blank and the uniform black?" he asked

"It is customary for Anbu agents to design their own masks that is why your mask is blank. As for the black uniform, it's unique to you and you alone. If you accomplish this mission I will explain"

Samuru pick up the mask and uniform, "I will be seeing you soon" he said as he disappeared.

Samuru appeared in his room, put on the Anbu uniform that fit him like a glove and then he looked at the blank face mask as he thought up a design.

No design ideas came to him so he decide to just paint it black to match his uniform. He put the mask on and he couldn't see because he didn't create any holes for his eyes.

This wasn't a mistake but a chose, for when he activated his nine tomoe Sharingan, he could easily see through the mask.

He stood in front of a mirror and liked how his all black mask and outfit matched his sliver hair, with was also a problem given that his hair is unique in the village.

Samuru was forced to wear a black over cloak with a hood to cover his hair completely.

With one last look at the mirror, he vanished from his room off to carry out his mission.

Meanwhile….

Minato was seated in his office watching a video on a laptop.

The star of this video was Samuru….

"Who the hell is this kid?" he asked as he looked at a paused video. It was paused on scene with Samuru's nine tomoe Sharingan active.
