With my neck being unresponsive, I was forced to wait as the two seemed to disappear into the distance, probably to go to where they kept the blankets in this room. Although, it was kind of weird for my room to not have my lights on. And looking at the ceiling, I wasn't seeing a light bulb or any other conventional light source. The orange dim in the background was reminiscent of a flame on a torch or candle, but I at least had experience with incandescent light bulbs. Had I assumed the situation wrong and I was in some backwater hospital for some reason?
Well, at least my savings won't be too affected by this.
"All right, here we are."
Thank finally.
I closed my eyes as I anticipated the snuggly warmth of a decent blanket to cover me from the cold. Anytime time now, I'd finally stop shivering and retreat to the cold abyss of Morpheus to ignore the future problems that I was trying to ignore at the moment.

Anytime now...
