Chapter 11-Pursuit

Almost a year and a half had passed since we last saw our Protagonist. He had endured months of harsh physical training, forcing him to adapt to his new life.

"Your getting deployed tomorrow morning...how do you feel?" Asked Dr. Zimmerman.

Andreas replied, "I've been working towards this for a long time now. You'd think I'd be anxious or even excited...but honestly, sir," He gazed off into the distance, "I don't feel anything."

The doctor chuckled. "You don't seem to be feeling very much lately." He said as he glanced at the boys arms, covered in bloody bandages.

"Your right..." said the boy.

"Ahem!", The bald man cleared his throat. "During your deployment, we do have a set of tasks the Company would like you to assist them with."

"Please don't tell me I have to gather plants or something boring like that." Andreas said while giving a sassy yet sharp glare in the baldmans direction.

"Nothing quite like that," The bald man stated, "on the contrary, they would like you to capture a few different species of beasts."
