27. Arrangements

While both of them against the idea of putting Hoseki and other two in a team, Homura and Koharu didn't gave any opinion about the roots.

"Alright, I will not put them in a team. However to gives one of them to you is not a good idea Danzo unless you request for that Guy kid as a root." Hiruzen give his decision and rejecting Danzo request.

"No, the Guy kid can't do it. He lack of prospects as a root members. And his characters too. If I guess right he cannot even be an anbu in future. His strength is good but not his character. I need one of Hatakes." Danzo spoke his request.

"Then you will ask for trouble. The Hatake clan had fought the village for a long time. Beside they never vie for political standing. And now their clan has reduced to small members. To force them, you should ask for Sakumo face. I guess you know how hard it is going to be." Hiruzen refused Danzo again.

"Besides, you should already knew where new orphans policy that Kushina asked, came from."Hiruzen add more salt.

"Tch...." Danzo said nothing more and keep his mouth shut.

Hiruzen stood and say, "Then It is decided. They will be put in different team and I shall decide whose team. And for the Roots, you should asked HIM yourself "

Then, Hiruzen left the room.

The next day.

Hoseki, Kakashi and Guy were called to a room to be introduced to their team leader.

" Hoseki and Kakashi, both of you shall have a chance to have a look and learn A rank techniques as a prize for winning the match yesterday." Tetsuya announced the winner and the prize for last match.

"The hokage office had decided to put you in relief force until you are sent into a team." Tetsuya inform them.

"Relief force? Aren't three of us the only one graduated this year? Why don't put us in a team. Didn't teacher told us that we will be assigned into teams after graduate? What is relief force? What will we do? Did we get mission in the force? " As usual, when his brain start to turn on, Hoseki will enter the question machine gun mode.

As for Tatsuya, he had his share of experienced it before as he was one of the Hoseki ex-supervisor.

This rapid questions need to be answer by its 'core' and short. He knows the longer he answer the longer the next question will come.

In the end Hoseki, Kakashi and Guy got simple answer. They are the back up shinobi. They are always on stand by. And their team will be decided later and they need to wait for the next call.

Kakashi understand the arrangements. While Hoseki had a few doubt but he didn't know how to ask and just accept it for now.

As for Guy, he is quite simpleton. For him, he need to continue to train until the next call. That all.

With his graduation, the restrictions on Hoseki to study with Kushina was lift off.

So, Hoseki decided to continue to learn from Kushina. With his firm foundation, study from Kushina is easier than before.

As for Kushina, she didn't have to takes her time to explain more on Hoseki.

Kushina decided to not continue any of their project and task Hoseki to complete them in future. In truth, she had less interested into the project.

However, Hoseki keep on going to Kushina house to seek for more knowledge and new seal development.

Time pass forward.

Three months after his graduation, Hoseki confirmed that he won't be send to any task or to form any team before the next graduate batch come out.

Seeing his long holiday will not yet stop, Hoseki decided to sneak out off village to form his first seed.

During the three months period, he did his own research on mine ore. The results showed that there were a few exhaust mine that have been closed due to not able to produce any more.

There were also some collapse mine that was left behind and considered too dangerous and cannot longer be mined.

Hoseki decided to find these mines and test his luck to form a steel seed.

After informing Kushina that he was not going to attend her lesson for sometimes due to his 'training', Hoseki does some preparation for his journey.

Hoseki seek some spice and ingredients for his cooking material and some tools for his journey. After receiving the knowledge of a chef, he practiced everyday to cook for himself and taught Kushina some of his recipes.

So, no one suspect anything when Hoseki suddenly bought a bulk of ingredients as they were already thinking it as normal routine.

After seal all his equipment, tools and all his ingredients, Hoseki took out his S rank vest and started to sneak out of village.

He felt how convenient the vest was. During his journey to leave the village, he was never be detected by anyone including the sensor ninja.

Even if he crossed another ninja on his way, no one ever realized that he was there. He was practically invisible from any living creatures.

Hoseki opened his map to confirm his first mine location. He estimated to reach it in a few days and find spot to camp for the night.

After cooking for his dinner, he went for a sleep on a tree with his vest on.

The next day, Hoseki woke up and see his invisibility was off. However his camouflage from sense was still on. After changing his vest into A grade, he had another look at his S grade vest

And see a cool down count on his vest. Clicking at the cooldown. Hoseki saw another notice

Note: the vest will automatically close invisibility and goes into cooldown after 20 hour continuous used.

After seeing the notice he understands that the camouflage of the vest is continuous but the invisibility was not.

However the notice didn't effect any of Hoseki's plan as he continued his journey.

"The next one then." without wasting time he left the mine and went for the next one.
