CHAPTER 77: OUTREACH
On the night before the ceremony, Maya remembered the old lady that gave her the flyer of Mr Weeks auditioning session. She immediately got her phone from her pocket and dialled her number, the old lady answered,
"Please who am I speaking to?" The old lady asked.
"It's me Maya, the girl at the bus station," Maya replied excitedly.
"Ohhhhh... Maya, how are you? Did you get in?" She said heartily.
"Yes!" Maya squealed.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so happy for you. Soon you'll get the money you need and make your parents proud." The old lady said, filled with joy.
Maya talked with the old lady via the phone as she wished her luck. After the call, she couldn't sleep. The stylist had given her varieties of dresses to choose from. She was to put on make-up the next day, something she rarely does. Shortly, she slept off.
