The Noble's Estate

Rin was surprised when she saw Penny's and Kai's home. It was enormous. The walls were white and it seemed that there were 4 stories. They was even a courtyard. Hero could run around and play in the courtyard and adventure everywhere.

" Amazed?" laughed Penny. " Wait till you see the inside" said Kai. Rin was wondering how someone like her could be in a noble's estate. Shaking her head, Rin thought of the bigger problem. Now that she's in their estate, will she meet Penny's parents? How will she greet them? Did they even agree with Penny and Kai's request? Did she dress properly? How did she look?

Nervous, Rin stepped out of the carriage. Penny's parents were waiting for them outside. " Mother! Father!" shouted both Penny and Kai as they ran towards their parents. After hugging them, they turned towards Rin. " Mother, Father, this is Rin the girl who we told you about. Rin, these are my parents." Before Rib could greet the adults, Hero barked and ran towards Penny's father. Hero ran and ran around the two adults before going back to Rin. Confused by Hero's weird behavior, Rin simply picked up Hero and asked," What's wrong,boy?"

Remembering where she was, Rin looked towards Kai's family. "Well, Rin would you like to join our family?" asked Penny's mother. " Yes, please!" answered Rin. Thinking back, Rin didn't know who her real parents were. Her grandfather had found her in the forest crying as a baby. There was no one around that area. Rin had never experienced how it was like to have parents and sibling or any family for that matter. But now she had parents and siblings maybe even cousins and uncles and aunts.

Happy, Rin joined Kai and Penny's family. It turns out that Kai isn't related to the family by blood either. He was picked up by Penny who had found him homeless and hungry when he was around 6 years old. Penny showed Rin where her room is and gave her a tour of the house. Rin wondered how could anyone not get lost in the estate.

The next day, Rin woke up in her room. It was girlish room with pink walls and light pink floors. There were also some dolls in a chest along with some stuffed animals. Ignoring the toys, Rin head towards her closet. She quickly dressed into a plain blue dress with a white rim. She woke up Hero and they left to the dining hall for breakfast. When she arrived, her 'father' was already there. Spotting her, the man said," Rin! You wake up early. Most of the family should still be sleeping." Early? It was already 7 a.m. How is that early?

"Breakfast will be served soon." he continued. "Go wake up your siblings. Your mother should be here soon." After the family woke up, they ate breakfast which consists of bacon and eggs. ( Idk what they ate for breakfast in the olden days all 😅). After that, Rin, Penny and Kai had to get education. Their parents had hired a private tutor for each of them. In the afternoon, they played with Hero in the courtyard. They spent their days happily.

A month after Rin joined the family, a letter came.
