Nightmare Dungeon.

After successfully getting into the guild, I rested in one of the many rooms the facility had. As I closed my eyes, I heard Punpun speak.

[Dungeon opportunity!]

[Are you interested?]

'Of course, I am!'

[Transporting...]

I felt the same familiar sense of vertigo for a moment then I felt my socks get wet, disgusting.

[Welcome to the Nightmare Dungeon!]

[Dungeon Difficulty: Intermediate]

[Quest: Complete the Dungeon.

Reward: 2000 GP, 50 Free Desired Stat Points]

[I have doubled the reward due to you encountering an anomaly last dungeon. I deeply apologize for last time, it will not happen again.]

I laughed, 'It's fine Punpun, I trust you wouldn't intentionally put me in harm's way.' Punpun went silent after that but I know he heard me. I drew Kura and started walking into the dungeon, despite my wet socks.

After a few meters, I heard the flapping of wings and Punpun's warning assured me of my theory.

[2 E-Rank mammals approaching!]

"SHREE!" One of the creatures yelled as I heard them get closer to me. I already had [Domain] activated and once they entered into my bubble, they were turned into mincemeat.

Not even three minutes later, I felt vibrations from under me. I immediately flash-stepped into the air and heard the noise of something breaking through the earth.

[1 D-Rank mammal in your vicinity!]

"ROOOAAARRR!!" I ignored the beast's roar and sheathed Kura. I used [Amass] to its maximum capacity on my right arm and punched where I estimated the beast to be.

*BOOM*

My fist made contact with the beast, exploding its blood and guts all over me...disgusting. First wet socks, now monster blood on my clothes? I'm already hating this dungeon.

After that, I killed a few more creatures and eventually found myself in front of the boss doors. When I opened them, Punpun gave me another warning.

[WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! C-RANK BOSS IN YOUR VICINITY!]

I stopped listening to Punpun's warnings and walked right on in.

"ROOAAAARRRR!" The roar of the beast reverberated throughout my body but I stood strong. I unsheathed Kura and activated [Aura]. I heard the beast charge toward me and I used [Flash Step] to get out of its way.

*BOOM*

The attack by the presumed gargantuan beast, made contact with the stone floor, giving me the opportunity to [Flash Step] and cut deeply into its side.

"ROOOARR!" It roared in pain and I heard the swooshing of its tail, but it was too late and I was already being sent flying.

*BANG*

"KAH!" I threw up some blood and Punpun listed my various injuries. I told him to be quiet and give me the potion, which he did. I drank it and went back on offense. I got near the beast again and I heard the swooshing of another attack.

I flash stepped out of the way and flash stepped again to get closer to it while it was open. I used [Aura] to the highest degree and cut across its face. I made sure to [Flash Step] backward to avoid a retaliation attack.

The fatigue of using so much mana in quick succession was beginning to hit me, but I had to keep fighting! I was going to complete this damn dungeon! I tightened my grip around Kura and flash-stepped above the beast.

I activated [Domain] and used [Scorching Sun] simultaneously, "HAAAA!!" I felt my blade cut through the beast's hide and I knew I left a huge gash in its back. I could hear the blood dripping from all of its wounds.

"H-Human! HUMAN!!!" I heard the beast's deep voice in my head as it yelled in rage. I felt an incredible amount of heat hit me like a truck and I was sent tumbling across the ground before hitting a wall harder than ever.

"MMMMMM!" I held in my cry of pain and yelled at Punpun to give me the goddamn potion. Once I drank it and dislodged myself from the crater, I felt the beast's presence right in front of me.

*SWOOSH*

I ducked under his claws and gave him a large cut on his underbelly. His attacks didn't stop as after I rolled, I heard his tail move. This time, I put my arms in an 'X' and blocked the brunt of the attack but I still felt the pain of some of my bones fracturing. His tail attack skidded me across the ground and he attacked me again.

I leaped backwards but his claw still managed to create a deep gash across my chest. I rolled backwards along the ground and the unholy amount of adrenaline coursing through my veins didn't allow me to feel most of the pain. Despite all of that, I could feel my blood escaping my body at abhorrent rates and soon I'd either pass out or die from blood loss.

I didn't have enough GP for another health potion so I had to keep moving forward! I gritted my teeth and held Kura tighter than ever before, it was time to test out the skill I was working on. I began to move the mana particles to generate heat and tried to collide them with the oxygen in the air. I've never really gotten this far, to be honest, so whatever happens next is a mystery to me.

I increased the rate of vibration and collision and then it happened.

*BZZT*

Instead of the heat from a flame, I felt the shock of electricity.

I felt the lightning course through me and I wanted to end this in one single attack. I used [Amass] to its max capacity on my legs, and I felt the ground below me crack. Why not name this attack too?

"Hoshi Arts: Wrath of The Lightning God!"

After uttering her attack name, Yoko vanished from her position in a flash, and the giant tiger was horizontally cut in half. When Yoko finally reappeared, a clap of thunder echoed throughout the boss room. Yoko sheathed Kura and passed out due to blood loss.

"Yoko-noona!" I heard Hae-won's voice approaching my room and I slowly got up. It seems my wounds were healed but the fatigue from overusing my mana and [Amass] still affected me. I heard the door open and Hae-won hugged me.

"Yoko-noona! That fight was so cool! I wanna be like you!" I ruffled her hair and laughed, "You've got 11 years to go then kiddo." I also heard Rae's heels clack across the ground and she too was in my room.

"Are you okay? Surely that fight had to be a bit taxing, no?" Rae asked in her mom voice and I nodded, "Yeah, I feel fine. I'm a bit hungry though..."

"Alright then! We're having barbeque! Bring Cha Haneul too, she did well out there as well," Rae said as she and Hae-won left. I decided to let Punpun list off all my rewards and gained stats.
