Ridden

All in all Derek was a pretty grateful guy. He liked to think that he was one of those people who did not forget how bad things used to be just because everything was going well. So every morning that he got to wake up, actually waking up after a good night of sleep, Derek was grateful.

He regarded that morning as a good morning. Something that he had to be grateful for. That said, ever since he had begun sharing a bed with Emily and going to sleep every night that he did so. Derek had had himself plenty of good mornings, but he had to admit.

The morning that he was having in that current moment was hands down the best of the best.
