CASTLE INVASION

Author sat in his room and he felt exhausted and he had planned to get a very nice sleep but there was a knock on his door.

Author's POV;

I heard a knock on my door and I hesitantly went to open the door and there Mara stood with her perfect figure. It looked more sexier and tempting this time because she had just her night gown on, which was a light, short blouse.

When Mara saw me this time around she never had that mean look on her face but instead she greeted me with a soft voice and a red face.

I never understood why she was shy but from the look in her eyes, I discovered that she was looking at my bare chest and my abs.

after sometime she tried to compose herself and tried to put on a serious look before she said.

" Author I know that you are not a slave anymore but don't forget the promise you made to serve me with all your heart.

" I will not treat you as a slave but there are some things that you will have to do for me."

After she said this, I thought of the best answer to give her and I came up with this;

" Of course I am a man of my word. I shall serve you faithfully till the end just give me the command."

After I said these words, it prooved to have touched her heart as she gave a very warm smile in return and she wished me good night and her sexy figure turned and went away.

Finally it was time for me to rest and I couldn't wait to do so because for the past few days I had been trekking and sleeping in the forest.

I didn't know when I was snoring but I think it was not long ago when I fell asleep but I was woken up by a strange noise outside my window so I went to take a peek.

When I looked outside I saw two figures wearing dark dresses and carrying swords wich showed that they were Ninger Assassins.

I quickly hid in my wardrobe. The windows at the top floors were less protected wich gave the assassins an easy time entering my room.

The two assassins entered Author's room and he made sure not to make sound where he was hiding because he knew that it could cause him death.

" Hmm you say there were only two people in this mantion and that is the Duchess and her daughter right?" Asked one of the Ningers.

" Yes Master. All the servants usually sleep at the servant's quarters and all the guards are outside.

I know this place very well." Replied the other.

"Very good I am counting on your word. But something about this room is not right, it feels warm here like someone is using this room and too the bed is not in order." Said the Master.

" Don't worry Master, no one else is here apart from the Duchess and her daughter." Said the other.

The two figures left Author's room and they were heading to the room of the Duchess.

Author had made sure that it was safe before he decided to leave his hiding spot. His heart was beating fast and his head was full of confusion.

' They must be heading to the room of the Duchess. What should I do now? I can't let any of them get hurt. They have sacrificed alot for me. Now I must return the favor even if it costs me my life.'

Author decided to overcome his fears and he decided to follow the assassins but first he looked for a knife.

Author had managed to catch up with the assassins as they were climbing the stairs.

He decided that he will catch them off guard but he slipped and fell.

This caught the attention of the assassins and they turned to see what was making the sound. They were supprised to see a young boy with a knife.

" What is this? You said there was no one else in this mantion apart from that Duchess and her daughter so tell me what this boy is doing here?" Asked the master.

" I don't know master maybe he is a relative who came to visit." Replied the other.

" I told you to check well but you are so unreliable." The master changed his focus and he was now looking at Author.

" Hey boy what are you doing here with that knife? Do you think you can stop us with such a weapon and that too all by yourself?" Asked the master.

" I won't let you succeed with what ever the both of you are planning to do even if it means I have to face both of you with just a knife." Author said fearlessly.

" Haha we will see about that."

Both Ningers took out their swords and charged towards Author.

' Oh God now what should I do? Is this how I am going to die?

This is the time I wish I knew how to use my powers.'

Immidiately Author thought about using his magic powers, the crystal in the chain he was wearing lit up and Author could feel that he was gaining energy and everything around him became slower as if time had slowed down.

When the assassins came closer, Author discovered that he could predict where they will hit.

The first Ninger sent his sword forward and Author easily dodged it and gave out a punch wich sent him flying back up the stairs.

The next ninger to attack was the master.

He decided to be cautious and not to make any rash moves.

Author threw his knife away because he suddenly felt comfortable fighting bare handed.

The assassin started attacking but every single time Author dodged perfectly and gave out an attack of his own.

This was frustrating the assassin and so he decided to start attacking wildly and also using every technique he knew but Author dodged all of it.

Author was enjoying his new body and he timed it at the right time and gave out a huge punch on the jaw of the assassin and he was sent flying upstairs too.

' Damnit who would have thought that this people hired a skilled martial arts master?'

The assassin thought as he pretended to be dead.

Author looked up and he discovered that the other assassin was no where to be found, then he heard the voice of the Duchess screaming upstairs.

Author immidiately left the dead assassin and went upstairs at a great speed.
