Liam's voice was filled with sincerity as he spoke, "I promise to help  Alric when I am strong enough to make a difference."

Zalya's gaze moved between the two men, "I see, you really haven't given up Alric, you even find a way to rope him into your quest."

Alric met her gaze, "Zalya If you had endured what I've been through, would you just give up?"

Zalya took a deep breath, "It's not that simple, Alric."

Liam, sensing the tension, tried to divert the topic, "We've all been through a lot. What are your plans moving forward?"

Determination burned fiercely in his eyes, Alric responded, "With this new Ascension Path, I will train hard. I must be ready when the time comes to find my twin."

Zalya let out a deep sigh, her face creasing with concern. "Looks like I'm going to be pretty busy, I need to take care my stupid friend." 

She then glanced over at Irys. "You're with us, right?"

Irys smiled warmly, "Of course, Zalya."
