Mathilde and I shared a look as we both stared at Anna, the emotive twin grinning madly as she stared down at us as if we just waiting for her to make a move.
We weren't, but judging from the hint of amusement in Mathilde's eyes, she was getting just as eager for this as her twin was.
"Did you seriously just say that?" I couldn't help but chuckle at Anna's imposing form. "Are you that shameless for it?"
"What's shame between the most important people of my life?! And yeah, I'm done waiting!" Anna grinned as she pulled both Mathilde and I with her to the tent. "I've been waiting for this since Mathilde floated the idea to me weeks ago, and I'm not going to let my twin's awkward hesitation stop us!"
I almost did a double-take at that. Mathilde? Being awkward and hesitant?! That sounded so unreal!
