And, The Balance Was Restored.

"Freya?"

"Father…?" Freya Mikaelson had felt as if she would never see her father, ever again.

"We have to go, Freya." Caroline told her. "Please…"

"Father…" Tears appeared in her eyes. As if she couldn't hear Caroline anymore.

"Freya?"

Caroline couldn't wait for her. She could hear footsteps.

"We are going! Freya!" Niklaus started to run.

"Freya!" Caroline shouted. "It's us or him!"

"Choose!" Elijah urged her.

"Now!" Klaus said roughly.

Mikael came towards his daughter. He saw the child in her hands.

"My grandson!" Tears welled up in his eyes.

Caroline shook her head angrily. He hated the girl in front of him. He hated that he had thought of her as Freya. He hated the baby in her arms.

Freya looked at her father whom she hadn't seen in a long time. And her siblings.

"I'm sorry, Father." She said,

She had to choose her siblings. Her sister-in-law. Her niece. To defeat Dahlia, and to protect Isabella. She had to choose them.

"I choose them." She followed her siblings. "I was sold away. I was never supposed to be here, was I?."

Her last words stung Caroline. "I was never supposed to be here."

That was it! She remembered Tatia Petrova's parting words to her. She ran back inside followed by Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson family. Esther Mikaelson was drinking water, Caroline crept up behind her, her hand pushed through her body and held her beating heart. She took it out.

"What did you do?" Rebekah gasped.

"I don't...know." Caroline turned around, her hands covered with blood.

After a few seconds, they all blacked out.

(NOTE: I couldn't settle on a particular ending for this story, so i made a few.)

(ONE)

Caroline Forbes sat up in bed after a long long sleep. It had been a long sleep because the witches let the Mikaelsonz sleep for a long time to correct the imbalance of the time.

She looked around. It was the Mikaelson compound. She stood up and came outside.

"We thought we'd let you sleep in, love." Klaus smiled.

He was standing on the floor.

"We?"

She wasn't sure whether what had happened was real or not. She looked at a blue bassinet in the corner and a pink one right next to it.

"It was real!" She whispered, her eyes went to the golden ring she was wearing.

Klaus picked the small baby up.

"It was real." He heard her, "We were real."

Caroline ran downstairs and hugged him.

"I know I should hate your mother for doing this." She whispered. "But, I love it."

"And, I love you." He whispered back. "And her."

(TWO)

The Mikaelsons slept for a thousand years to restore the balance of time.

"Was it real?" Caroline whispered. "Was it….?"

Klaus was standing over her, she took his hand and stood up.

"One way to find out, Caroline."

"What?" He didn't answer, but she followed him as he directed her into the other room. At the end of the room was a bassinet.

"Is she….?" Caroline asked. "Is she in there?"

It was an odd question, but she had to ask. A cry rose into the air and she saw a baby girl stand up by pulling herself up. Caroline quickly picked up.

"Oh my god, sweetie." Caroline touched her cheeks softly. "My little beauty…"

"Welcome to the twenty-first century, Isabelle." Klaus smiled. "My little wolf."

Caroline laughed softly. The rest of the Mikaelson had come into the room.

"We have new Mikaelsons to welcome into our family." Elijah told them. "Caroline, Isabelle and Caleb…and new promises to share."

"Actually, they are old promises." Kol came towards Caroline, and took the baby from her hands. "Just new people included in it."

"Of course," Elijah nodded.

"So, Isabelle." Rebekah took the baby from Kol. "the thing is, we Mikaelsons always stick together."

"Always," Klaus got a chance to hold his daughter for the first time in a thousand years. "My little wolf, and forever."

"Always and forever." The voice echoed in the room.

(THREE)

Caroline Forbes woke up in the house where the Mikaelsons were lying around her.

"Was it real?" Caroline asked frantically.

"No!" Esther Mikaelson looked at her. "You did this yourself! If you had just not killed me….you would have a nice life!"

"And, my daughter?" Caroline whispered.

"There was no daughter." Esther told her. "No baby.."

"No…." Caroline took a step back.

Klaus held her from the back.

"She died when you killed me."

"No…"

"You killed her!" Esther shoved a finger in her face.

"No…" Caroline couldn't say anything else.

"How could you do this to us!" Elijah shouted."How could you….?"

"Don't you turn on me!" She shouted. "Okay! It is all Niklaus' fault!"

"No, it isn't!" Klaus said angrily. "But this is."

"No…she can't.." Caroline was reduced to tears. Klaus held her closely.

"It's the fault of 'always and forever!'" She shouted.

"No, but this will be." Elijah pushed his mother into the wall, and in a moment he pulled her heart out.

The Mikaelsons looked shocked. Everybody expected Klaus to make that move.

Caroline's crying echoed in the room, Freya felt as if someone killed her. Klaus held her tightly, her face buried in his shoulder, he wiped the tears off his face fiercely.

They all watched as the greying body of Esther Mikaelson fell on the ground.

(FOUR)

"Klaus?" Klaus Mikaelson opened his eyes after a long time. "Klaus?!"

Caroline was sitting next to him on the bed.

"Hey…." He looked at her, "I have to ask…..was it? I mean…?"

He had no idea how to ask if all of it was real.

"Was it real?" Caroline said, "Isn;t that what you want to ask?"

She took his hand and turned it over. His eyes fell on the golden ring on his left hand.

"And….about the…."

A cry from next room answered his other question. Klaus Miakelson and Caroline Forbes stood in the doorway, looking at the baby girl, Isabelle, pulling herself up.

"All real." She smiled.

"I mean I hate my mother." Klaus told her, "But, this might be the best thing she ever did to me."

"I know, right." She smiled at him. "I hate her but she just gave us the most beautiful gift ever."

(FIVE)

Damon and Elena had spent a great time trying to find her. But, there was only so much they could do when she was a vampire. After a little more than a year, she returned. Damon found her sitting on her mother's porch, drained off blood.

He brought her back to his house, Elena was petrified to see Caroline like this. She kept murmuring,

"Klaus….Klaus can bring her back." She said repeatedly. "I want her…Klaus knows where she is."

"Who?" Elena sat next to her, holding her hand. "Who is she?"

"She has to be real." She whispered, "Alive."

"Who, Caroline, who?" She asked again.

"Klaus knows, he knows." She sat up. "Just find him."

"Okay..okay." Elena pushed her back gently. "I will find him! I promise."

She had made a promise but there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't do anything. Klaus's phone wasn't working. And, if Klaus Mikaelson didn't want to be found, no one in the world could find her. She sedated Caroline, forcing her to rest.

Caroline sat in her room the next day when Elena came in her room.

"Caroline…There is someone here to see you."

"Klaus?" She asked.

Elena nodded. She ran out of the room before Elena even blinked. She ran outside as a car stopped in front of the house. Klaus Mikaelson stepped out, his eyes bloodshot as if he hadn't slept. Because he hadn't.

"Klaus!" She hugged him. "Where is she? Alive? Where is she?"

"WHO?" Elena and Damon shouted together.

They had been hearing Caroline talking about 'her' for hours. Still, they had no idea who it was.

"Isabelle!" They replied together.

"Tell me, Klaus." She turned towards him. "Do you where Isabelle is? Is she even….."

She wanted to say, alive or real.

The witches had dispersed the Mikaelsons across the world as they waited out the imbalance of time made by Esther Mikaelson.

"Alive." Klaus wrapped his arms around her. "Safe. In New Orleans with Elijah and Kol."

"Alive." Caroline whispered as a single tear ran down her cheek and a big smile appeared on her face.

Her daughter was real.

Alive.

Safe.

And in where she belonged.

In New Orleans.

This concludes all of my Klaroline stories for now. See you next time.
