Chapter 20: LEADING THE DEFEANCE

General puts a camping backside of the village Shiva allots Karthik and Henry to investigate every hour in the village.

Sun started to set Karthik and Henry informs that there is many children's and women's are there and majority of the young men's and women's are already injured.

Shiva orders everyone in the village go inside the house and lock it from inside and make light face towards doors and window to prevent the strayed shadow rats from entering the door and windows.

Shiva and others are waiting for the strayed shadow rats the sun fully sets.

The rats started to appear again and attacks the soldiers in the backside, east and west.

Now the Strayed shadow rats starts to rampage toward the front side of the village Shiva orders soldiers to open the gate of the village fence.

Everyone in the village it was shocked by the order given by the crown prince Shiva Adam asks Shiva to reconsider about his decision but Shiva orders them to open the gate.

Shiva sits on the chair everyone is getting ready to face the Strayed shadow rats and

panicked when they looked at their numbers Shiva orders the 30 soldiers to go outside the gate and orders them to kill every strayed beast that marching towards the front gate.

Shiva orders Karthik to go to the backyard and know the information about the situation there and Henry to east and Naina to the west.

Shiva asks the how many archers are at present here.

Riyaz answers there are 5 presents here Shiva orders them to use their skills and kill the one that changes its direction.

According to the plan the 30 soldiers stopped the shadow rats but little by little the shadow rats start to push the soldiers back

Shiva orders them to get back and orders other soldiers to go front there Shiva repeated this process for quite some time his strategy was success they were able to stop the attack on that night.

On the morning General Advara and the injured soldiers came and looked at the village

and shocked by not even one of the strayed shadow rats entered the village and all soldiers were not much injured and they don't look very tired.

He called a soldier and asks "What happened here?" the soldiers answers "Our crown price defended the village with his strategy and minimized the loss of the soldiers.

He was a genius strategist." General asks the soldiers how many did attack the village. The soldiers everyone answers "A big army attacked still sun rises."

After hearing this general was shocked because at the backside of the village only a 100 strayed shadow rats attacked them but an army of them attacked from the front.

When he asks other two side of the village were safe guarded by the 10 soldiers each side and were stopped the one trying to enter the village which most of them was stopped by the fences.

General Advara goes and meets Shiva and enquires him about his health he says "I didn't fight yesterday our soldiers did it.

And you know what my assumption was right they were sent to the village intentionally. "General asks with a shocked face "Who dares to do such a crime?"

Shiva says the culprit will show their weak point soon we need to stop today's beast's wave.

Shiva tells General to hunt the strayed shadow beasts instead of defending they need to reduce the numbers today so we can make the masterminds behind this attack to show up.

So, he wanted the general to go all out on them today. General request Shiva to return to the castle.

Shiva laughs and tells him he won't go to the castle and tonight like the general storming at the backside of the village

Shiva is going to do the same on the front side of the village General strongly opposes him it may be very dangerous.

General Advara tries to convince Shiva but he was adamant on participating todays fight.

Now another general Balder comes here by receiving the message of Shiva and Shiva explains the situation to general Balder.

General Advara asks general Balder to go to the backside of the village and explains him today's plan. He gets ready to fight with the crown prince.

Now Shiva was coming out of the meeting place when the soldiers saw the crown prince came out of the meeting place every soldier stranded up and

waiting for the order of the crown prince behind him two generals were with him.

Shiva starts his speech when the sun started to set "Look everyone we faced a hug army of strayed beast and defended this village.

So today we are going to do the same but when I give signal,

we will launch a full fledge attack on them I will be leading the troop at the front today.

Let's rampage every strayed beast that shows up before us tonight." When he said it, the soldiers were goose bumped.
