Jamie, August, and Mercury vs Slayer Hakari

"Let the match begin!" The announcer booms.

"Our opponent is Slayer Hakari, does anyone know what she can do?" Mercury asks. "I don't know much about the Slayer Organization."

"My squadmates fought her back in the Slayer Exams," Jamie exclaims. "Hakari's Cursed Ability is to harden her skin into scales which she can use as remote controlled projectiles, or vibrate to create shockwaves of sound."

"Eh, sounds weak," August says.

"What was that?" Jamie asks as she turns to face August.

"What I'm saying is that you two can hang back for this one. I don't need your help. I can take Hakari all on my own," August answers, causing Jamie to growl at him. "You two don't need to worry your pretty little faces!"

"OH COME ON, ANOTHER MIKEY?!" Jamie shouts. Meanwhile, Mercury blushes at August's compliment.

"I'll show you what I mean, I'm a one man army!" August continues as he spreads both arms out to his sides. "Flesh Clones: Doppelganger!"

When August said that, his flesh begins to bubble and pop outwards, as if something inside of August's body is pushing his skin out from the inside.

August winces as his skin begins to contort, as if his own Cursed Ability doesn't agree with his body.

Jamie cringes, visibly skeeved from August's grotesque display. "What are you doing?!" She snaps.

"Don't worry, it's just my Cursed Ability, Flesh Clones!" August answers as he grits his teeth in pain. "I can create clones of myself molded out of my own skin. I can only give my clones very simple orders, and for the most part, they just kinda watch me and follow along with whatever I'm doing. But when there's a lot of them, we're strong!"

August's flesh continues bubbling, as blobs of skin then drop out of his arms and splat against the ground.

"I think I'm about to throw up…" Jamie groans.

August's mounds of flesh then begin to explain and raise into the air, molding themselves into perfect replicas of August. Perfect replicas, down to each and every minute detail. August has formed eight clones.

"Pretty nifty, huh?" August asks as his clones slowly begin to lumber around August, like zombies.

"Are they gonna do anything?" Jamie sarcastically asks as she raises an eyebrow at August.

"Just wait and see!" August answers, before turning to his clones. "Now, my clone army, move it! Go find our opponent!" August booms. August's zombie-esque clones begin looking around before taking off in every last direction, scouring the arena for Slayer Hakari.

"How will we know when your clones find Hakari?" Jamie asks.

"My clones have a kind of "hive mind." If I give them orders, and one clone figures out how to complete it, the others will flock to him and follow along with whatever it's doing," August explains. "I've tested this out before. We just need to wait for the commotion."

"How many clones can you create?" Mercury asks.

"As many as I need," August answers. "But after a dozen or so, my clones grow weaker and misshapen. It expends too much Cursed Power to make too many clones."

The group's conversation is then interrupted when they hear what sounds like trees falling in the jungle nearby. "That sounds like my clones! They must be fighting Hakari now! Let's go!" August orders as he takes off running towards his clones in the direction where they heard the tree fall.

Jamie and Mercury look at one another, shrug, then take off running after August, struggling to keep up with August' inhuman speed and senses.

After a little bit of running, Jamie and Mercury stop behind August, who's busy watching his clones tangle with Slayer Hakari in the middle of the jungle.

August's clones swarm Slayer Hakari and circle around her, biting, clawing, kicking, doing whatever they can to maim their opponent. In response, Slayer Hrakai swipes her scaled arms and tail around, desperate to get August's clones off of her, but finds herself surrounded and overwhelmed.

August smugly crosses his arms and smirks at his impressive display. "Pretty cool, right?" August asks as he peers over his shoulder at Jamie and Mercury. "With my clone swarming strategy, taking out even Pro Slayers is a piece of cake!"

Jamie and Mercury exchange glances, before taking a step forwards to engage in the combat, but are stopped when August says: "Nuh-uh," and spreads his arms out to his side, and two more mounds of flesh buble out of them, splatting to the ground before molding them sleeves into two more clones of August, which standing Jamie and Mercury's way, not even bothering to turn around and face the two girls

"I already told you two that you are only to observe this match," August orders. "I'm going to win this competition, I need to make my mom proud! And make her realize that creating me was the best choice that she could ever make!"

"Um…you mean…birth you?" Mercury asks.

August turns over his shoulder to face mercury and smirks. "Not exactly," he answers.

"Great, another Mikey indeed," Jamie pouts as she crosses her arms.

Slayer Hakari spins around, swinging her giant, scaled tail towards August's clones, which leap over Hakari's tail with ease, then continue beating on the Slayer.

"Just who are you, kid?!" Hakari asks August as she swings a scaled arm at one of August's clones, which duck under the attack, then counter with a kick of their own. "For every other Junior Slayer in this competition, we were given countless information on them. Name, codename, Cursed Ability, what it does, Squad Captain, etc. But for you and your so-called "sister," we were only given five words. "August, Flesh Clones." And "Winter, Cryokinesis"."

August raises an eyebrow at Slayer Hakari. "Really? That's surprising. I suppose I am still a bit of a secret, afterall," he replies. August's eyes then widen as he covers his mouth. "Oops! I shouldn't have said that! Mom is gonna be mad at me!"

Meanwhile, Hakari's scaled arms and tail finally slam into August's Flesh Clones, sending them flying backwards. August's Flesh Clones then begin "melting," reverting back into simple mounds of flesh.

"Ew…what was that?!" Jamie cries.

"When my Flesh Clones are overloaded with damage, such as multiple broken bones or ruptured organs, I won't be able to maintain their human shape any longer, and they'll revert back into lumps of skin," August explains. "That's what happened now."

"Hah! You may have numbers, but your clones are weak!" Hakari laughs. "They can't even use any Cursed Power Techniques!"

"That's what you think," August smirks as he extends both arms out to his sides. Just as before, mounds of flesh bubble out of August's arms, splatting against the ground before molding themselves into two more clones of August.

"You already expended too many clones to find me, you can't make many more!" Hakari spits.

"Oh, but I can!" August smirks. More mounds of flesh begin to bubble out of August's body, until Hakari finds herself surrounded by about thirty Augusts.

"Huh?" Hakari cries as she spins around frantically, clearly flustered by August's numbers.

"I thought you said that you can only make about a dozen clones?!" Jamie asks. 

"Well look at 'em, some of these are barley clones!" August laughs. "The misshapen ones are weak, but they'll make do."

Jamie peers towards August' clone army, and sure enough, many of the clones still resemble August, while a few are deformed, and these deformed clones aren't able to move around as smoothly as August's other clones.

But even still, strength in numbers.

"Hmm, that's a lot of clones, not bad," Slayer Hakari taunts. "But I have more than enough scales to take care of you!"

Hakari then swings her scaled arms outwards, launching her sharp, green scales off of her body, and sending them flying towards August's clones. But before Hakari's scales can pierce August's clones, their bodies begin bubbling with red Cursed Power, shielding them from the hit.

"They can use Cursed Power Barrier?!" Jamie asks.

"My clones can only use simple Cursed Power Techniques," August begins to explain. "But they're clones. So it's not like Burst, or Hiding, or even Sensing is really going to help them all that much. Plus, my clones can only use Cursed Power Techniques when I can see them and focus my Cursed Power." August's clones circle around Hakari again, bringing their hands together, as a sphere of red Cursed Power begins to form in between the hands of each clone. "But even still…it's good enough to defeat you," August finishes with a smirk, angering Hakari with his taunt.

"Flesh Clones: Cursed Death Zone!"

All at once, August's clones then thrust their hands outwards, sending a laser beam of Cursed Power flying towards Hakari in every direction.

"Even Cursed Power Emission?!" Jamie cries.

"This won't be enough to break through my scales!" Hakari roars as she begins her arms together and reinforces her entire body with her olive green Cursed Power in order to defend against August's attack. August's Cursed Death Zone blasts into Hakari with an explosion of dust and red Cursed Power, and when the explosion subsides, the three can see Hakari soaked in blood and missing most of her scales, only a couple littered around her body remaining.

Hakari coughs from the smoke. "Who is this kid…?"

"See what I mean?" August smirks.

"I'm not done yet!" Hakari roars as she swings her arms outwards. "My strongest attack! Scale Cannon: Clanging Scales!"

The scales across Ahkari's body then begin to vibrate and clang together, emitting powerful shock waves of sound that cause the three Junior Slayers to yelp and drop to the ground, covering their ears with their hands. August's clones begin to emit horrifying screeches of pain before melting back into blobs of flesh.

"Damn…even with Cursed Power Barrier, my ears are killing me," Jamie grunts as blood slowly begins to leak out of the ears of the three Junior Slayers.

"How are we supposed to beat Slayer Hakari now?!" Mercury shouts over the howl of Hakari's clanging scales.

"Don't worry, I have a plan," August begins to say as he clasps his hands around his ears, which are bubbling with red Cursed Power. "Flesh Clones: Transfiguration!" August says, and when August removes his hands from his ears, Jamie and Mercury see that the ear canal has been completely sealed off with a wall of flesh.

Jamie and Mercury cringe at the sight.

"What did you do?!" Jamie asks August, shouting over the howl of Hakari's clanging scales.

August simply tilts his head at Jamie in confusion.

"WHAT DID-nevermind…" Jamie sighs.

August then stands back up and turns around to face Hakari.

Saying nothing, probably because he can't hear anything, August charges Hakari, his fist bubbling with red Cursed Power.

Hakari says something to August, and though she appears distressed, August can't tell what she's saying. Once in front of Hakari, August launches his Cursed Power Barrier reinforced fist forwards, slamming it into Hakari, who -without any more scales to defend herself- is forced to take the brunt of the attack. Hakari lets out a howl of pain (which appears silent to August) then falls out the ground.

Defeated.

When August presses his hands to his ears again then pulls them away, removing the wall of flesh plugging up his ears, he can hear the audience going wild. August turns to face the audience, and, with a beaming smile, begins frantically waving at them. "Thank you, thank you all!" He booms.

"What did you do back there?" Jamie asks as she and Mercury begin approaching August. "That was gross!"

"My Transfiguration. Rather than creating full clones out of my mounds of flesh, I can use them for other purposes, such as adding flesh to my own body to modify it," August begins to answer. August then pulls the right arm that he normally keeps tucked away in his gi and extends it out. "This arm isn't my original arm. I can still channel Cursed Power and whatnot through it, so it's fine, I just have no feeling in my right arm," August finishes, causing Jamie and Mercury to cringe again.

And so, as August, Jamie, and Mercury exit the arena, Slayer Hakari is carried off in a stretcher by a team of Medical Slayers.
