Chapter Twenty Four: I can't lose you, Zeke

Ryan is swiping through his cellphone gallery, looking at his stolen pics of Mika. In less than a minute, his mouth slightly turned upward. In the picture, Mika was back hugging Ryan while smiling so sweetly.

" Wo xiangnian ni( I miss you)" He murmured.

Mingmei knocked on the door," Ryan? Are you there?"

He put his phone in his pocket," Hm"

Kyrie run towards Ryan," Uncle!"

Kyrie sat on Ryan's lap, Ryan brushed Kyrie's hair by his fingers," How are you, Kyrie?"

She looked at Ryan with full of excitement," Uncle! Can you be my Dad?!"

Ryan confusedly looked at Mingmei," Huh?"

Mingmei awkwardly laughed," What she meant is, Can you attend as her father tomorrow? for Father's day in her school"

" Oh" Ryan caress Kyrie's cheeks," Of course"

" Hey...?" Mika said through call.

On the other side of the phone call, Ezekiel who's drinking a wine while looking outside the window.

"...I can't lose you zeke, you're my only best friend..."
