48 Sakumo's Decision

Sakumo slept for three days straight before waking up.

Hoseki who had been waiting for him to wake up immediately stop his training. He entered the hut to meet Sakumo.

"Uncle. I... I am... " Hoseki sat down in front of Sakumo. He was suddenly losing his word to speak.

"You've worked hard. It's all thanks to you, I am still alive." Sakumo understood Hoseki predicament. This nephew of his was gambling with his own uncle life.

It was a lie if Hoseki said he didn't feel guilty with his decision even though he was desperate to save Sakumo.

The seed he fed to Sakumo was tormenting him for 24 hours nonstop. Hoseki saw Sakumo suffered in front of his eyes. If Sakumo died after that, Hoseki would be deeply regret.

Looking at his nephew, Sakumo pat on his shoulder.

"I understand the decision you had made. You don't need to feel guilty about it. If it's not for your efforts, I would be sent to underworld already."

"However, what with this unfamiliar feeling about my body?" Sakumo felt a different type of power inside his body. His body kept on changing its properties from time to time.

"It's a kind of bloodline power. The thing I fed you last time was called the Seed Of Steel. The person who eat it will be granted a new type of power to his body. A steel body." Hoseki tried his best to explain in a few short sentence.

"Bloodline? So this is bloodline power?"

Sakumo asked for a Kunai and stab his arm while tried to control his new got power.

Seeing the kunai didn't pass through his skin he was impressed by his newborn body.

"This new body is great. It seems the torment I faced last time, didn't just give me back my life but also a great power with it." Sakumo commented.

"The seed was supposed to be taken with preparation. I was thinking to give it to uncle the moment it was completed, but you went for mission before I get the chance to... " Hoseki said before he stopped immediately.

"Completed? So it was not by chance you get this seed." Sakumo immediately caught Hoseki secret.

"You have been thinking to give it to me immediately after it was completed. Knowing you, you wouldn't make that decision if you didn't have a spare for you.

This bloodline seed, you at least have one more with you right?" Sakumo smiled towards Hoseki.

Hoseki sighed and took out one more seed in his possession.

"I need to have a strength of a Jounin before consuming it." He explained after placing it back in his pocket.

"You should. The suffering you will face at least need to have strong mental strength at that level. Make sure you completely prepared before did that." Sakumo nodded and agreed with Hoseki.

"Let's talk about the serious matter. Uchiha Madara." Hoseki took out a new topic to discuss.

Sakumo immediately frown when he heard the name. When he was about to be killed, the person who did it said the name.

"Let's meet the Hokage sama first and discuss it." Sakumo said.

"No! The fact you are alive shouldn't be revealed. If it was known to Hokage.."

" Hoseki!" before Hoseki finished his words, he was cut off by Sakumo.

"You told me you believed him. I understand how you are hardly told him any secret you have because of Danzo and the roots.

But you should know, Hokage sama also have his own means when doing his job. Just because he tolerated to Danzo behaviour didn't mean he will told him everything. Have some trust on him.

I have been beside him for years. Of course he had some bad decision sometimes, he is human afterall. But, that doesn't meant you should underestimate his responsibility as a hokage." Sakumo tried his best to convince his nephew.

Hoseki closed his eyes and sat in silence. He was in deep thinking whether to agree with Sakumo or not.

After short while, he let out a heavy breath.

"Even if uncle said so, I still didn't agree to include hokage sama in this. It is not about trust, but the danger it will cause if Hokage sama decided to take some drastic move. He was the one who lived during the era when Madara was rampaging. The trauma of how powerful Madara was might cause him to make a rush decision.

I will assist him in future as much as I could but not this. The fact you are alive must be kept in secret until we understand Madara intentions. Even.. Even to Kakashi. At least for now." Hoseki spoke his mind. Although he know what Madara's plan was, he couldn't just bare it to Sakumo out of nothing.

"You..." eventually both of them didn't want to give up on their idea and went into heated discussion.

After a long discussion, Sakumo finally agree to kept the secret and decided to travel the shinobi world to investigate madara. As he had no clue where to begins, he decided to started a new pesona.

Hoseki passed him an A grade vest to assist him in his journey.

At the same time, Hoseki also saw his power point. " At this point, I need a few years before the lake is going to be completed. Haizzz.. 400 points per day simply not enough." he scratched his head and get everyone out of Pluto.

When Hoseki saw Guy was fighting with Kakashi on the hill, he just smiled. After Sakumo's "death", Hoseki was too busy to find a cure for Sakumo and neglected his cousin who was having hard days.

Fate still come for Kakashi, Guy is the one who was cheering all those days.

"Oi oi. Having fun without me?" Hoseki shouted after he arrived beside them.

Kakashi and Guy turned to Hoseki. They nodded to each other and immediately lunged toward Hoseki.

"Damn it. Can't I have some warm up?" being attacked by both of them suddenly, Hoseki was sent flying before stood up and proceed to fight them.

They were fighting until evenings.
