Coding Glitch

"Whatever you're planning, do not do it!" An officer tried to shout but it wasn't able to reach the guy on top of the building. The crowd also helped, but their voices couldn't reach the top.

All hopes were lost when the guy on the roof stepped his right foot on the air. I kept my mouth shut, because I know that no matter how much we try our best to prevent him... It's already obvious that there is no one to stop him now.

The moment I closed my eyes, the guy jumped off the rooftop and started to fall towards his death. Plotted? Made up? Huh? Doesn't seem like it's fake. He wanted to end his life, so let's let him be.

I opened my eyes and saw a distorted corpse of a person on the ground. I was about to vomit, but Xeno pulled me out of the scene. "Gaia, let's go! I've seen enough." Xeno told Gaia. She immediately followed behind us without saying a word. We walked away from the scene, ignoring all the screams of disgust and fear.

That incident just now, increased the fear that's inside me. It grew a lot of questions inside my head. I was about to go insane, but then Xeno spoke up.

"That was some crazy sky diving technique back there." He let out a joke, but his tone was obviously filled with dread. "Yeah! I bet all of it was a part of a stunt" Gaia voiced out. Huh?! Are they pretending that it's something else?! If they are...

"You're both wrong, it's actually a test for the new rocket shoes." I went with the flow. The two of them laughed and gave me a satisfied nod. Phew... the uneasiness I'm feeling lately, now disappeared. Still... That distorted body is something I couldn't forget.

"Okay... let's act like we saw nothing, and let's now head to the bookstore." Xeno announced with a proud voice. Oh, I forgot that we still need to head to the book store. Sigh, it would've been better if we didn't notice it. Tch, what had happened, will never be revoked.

"Let's go!" I said and increased my walking speed. The two followed behind me, and we started heading towards the store. We eventually arrived without anything occuring.

"Yo!!! They have the newest volume of my favorite novel!" I shouted with excitement. --That day shall be today-- is one of my favorites. The girl that the main character loved died because of an --accident-- he didn't believe that it naturally occ------ Ooofff, sorry. Anyways, I bought the book and started reading it immediately.

"What's that?" Gaia asked me. "It's the novel created by my favorite author" I eagerly answered. She looked satisfied by my answer, and she went to grab the first volume of the book I just recently introduced to her. Ehh? I guess she's interested about it.

"Hey guys, what book did you purchase?", Xeno asked us. I answered with "The best book ever." He laughed and gave me a warm smile. Gaia told us to wait, but then something strange happened... Again!!!

"Ujsudijsksndhjakaisisjsksksksksk, wai---iwieieiernririrkalalsn" A loud voice resonated around the book store. I look around, but saw nothing that could cause such sound.
