Luis vs August, Part 2

Next, by using my Sky God's Anklets, I'm able to leap high into the air above August. I don't have enough time to create a full Sky God's Katana, but I am able to create a Wind Blade, which I use to slash across August's shoulder as I fall, carving a new deep gash in his body, which squirts up blood.

I then swing my katana towards August again, attempting to fire off another Hurricane Slash, but I find it difficult to channel any more Cursed Power.

Crap, already?!

Panting heavily, I lower my katana as I let the wind circling around it fizzle out. Noticing this, August smirks at me.

"Done so soon?" August teases.

I'm too busy panting to answer. Sure, I can probably just force some more Cursed Power out of me, but that would put too much strain on my body against a strong opponent. It would be wiser to let my Cursed Power replenish naturally.

August spawns three more clones, and sends them charging towards me. I'm too exhausted to channel any more Cursed Power at the moment, so the best I can do is bring my katana up and slash through one of August's clones with a measly swing, causing it to melt back into a useless mound of flesh. Thank God for my Demon-blood enhanced body.

I tussle with August's two other clones for a little while, still not using any of my Cursed Power. Eventually, I manage to slice through these two clones as well, but August spawns another two more clones, which overwhelm my fatigued body and tackle me to the ground, pinning me in place.

"Fūjin, do you remember what I said to you when we first met?" August asks as he slowly begins strolling over to me. I buck and struggle about, attempting to worm my way out of the grip of August's clones, but it's of no avail, they're holding on too tightly. "I said that the two of us are the same, you and I. Do you know what I meant by that?" August asks.

"Yeah…of course I do!" I grunt. "Just get on with it already."

"Great!" August replies as he claps his hands together. "What color are you?"

"What…color am I?" I ask.

"Yeah!" August answers. "I'm the "Red Demon," Death son is the "Black Demon," and-"

"Woah woah woah-" I reply, interrupting August. "You know Daniel?!"

"Of course!" August answers. "I've spared against him multiple times!" August then turns away from me, and sheepishly rubs the back of his neck. "Though I never managed to beat him…"

This causes me to smirk. "Really?" I ask. "Because I have."

August's eyes widen. "Oh…now I really want to fight your half-demon form!" He exclaims. "So then how about it? I'll show you mine if you show me yours?" August winks.

"Hell no!" I snap without a second thought. "I want to get strong to protect the people I care about, and they wouldn't like it if I became a monster along the way!"

"Is that so?" August sighs. "Well…let's see how far you get in life with that attitude. You'll never become truly strong without embracing your natural gifts, your demon power," August continues.

"So it looks like I'll just have to go with plan A, beating the demon out of you."

August's entire body begins shaking and convulsing, in a similar manner as Daniel's did before he entered his Black Demon form. And when I realize what August is about to do, my eyes widen.

He's entering his half demon form.

The veins across August's entire body begin to glow a bright red, contrary to Daniel's Black Veins. August's veins begin to glow red as orange lines outline August's eyes. The whites of August's eyes turn black, and his eyes turn gold with white pupils. Two more muscular arms and legs sprout out of August's body on each side. A second pair of eyes open up under August's first set.

"Red Demon!"

If Daniel resembled a scorpion, then August…is a spider.

"Now…your own half demon form should react to my Red Demon and awaken any second now," August begins to say as he resumes his Red Demon form. "Though I heard you can't control it."

My eyes widen. "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!" I cry. Only Daniel and Mikey should know about my Blue Demon.

"Simple," August smirks. "I have ties with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse."

My entire body tenses up as I grit my teeth. The guy standing in front of me…is affiliated with the Slayer Organization's greatest enemy. The people who killed Mikey's parents and Daniel's mom. Yet…he's also a member of the Slayer Organization? Does the Chairman know this? Just what is that bastard planning…

"Hey now, no need to go hostile!" August laughs as he holds his hands up in surrender. "I just want to see your half demon form."

"And why do you care so badly?" I sneer.

August's laughing smile curls into a smirk. "Because if I kill you, then I can prove that I'm better than the original, that creating me was mother's greatest idea," August explains.

Kill me…better than the original…creating him…? Just what is this guy on?!

"So come on, Fūjin, let your freak flag fly!" August cackles as he charges towards me, his six legs stomping against the ground like a mutated mule.

August aims a mighty Cursed Power Barrier three-armed right punch my way, and I counter by waving a hand upwards, creating a spinning tornado shield around me, which August breaks through easily. August then raises his three left arms, and aims a second Cursed Power Barrier reinforced punch my way, punching me in the face and sending me flying backwards in a burst of red Cursed Power.

August then charges me again, wrapping all six arms around me as August twists his back backwards, driving me into the ground like a wrestler. I feel myself begin to suffocate as sand clogs my nose and mouth. Eventually, August lets go of me, allowing me to pull my head out of the ground, coughing up sand and rubbing the sand out of my eyes.

"Wind Control: Sky God's Anklets!" I shout as I pop off the ground and prepare my Sky God's Anklets, using them to dash forwards and run circles around August. August is slow in his Red Demon form, so maybe, with my Sky God and my speed…I can beat him.

"Flesh Clones: Doppelganger!" August shouts as he spawns a couple of clones to get in the way of my charge, so instead, I leap high into the air above August, bringing my katana above my head and preparing a Sky God's Katana.

"Wind Control: Sky God's Katana!" I shout as I swing my Sky God's Katana down towards August, who counters by bringing his six arms up to block and reinforcing them with Cursed Power, while also adding an extra layer of defensive flesh on top of that. August and I collide in an explosion of Cursed Power, red and blue.

I roar, putting every last bit of strength that I can into my attack, as my Sky God's Katana begins to turn dark blue. August roars back, gritting his teeth and struggling against my own attack, which slowly pushes him backwards.

More...more...MORE POWER!

As my Sky God's Katan pushes August back, he peers up at me and smirks. "Flesh Clones: Cursed Death Zone," he says, and instantly, a rush of pain floods my body, causing me to look around, finding myself surrounded by August's clones, all firing emissions of Cursed Power my way.

That's right. August's flesh mounds can form multiple clones.

Without another word, I slump to the ground, my Sky God's Katana fizzling out. Blood begins to leak out of my body, seeping into the sand, my entire body littered with holes from August's Cursed Death Zone.

August kneels down in front of me. "You'll die if you don't enter your half demon mode, with its regeneration powers," he says to me. "So come on. If you want to beat me, if you want to live, you'll have to use it."

"You've fared against me far better than Kaen did, at least."

That's the last thing I hear before losing consciousness.

"Yeah, well then I'll kick Mikey's ass, too!" I shout. "Huh?"

Looking around, I realize that I'm not where I was before. In front of me are iron bars locked tight, and around me are brick walls and a metal floor which have suspicious, crusty dark red stains splattered about. In front of the iron bars is a cozy looking couch seated in front of a giant flatscreen tv. On the tv, I see a cackling August. My wrists and neck are shackled to the wall behind me in iron chains, and I'm wearing a prison inmate uniform.

"Have you forgotten already?" An ominous voice asks. "Our first meeting was only a few weeks ago.

My demon.
