Two days later the other four also returned home finding Wendy, Carla, and Jack, as well as Kinana, in the guild being surprised about Kinana did Erza unsheath her sword to attack only to be stopped by Jack who catches her sword.

"Now I needed to make it look like she escaped," says Jack.

"You could have told us," says Erza.

Jack looks seriously at her and the others and says, "The only one I could trust with this information was Lucy because she can keep secrets."

Making the other three turn towards Lucy making Jack say, "She didn't know. Now warm-up and eat something. I got paid handsomely for our job against the Balam Alliance."

"What about us?" asks Natsu curious to find out.

"Ask the Master. I only picked up my pay," says Jack as he walks to his table and begins his routine just that this time more people than normally were sitting around him.

They all see Jack joke and smile something really rare before the months he entered the guild. Days past and suddenly the city began to change making Jack curious.

"What is happening?" asks Jack.

"Right you are new like Lucy and the others. It's Gildarts that is returning," says Erza.

"Gildarts?" asks Lucy.

"Yes, the strongest member of Fairy Tail," says Natsu in excitement.

"He is that strong?" asks Jack curious.

"It's his magic. Everything he touches crushes that's why the city changes every time he returns to Magnolia," says Gray not as excited as Natsu.

"That seems like an overkill to me. He must be interesting to fight against," says Jack now excited.

"Don't do it. It's hard enough to repair everything when normal members fight. When Gildarts fights the whole guild needs to be repaired maybe the whole city. That's why he is prohibited to fight in the city and only returns to accept contracts or to rest after fulfilling one," says Erza as the door opens and a man with orange hair enters the guild.

"Ah, finally back," says the man.

"Gildarts fight me," says Natsu as he rushes Gildarts and is only sent flying as if nothing by him.

"Ah, Natsu still challenging everyone that is stronger than you as I can see. But good timing I need to talk to you about something important later," says Gildarts as he continues and sits in front of Mirajane and asks for something to drink before the Master came to ask how his mission went.

Makarov gives Jack a look that tells him to follow them up. Jack then closes his tome and stands up.

"You still haven't taught me how to summon something new," says Lucy as she was waiting for Jack to teach her.

"When I find something easy and not dangerous I will teach it to you alright. I could teach you something simple but it could kill you that's why I'm not teaching you the spell for now. So how about you entertain Wendy while I go up for a moment," says Jack as he leaves the group to join the Master and Gildarts.

"Kid you shouldn't be here," says Gildarts as he sees Jack on the upper floor.

"I called him here. He is an S-Class Mage and someone I trust," says Makarov defending Jack.

"But should he really listen to what I have to report?" asks Gildarts confused.

"I would also rather read more in my book but the master wants me here," says Jack not interested in what Gildarts has to say.

"Oh really," says Gildarts making an angry face.

"Really," says Jack as he brings his tome out and opens it making Gildarts laugh all of a sudden.

"I like this person," says Gildarts with a smile.

"Can we go back to the subject of why we came up here," says Makarov as he was sitting on a chair.

"Right. I failed the quest. I was attacked by a Black Dragon in the middle of it. He wounded me quite good," says Gildarts showing his wound.

"Can you heal him, Jack?" asks Makarov as Jack looks over the wound and begins to use healing magic.

"He should be back in some minutes. He was wounded pretty hard. You are lucky to still be walking," says Jack as the wound was closing leaving some scars behind. He couldn't do anything against his missing limbs since Gildarts has already used some prostheses.

"If I treated you earlier the scars wouldn't be there and you wouldn't have needed those prostheses. Well some women like scars," says Jack as he finished healing Gildarts.

"A Black Dragon you say," says Makarov out loud while thinking.

"Yes, quite a vicious beast if you ask me. He attacked me out of nowhere," says Gildarts as he drinks his beer.

"A Dragon. Now that you mention it," says Jack as he remembered something he forgot. He takes both Dragon Eggs out and says, "I was keeping them for my children. I got them by luck."

"What are those?" asks Makarov curious about the eggs.

"Dragon Eggs," says Jack making Makarov and Gildarts sweat bullets from hearing what Jack just said. They take a step back from the eggs when Jack says, "Don't worry, even I don't know how to hatch them."

Then he puts them away again and Makarov says nervous, "Please put them away."

"Right," says Jack as he puts both eggs back in his ring.

"Now, let's talk about the events that will soon happen," says Makarov.

"You mean you want to make more S-Rank Mages," says Gildarts.

"Make more?" asks Jack confused.

"We have a ritual of going to Tenrou Island to examine the mages that could be worthy of becoming S-Rank Mages. I will need every S-Class mage there," says Makarov when a man that was covering his face enter the building.

The person makes eye-contact with Wendy and leaves immediately. Wendy and Carla run out to follow the person.

"Who was that?" asks Jack curious.

"That was Mystogan. He has a tragic past," says Makarov in a sad tone.

"Well if there is nothing else to talk about I will leave," says Gildarts as he stands up and makes himself ready to leave the building.

"I will stay until the whole Tenrou business is over. Then I will hit the road again," says Gildarts as he leaves them both.

"I will do the same. I still need to teach Lucy a summoning spell that she can perform without dying," says Jack as he leaves Makarov alone to join the others.

He arrives at the table and says, "Lucy we are leaving it's time to teach you the summoning spell I have in mind for you."

"Really," says Lucy in excitement.

"Yes," says Jack as he opens a portal and both arrive at their last battlefield. Then he says, "Alright. It won't be too tasking but still dangerous. What we are going to summon will be a Dremora. They look like demons but aren't really evil."

"Demons really," says Lucy now nervous.

"You will see," says Jack as he opens a black portal and a Dremora Lord comes out of it and bows to Jack.

"You called Master," says the Dremora Lord.

"That here is Drell. He commands the Dremoras I summon," says Jack presenting them to each other before saying, "Now it's your turn. It only needs magic of any type to summon them. Concentrate on summoning one that looks like Drell."

Lucy tries to do so but only summons a Scamp that tries to attack her but Drell kills it sending it back to Oblivion.

"What was that?" asks Lucy scared now.

"That was a Scamp. They are at the bottom in Oblivion from where they are from. Now try again and don't panic. It's because you panicked that it attacked you," says Jack as Lucy stands up and tries again.

After ten more tries, she finally summoned a Dremora even if it was a lesser one.

"Good job. Now try again," says Jack as he banished the Dremora and she summons another one. She jumps up and down in happiness of succeeding with the spell.

"Now lets return," says Jack as he opens a portal and the return to the guild.

It was raining all of a sudden and Jack says, "Something is wrong."

"Where are we? And where is the City?" asks Lucy as Jack was looking up before hearing Wendy, Carla and a familiar voice.

"It has begun," says the voice.

"Jellal?" asks Jack confused.

"No, I'm not from Earth Land like you Jack. I was just using the name Jellal in my younger days. I'm Mystogan it better known as Crown Prince of Edolas, Jellal," says Mystogan as the trio meets with Jack and Lucy.

"How do we stop this?" asks Lucy nervous.

"We can't they are right now transferred to Edolas through Anima," says Mystogan seeing it happen.

"Anyway to get to Edolas?" asks Jack.

"Jumping through Anima to enter Edolas," says Mystogan.

"Can't have that happen," says Jack as suddenly he was in his Black Armor and he uses time magic bringing the whole town back.

"Are you crazy you could die," says Mystogan worried.

"Don't worry I have done it before," says Jack as he turns time to when the while in the sky appeared and forced it to close with the space stone saying, "We both will need to go to Edolas right now."

Jack grabs Mystogan as he begins to fly to the hole that was about to be closed.

"What are you doing?" asks Mystogan as he see Jack approaching the hole.

"We will find a solution once there," says Jack as they enter and pass through it arriving at Edolas.

"Not bad just that this world has no magic. No wonder you left it to go to Earth Land," says Jack as he realizes that Edolas has no magic.

"I went to Earth Land to stop my father from using Anima," says Mystogan as Jack lands while holding Mystogan.

"Who lives here?" asks Jack seeing a castle.

"My family," says Mystogan.

"So your father is the bad guy here right?" asks Jack.

"Yes, he uses Anima to bring magic to this world by using, for example, Fairy Tail. He has done it before bringing people over and making them into Lacrima so they could be used," says Mystogan.

That made now Jack angry who suddenly reveals his claws and says, "Well, Edolas will have to look for a new King once I'm done with him."

"Wait how are you planning to get to him?" asks Mystogan worried that Jack would do something dangerous.

"With them," says Jack as suddenly hundreds of black portals opened and Daedra entered Edolas.

"Do you think they are enough?" asks Jack.

"More than enough I think," says Mystogan as he sees an army approaching his former home.
