Chapter 27

Christopher POV

Seeing Natalia standing there as she told me that they caught Chelsea, I can't move my eyes from her beautiful face. She informs me that Chelsea was stealing money from me as well as taking pictures of contracts that are in the negotiation. When Natalia hands me Chelsea's phone and the check that was taken off her, I see her face is getting pale. Instead of telling me what was wrong, Natalia insists that she is fine up until she goes to walk to me. I see it in her body language before she takes a step and reach out just in time to catch her as her legs gave out. I start to look for any injuries when I find one that makes my breathing stop. In her side is a stab wound that is gushing blood. I see the trail that leads into the room and wonder how I didn't notice it or her holding her side. Natalia said that Chelsea had a knife but didn't say that she was able to get a hit in.
