Shawn's eyes blinked slowly in contemplation, and he took a low breath. Ileus might be right, but then again, is he meant to just sit and watch him die? He truly will never be able to forgive himself. He raised his eyes to look at him and slowly smiled. "Okay... I have heard you." he agreed, and Ileus patted him on the head before adjusting to rest his head on the sofa.

(9:55am, the next day)
Adrik made his way downstairs towards the car with Alex and stepped in. He shut the door and Alex started the car's engine, then with a swift reverse, he drove out of the compound and sped off onto the road.
Currently, they are making their way to none other than Vlad's home. He was the last person left for him to get his help.
He had visited the mages already and although it was not easy at all to convince their leader to help him, he still managed to do so, and right now, he could feel himself coming close to saving his wife.
