"Little Lise, Young Rouge," Baccus greeted us as soon as we opened the door. The old man was apparently sorting through some stuff, probably logistics with Douglas again. "I see that you're done with the bow rifles?"
"Not necessarily. We still have a few more watchtowers left to outfit with the new weapon," Lise professionally recounted, giving me more reasons to be proud of her. "I still have to finalize the blueprints for it as well."
Ahh... Blueprints... A way to put designs to paper for others to follow. Though in this case, said blueprints were etched onto sheets of wood due to the lack of paper. Thankfully, paper was already a thing here, but the term for it was something that I had slipped out by accident during a building session and I had to painfully explain just why I called the plan a 'blueprint' to people that couldn't understand the etymology of the term.
