Chapter two: Bomb

Few years later...

"What course are you taking?" Her best friend, Amy asked.

"Criminology", she answered as she compile her school documents.

"Lucky you, I don't even know why I chose Medicine", Amy murmured.

Mika slightly chuckled, "Don't worry you still have two weeks to change your mind"

" Very funny"

While packing her things, a piece of folded paper fell from the top of her cabinet.

" What is this?" she murmur.

She opened the paper, "how is he?", It turns out, that paper was given by Ryan, the sketched version of Mika.

Mika' s mouth slightly curved upward," is he trying to find me? Oh, Mika! Don't be silly"

She hates to admit it, but the thought of Ryan, makes her heart flutter even more.

Mika looked at her reflection on the mirror," its just an ordinary puppy love don't be silly!", She simply glance at the drawing given by Ryan with ' my girl ' below his signature, she laughed ," No it's not!"

The years passed by, Mika became the top of her class, she's now done with her studies.

Mika' s life became tougher because of the military, she became stronger and fearless, instead of feeling tired, she felt extremely energized by the thought of her being officially part of the Philippine Army.

For 10 years of hard work, she became the captain of the Philippine Army.

Captain Hernandez, Major Ramos speaking, over.

Mika pressed the transmission button on the radio," Captain Hernandez speaking, over"

General Hernandez wants you to go to his office office right now, over.

"Copy"

Mika went to the office of the General.

"Captain Hernandez, sir", she saluted.

Saluted," I guess you already heard about what happened on Cagayan, right?" General asked.

"Yes sir"

"How about the atomic bomb released at Cagayan De Oro?"

"Yes sir"

"Do you know who released it?"

"We're still investigating, sir"

General Matthew Hernandez gave Mika a folder of information about the investigation.

General Hernandez sighed," Philippine Army and Philippine Navy will team up for the investigation about the explosion of the bomb at Cagayan"

"Yes sir" saluted.

Before Mika leave the room she heard general Hernandez saying," Good luck, honey"

"Yes dad", she murmured and leave.
