Slolo Leveling: The Monarch Of The Hunt

This wasn't what he was expecting. Honestly, he felt this wasn't what anyone would expect when dying in your first gunfight. It wasn't even something that he did, it was something that he was trying to stop! Being a newly appointed police officer at the age of twenty-one, he expected to stop muggings and write tickets, and nothing exciting would happen for a while. It only took three months for a bank robbery to happen and for him to get shot in the lung and bleed out. Now he was a baby again. Yeah, no way he was going to join the police force again. ___ This is a project that my friend is helping me make... The start may be boring but I'm hoping that it won't suck too much.

Chapter Three

Moon Dae-Seong was dead, physically. He was still there but his body might as well be dead.

-

[Alert: Choose your reward!]

[Status Recovery.]

[Stat points.]

[20 Gold.]

-

"Status Recovery."

His voice was strained as he spoke, his chest going up and down as he tried to take in as much air as he could. All of that exhaustion was whipped away when he spoke those two words. It felt weird, having all of his muscles recover as if the strain he put on them never happened, his lungs filled with air and sweating stopped on command.

It was amazing.

Straightening up on the bench, he claimed his stat points, dismissing the popup as soon as it came up, with a rise of the eyebrow, he claimed the gold a second later.

[Alert!: 20 Gold has been added to your inventory.]

Cracking his neck, eliciting a satisfying crack as he willed the system to open.

Narrowing his eyes he thought for a moment before adding the three stat points he go from the daily quest to Vitality. Not feeling any different, he stood up from the bench and started walking toward his apartment.

"Store."

A large, blue window popped up, showing a wide selection of broadswords. On top of the list were icons, indicating a few weapons. Daggers, One-handed swords, Spears, Bows, shields, and many more.

He had no experience with swords or daggers... Or spears but he does know how to use a bow. The few hunting trips he went on with his friends from his previous life gave him enough experience to pull off a decent shot.

With just a thought, the screen went to the bow list and he stared for a bit. Where the hell would he get three hundred million gold coins?! Deadpanning at the screen he changed the settings to the cheapest available.

Sighing, He bought the one that cost fifteen gold, the most basic bow. while he was at it, he bought 25 arrows, with 5 costing one gold.

[Alert!: "Basic Bow" has been added to your inventory.]

[Alert!: "Arrow" 25x has been added to your inventory.]

Dismissing the notifications, Dae-Seong stretched his hands, noticing the visible change in his muscle structure. His bones became less visible, and now he only looked mildly starved, rather than looking like he hadn't eaten for months. A definite plus.

Reaching behind his head, he pulled up the hood of his hoodie and started jogging back to his apartment absently, thinking the whole way.

So, vitality improved his body, contrary to what he thought about strength. His health went up by thirty points. Humming thoughtfully, he focused back on reality, continuing the rest of the way to his apartment, planning on enjoying a nice shower.

___

Apparently, coming home from an exercise was a surprise for his mother, but he ignored that in favor of sinking into a nice warm bath.

"Oh... Yeah~."

Breathing out in pleasure Dae-Seong closed his eyes for a moment. That didn't last long however as he opened up his inventory. Reaching inside, he took out the bow and stared at it for a little bit. Yup, it was just a normal, wooden bow.

Tossing it back in the hammerspace, he looked up at the ceiling.

[Quest Received!: Prepare!]

[Objective: STR: 10/60. VIT: 13/40. AGI: 15/65. INT: 20/100. SEN: 10/40.]

[Time Limit: 361 Days.]

_

Dae-Seong sighed, this was going to be a pain in the ass to complete, but it was doable... Probably. Looking at the required stat points, he quickly calculated the total amount and the number of daily tasks he would need to complete.

It was a total of 305 points required and he already had 68 points in total. If the stat points from daily tasks were consistent, he would need seventy-nine days to complete this quest.

With another sigh, while mentally noting that he sighed a lot lately, he stood up from the bath and reached for a towel. Drying himself off, he put the cloth around his waist and drained the bath.

Wiping the wet hand on his towel, he put on the slippers he prepared next to the exit and walked out of the bathroom, entering his room a few seconds later. Digging into his closet, he scrutinized the underwater he had.

... The black one.

He chose the black one, though, it was a close one between black and purple. Suddenly an idea popped into his head and he tossed the underwater inside his inventory. With a press on the icon, he equipped it. Smirking slightly at the ease of it all, he nodded his head in appreciation.

He could now change his clothes in a second without even a bit of effort. At least he got some perks...

He sighed and crouched down, bringing his head to rest on his knees.

"I wanna go home."
