"Huh!" he replied.

"The one who controls the rebounds, controls the outcome of the game, Sakuragi" Akagi said.

"Yes! Gori!" he replied.

Against Rukawa's defense, he attempted a midrange jumper and it didn't go in.

"So fast, don't rush it! Nagano" Hanagata and Akagi are fighting over for the rebound.

"Sakuragi!" Akagi said.

"Waahhh!" Sakuragi added another rebound to his name.

"His explosive ability is another level." Hanagata said.

"So good! Awesome rebound! Sakuragi." Haruko said.

"His rebounding ability is starting to show..." Coach Anzai said.

"Ha ha ha! I am the genius, Hanamichi Sakuragi!" he said.

Sakuragi passed it to Miyagi, and then thrown it out to the ahead Rukawa and Mitsui.

Mitsui lob it to the trailing Rukawa and hammers down for a slam.

"Wah! They're so fast!"

"Shohoku is leading by one point!"

"Shohoku is freaking awesome!"

"They're coming back from the eleven point deficit!" audience said.

"Shohoku 36 vs. 35 Shoyo, fourteen minutes and two seconds left in the second half" game announcer said.

Fujima felt the sense of urgency to lead the team and take the point guard role.

"Fujima!!" Hanagata said.

"Substitution!" Fujima said to the referee.

"I must report this one to Maki! Shohoku is a wild stallion! Only our team can let Shoyo have this tough match! It really doesn't concern us coz this year Kainan is the strongest ever.

Also they have me; the no. one rookie has joined the team. Reporting! Shohoku has made another comeback!" Kiyota of Kainan said.

"What?" Uozumi said.

"Ryonan? I went to the wrong place..." Kiyota said.

"They're leading now?" Ikegami asked.

"How many minutes left?" Koshino asked.

"Who are you, punk? Are you a spy?" Uozumi said.

"Ryonan isn't worthy for us, Kainan to send a spy" Kiyota said.

"What!" Koshino asked.

"Lil' kid!" Uozumi said.

"I'm Kainan's starter! You better remember! The no. one rookie Kiyota Nobunaga" he said.

"What a cocky brat!" Ikegami and Koshino is ready to throw him out.

"Besides Sakuragi, I never met such rude kid." Uozumi said.

"Did Shoyo's no. four get on the court, Nobunaga-kun?" Sendoh asked.

"He's about to..." he replied.

"Ok! Let's go!" Uozumi said, the whole team went to see the game.

"Let's go!" Maki said, Kainan team went as well.

''Bench warmer coming into the game? So weird... What's goin on here?" Sakuragi is clueless.

"Moron!" Rukawa said.

"The real ace has come down to play!" Hikoichi said.

"Fujima!!! 3x" here comes the loud cheering squad of Shoyo. Fujima came to them, he spank each Shoyo player so they come to senses.

"Don't show such expression! Ryonan and Kainan are watching! Let's go!!" Fujima said.

"Yes!!!" Shoyo players replied.

" Fujima looks calm and compose on the bench but he totally change on the court!"

"His also look like two different people!"

"As a coach, he must keep himself calm but when he's on the court, he throws it all those coaching stuff to the side." Maki said

Fujima took the ball, he drive aggressively to the basket since it was like a runway while other Shoyo players screened for him.

"Swish!!"

"Come on!"

"Nice shot!"

"Fujima!!!" Hanagata said.

"It's too early for Shohoku to advance into the final four!" Fujima said.

"Damn! Pass me ball and I'll shoot over his freaking head!" Mitsui said.

"What!" Rukawa said.

"Interesting!" Miyagi said.

"Let's show them if it's too early for Shoyo to exit the tournament! Let's go!" Akagi said.

Akagi got the ball and went for another gorilla dunk but got defended by three players. The ball bounce over the rim and a chance for a rebound.

"Akagi!!" Kogure shouted from the bench.

"Rebound!!" Miyagi said.

"Genius Sakuragi!! Got it!" he said.

"Yah! Hanamichi!!" Mito said.

"Sakuragi-kun" Haruko said.

Sakuragi didn't expect Fujima stealing the ball.

"Fujima!! Hanagata said,

"Aah! I got stolen by the bench warmer!!" Sakuragi said.

"Go!!"

"Come on! Shoyo!"

"Uwaaah!!" Fujima went alone for the fast break.

"So fast!! Miyagi-san can still keep up w/ Fujima." Hikoichi said.

"Maki and Fujima are famous for being the best PG in Kanagawa! Does Miyagi has the ability to take their spot" Coach Taoka said.

"It's a battle of point guards!!"

"He didn't pass it! Thinking of his height advantage and it's possible to fight me head on." Miyagi thinks as he face Fujima.

"Their height difference is only ten cm., Ryouta should be able to stop him!" Ayako was confident in him.

"Miyagi!!" Fujima arrived in the free throw line, he saw that Miyagi is away for him to shoot and Fujima stopped for a pull-up jumper.

"What!?" Miyagi exclaimed.

Sakuragi couldn't stop himself, he and Miyagi sandwiched Fujima in between them. The three crashes to the floor and the shot was counted plus a free throw.

"It still went in!" Kogure said.

"Fujima!!" Shoyo players quickly help the three to be separated.

"Whoops... You're ok? Mr. Bench warmer..." Sakuragi said.

"You bast***! What kind attitude is that!?" Shoyo surrounded them.

"Stop it! This is nothing!

"Fujima!!" Shoyo players replied.

"Flagrant one foul! Shohoku no. ten!" Referee said.

"You idiotic, Sakuragi! Crushing me to death!" Miyagi vents his anger.

"Not good... it's my third foul already..." Sakuragi said.

"His shot was really hard to predict the timing and he's also aleft-handed..."

"Damn it!" Sakuragi grabbed the ball, not knowing it was still Shoyo's ball and pass it to Miyagi.

"Fweeet!"

"Shoyo ball!" a referee said.

"Shoyo has taken the game in their favor." Uozumi said.

"Let's score another one!" Fujima said.

"Hikoichi watch carefully Fujima's action!" Coach Taoka said.

"Yes, Coach!" he replied.

Fujima attacked left side of the low post, Akagi face him to block his but it was a fake and Fujima pass the ball to the open Hanagata for an easy bucket.

"Shohoku timeout!!" game announcer said.

"All right!!" Shoyo players said.

"Damn...!" Sakuragi said.

This time, it was Coach Anzai that asked for a time out.

"Shoyo is destroying Shohoku's defense w/ slashing and driving to the basket. Using Shoyo's height, Fujima can easily score all bi himself" Hikoichi said.

"W/out Fujima, Shoyo is a different team... they're just another strong team and w/ a super point guard, they become a regular in Interhigh. W/ his guidance, the players able to show their own strength." Maki said.

"Go! Shoyo!" Shoyo fan said.

"Well then, still remember what I said earlier before the game?" Coach Anzai said.

"Of course!! Were the best! Shohoku players said.
