The Beginning

Hey. I'm Lily Madison. Im on a dance team with basically only girls. It's called Highest Point. There's only 9 girls in it. Vivian, Giselle, Christina, Cassidy, Anne, Hailey, Sherry, Belle, And me. I go to dance and we all practice our moves for this years Sectionals. As for me, it's only my second one therefore I am a sophomore. For us, we have the best coach in the world. Coach Dianne. After hard work an a dance number we have lunch. I sit with the girls because we are all like family. "Any eye candy you have there, Lily?" Christina asks. "No... I don't think there's even ANY eye candy at this school." I say. "I mean, Seans pretty cute." Sherry says. "Yes, but he's gay." Anne says. "I need to find the right one. And the right one, isn't at Peak High." I say. "I don't understand how you can go to a parties and not get a boyfriend." Belle says. "There WAS victor..." Vivian says. "But he went to juvie..." I add. The bell then rings and we all head to class.

It's the end of the day and I head to the cafe. I drink a bit of coffe and look outside. "So you're from Peak Hights?" A guy says. I look to him and he's... very handsome. "Yes, actually." I say. "I'm Finn Hall." He says. "Lily Madison." I say. "Looking at your jacket, I'm guessing you do dance." He says. "Yes. Are you into dance as well? Not to assume..." I say. "Don't worry. I do dance too. From Inston Academy." He says. "I believe we are rivals, for this years Sectionals." I say. "Is that so?" He says. "Yep." I chuckle. "Well I guess that means I can't ask you to help me practice." He says. "Practice? Your school is one of the top dancing clubs. I don't think you'd wanna get practice from ME." I say. "Maybe I would." He says. I look down and laugh.

It's a bit later and Finn and I are walking at a park. We then hear music, a sound to a dance me and my dad would do. A tango. "My god. This song..." I say laughing. "What? This is a good song!" He says. He then pulls out one hand and says "Milady?". I take the hand and we dance. Twirling, dancing, laughing, and kind of crushing. We end the dance when he dips me. There we are, the middle of the park, crowds surrounding us. I get up and brush my hair back. He looks at me and smiles.

I get a text from the coach... "Is she falling for you yet?" The text says. "Yes. I have it all under controll." I reply. Luckily I have to survive doing this til Sectionals. "Is something wrong?" Lily asks. "Everything's fine" I say smiling.
