Hotpot dinners have been a staple since I came to Japan. Wholly from a catastrophic insinuation I brought upon the Iijima family─because, Nadeshiko Kagamihara. Once in a while, three of us girls in the house would eat our fill of home cuisine. With or without occasion, for which I inadvertently started a tradition unthinkable for them when I haven't been encouraged by their sole man in the family. Well, it's not necessarily a sentimental thing. Sometimes, I'd be with the guests going in and out of their business. It's not everyday that they can interact with a foreign person, albeit often mistaken as a Latina woman. Weird, because Kyoto in itself is a tourist hotspot that I've never got to be normalized as another resident from that side of the city near the private university.
Thing is, I never thought of hotpot as a practice session.
