Studying and researching

Hoseki continued his study on medication under Tsunade. As he had the tome of knowledge about medical, his starting point was much higher than normal medical ninja.

As he was on the first month he already revise many method of treatment and found many simple way to do it, especially when Hoseki implement his fuinjutsu to improve his treatment method. His way of thinking and improvement impressed tsunade very much as she immediately took him as her assistance.

On the same time, he kept on sign in on various of place in the village. To him, sign in on one or two star were better than wasting time to find a higher grade place as he hardly saw any 3 star or above anymore.

The emerged of zetsu reminds Hoseki on how important to increase his own strength instead of wasting time to find higher grade sign in place. Of course he was glad as he found 2 or 3 star but he didn't put important to it as much as his training and study.

One would say, if strength was important, why did he wasted his time learning medicine instead of solely training his own strength? Hoseki gave himself the answer which was the 3rd shinobi war was approaching. Hoseki understood that with his only personal strength, he might not able to help much with his current strength. But with increasing the standard of medical ninja in the village, he could reduce the lost that Konoha might face in the future. Besides, he never reduce his own training routine.

A year had passed.

Hoseki and Kakashi receiving their rank after successfully passed the chunin exam.

[Congratulations. You have been promoted to chunin rank.]

"???" Hoseki was surprised with sudden upgrade. He saw a gift box in his storage after the announcement ended.

Ignoring the announcement, he continued with the ceremony to receive the rank.

Not far from them was Guy clenching his fist as he failed to pass the exam.

"I will train harder. I might a step behind but my youth will never lose to them." Guy steeled his determination to passed the next exam.

Beside him was Duy. Seeing his son determination, he encourage him with his "Youth" speech.

"Hahaha. Tatsuya san. You are one lucky man. Both of them graduate at the same time. Come lets have some lunch. I won't shy away from good food." Minato laughed as he found Tatsuya watching the ceremony.

Minato grinned as he walked towards Tatsuya.

"Tch. Since when did you arrive?" Tatsuya pouted as he saw Minato walked to him.

"Open!" sitting in his house, Hoseki was opening his gift box.

{Congratulations. You have received a Soul sword and Constitution pills (Advance) }

Hearing the prize names, Hoseki curiously see the description of his gift.

*Soul Weapon

- A special weapon bound to one's soul.

- Choose a weapon to be bound

- Special attributes will be granted after binding process.

*Constitution pills (Advance)

- Increase the body endurance and stamina

- Increase the recovery rate

Seeing the effect of the pill, Hoseki immediately popped it into his mouth.

"Hmm. That's it?" After eating the pills, he didn't feel anything except for a bit shiver. Learning his lesson from the first time, he sure there must be some effect that he didn't feel yet.

After some training, Hoseki understood the effect of the pills. It was literally the same as it's stated. Hoseki felt his body can endurance a longer and harder training. He also can recover his strength and chakra faster than usual.

After some thought, he decided to increase his training intensity.

At night.

Hoseki lied on his bed and opened his storage.

Seeing the item in the list, he choose his new present. Soul Weapon.

[Please choose a weapon to be bound as Soul Weapon]

Hoseki took out Dark Ghost and selected it to be bound.

"Yes" affirmed Hoseki

The Dark Ghost immediately disappeared and enter the system in binding mode.

Closing the progress bar, Hoseki went to sleep.

The next few days, Hoseki was surprised when found that he can re-sign in his old 3star spots and the gains from 2 star and 1 star had been double from before.

However, the 4 and 5 star wasn't included to be re-signed in.

"So, this was the upgrade benefits. It's a pity I can't sign in at those 4 and 5 star anymore." Hoseki mumbled as he walk away from village gate.

Hoseki went on to the to Kushina house as he had started to restart his lesson with her.

After the village agree to buy his CT at high price, Hoseki reeked a lot of profit from them.

Using the profit from the selling CT, he used them to fund his handcuffs project and bought high quality material for his research and experiments.

While Kushina had excuse herself from the project, he still went to her house to attend lessons and and received some new fuinjutsu scroll from her.

As he had a lot of knowledge, creating the handcuffs was a hard project to complete. Sometimes, Hoseki thought to stop it as it won't profit much for him in the future.

While knowing they will have many benefit for the village, this handcuffs will also have their own harmful side. And Hoseki plan for the counter it won't profit him that much. But still, He determine to complete this project for his own future plans.
