"Fate..."
Kaylon's golden eyes glowed more intensely after hearing about the world the consciousness had found.
Just imagining that vast world, full of so many interesting things, made Kaylon very excited.
"Well, it seems solving Aina's problem will be much easier than I thought."
With the resources of the world of Fate, he didn't have to worry about finding a cure for Aina.
"Prepare the Tunnel, we'll leave today," Kaylon communicated his thoughts to the consciousness as he walked toward Riveria to organize the expedition.
...
"So, what world do you think we're going to now?"
A man with brown hair and green eyes asked as he looked at the bags being organized for departure.
"I'm not sure, Paul. Riveria-sama said she'd tell us on the way," a woman with dark skin and animal ears replied to Paul as she packed some weapons into her backpack.
"Ghislaine, do you think this will be a long trip?" Paul asked as he grabbed some potions and put them into his backpack.
"Judging by the amount of luggage we're taking, it doesn't seem like it's going to be a long trip."
There were only a few bags carrying clothes, weapons, potions, and essential items.
Considering the small amount, Ghislaine thought it shouldn't be a long journey.
"Hehe, I'm already longing for this new world. It's a shame Lilia, Zenith, and the girls can't come; otherwise, it would be a perfect trip."
Paul was very excited when he heard the family would be heading to a new world. However, when he learned that only elite members could go, part of his excitement faded.
"Riveria-sama said the new world could be dangerous; it would be risky for Zenith and the others to come."
"I understand, I just feel bad leaving them behind."
Paul understood Riveria's decision, but for him, it was a bit distressing to leave his family while he went off to "have fun."
"Maybe after we know the new world better, Riveria-sama will allow the rest of the family to follow us."
Sensing Paul's mood, Ghislaine tried to console her old friend.
"Hehe, what you're saying makes sense, Ghislaine. So, let's hurry up and explore the new world so I can enjoy it with my family."
Paul's mood improved slightly, and he began packing the rest of the items faster.
"You've changed a lot, huh..." Ghislaine murmured quietly, watching her old friend as he increasingly became a more dependable man.
If it were the old Paul, he would never have considered his family in matters like this.
Now, Paul paid more and more attention to his family's feelings, even the most trivial ones.
"What did you say?"
"There's another batch of potions to bring; I'll go get them."
"Oh, I see."
...
"So in that world, there are several items with the ability to cure Aina, Kami-sama?"
Riveria, who was organizing her belongings, asked Kaylon with a hint of concern.
"You don't need to worry, little Riveria. There are many items that can cure Aina; it won't take long to grab one and return," Kaylon waved his hand dismissively as he grabbed a few bottles of liquor from his shelf and put them in his backpack.
Kaylon didn't take Aina's healing problem seriously. In the worst case, he could simply drag her to another world and heal her with divinity.
Of course, that would leave traces, and then he would surely have to argue with Gaia.
However, Kaylon didn't see the need to go to such extremes. It was certain that the world of Fate had objects capable of curing Aina.
The image of a character with an arrogant golden glow came to mind, bringing a smile to Kaylon's face.
Without worries, Kaylon continued tossing bottles into the backpack.
"Do you really need to bring that much alcohol?" Riveria, seeing the sixth bottle go into the bag, complained.
"What if the alcohol there doesn't satisfy me? How will I live then?"
Kaylon had no idea if the modern world had wine comparable to the wine of the God Soma, so just in case, he preferred to bring his own.
"I just hope you're not becoming an alcoholic," Riveria sighed with resignation but still looked at Kaylon seriously and warned him.
"Hmph, I would be a pathetic god if I fell into such a low vice as alcohol," Kaylon scoffed with disdain. Alcohol was just a small "hobby."
"By the way, Kami-sama, do you plan to recruit anyone from that world?" Setting aside her future worries about enrolling her god in Alcoholics Anonymous, Riveria asked.
"There are many talents in that place, and if we want to take the best, we'll need time. So for now, it's better to focus on the goal of curing Aina. If we meet someone interesting along the way, we might extend the invitation."
There were too many possible members in the world of Fate, and bringing them all might overwhelm his family. Therefore, he planned to choose only the best of the best, and such a selection took time.
"Umu," with a simple nod, the obedient Riveria accepted her god's plan.
"By the way, Riveria, don't forget to bring your sexy pajamas. I don't want cold nights."
"Kami-sama, you!"
"Hehe, are you embarrassed, little elf? Don't worry, I'll pack them for you."
"Ugh, I'm leaving!"
"HEHEHE"
...
"...Hey, you idiotic elf, do you have any idea what world we're going to?"
The soft and calm voice of a beautiful woman echoed through one of the workshops in the family mansion.
"Alfia, you violent woman, could you try speaking like a human? I remind you that I'm your vice-captain!" Veins appeared on Elinalise's forehead as she responded to her arch-nemesis, Alfia.
"Hmph, unless you surpass me in strength, don't even dream of me calling you vice-captain obediently," Alfia snorted with disdain, glaring at Elinalise with her usual look of contempt.
"You...! But you still call Riveria-chan 'captain,' and she's weaker than you," Elinalise tried to reason with Alfia, hoping to make her feel ashamed.
"I remind you that Captain Riveria is still much stronger than you, and for the record, Captain Riveria earned my respect without it having anything to do with strength," Alfia replied naturally, continuing to look at Elinalise with disdain.
"Forget it. I don't feel like arguing with you anymore."
Seeing that her goal wasn't met and the violent woman wasn't ashamed at all, Elinalise continued organizing the supplies for the excursion with resignation.
"Aren't you going to answer my question, stupid elf?" Alfia asked again, dissatisfied.
"I have no idea, now get lost!" Elinalise waved her hand dismissively, angrily shooing Alfia away.
"Tch, as always, a useless elf." Walking out of the workshop, Alfia left in a huff.
...
"A new world... I'm really curious about it."
As she walked toward the courtyard of the house, Alfia couldn't help but feel a bit excited for the first time in a long while.
When she first learned of the origins of the other family members, she was quite shocked. Even with her vast knowledge, she never would have imagined that her God could do something so outrageous.
Since then, knowing that her God could jump to new worlds, Alfia had secretly longed for it.
Now, she finally had the chance, so she didn't hesitate to lower herself to seek information from that stupid elf Elinalise.
However, it was fruitless, as the stupid elf refused to share any information, even when she herself had stooped to ask in person.
"Hmph, I'll find out sooner or later anyway." Walking toward the family's gathering point, Alfia dismissed the idea of getting information.
"I wonder if there are strong people in that world."
With high expectations, Alfia walked a little faster toward the meeting point.
...
"Hey, you bastard, it's time to open the portal, and this time do it carefully!" Kaylon spoke to his consciousness, looking back at the members who would be traveling this time.
This expedition only allowed elite members due to its danger, so only high-level members would attend.
Leading the group, of course, was his little Riveria. Behind her was the ever-loyal Alicia, and to her right stood Elinalise, while to her left was Alfia, who looked much more energetic today.
Further back were Eris, along with Rudeus and Ghislaine, and to the right were Riveria's pupils, Sylphiette and Roxy.
They were also accompanied by Paul and Talhand.
This was the lineup for this expedition; the rest would stay behind to guard the family's residence.
[Wait a minute! Do you think I don't have other things to do?] The consciousness, swimming peacefully through the infinite chaos, was suddenly interrupted by the annoying voice of its main consciousness and shouted angrily.
"Busy? Doing what? Using worlds like chessboards or giving stupid systems to random losers?! Don't think I don't know what you've been doing." Kaylon, seeing that this little consciousness dared to be rebellious, immediately brought its dirty laundry to light.
[This...] The consciousness, not expecting Kaylon to know about all its dark history, was instantly deeply embarrassed.
[Hey, you know, I have to find ways to kill boredom...] The guilty consciousness could only try to appear helpless and pitiful.
"Forget it. I don't care at all what you do, as long as you don't mess with my fun. Just open the damn portal!"
Kaylon had no interest in such trivial matters. As long as the consciousness didn't affect interesting worlds, he could simply pretend to be blind.
[Understood, boss!] Without protest, the consciousness quickly opened the portal.
Soon, the familiar golden portal opened in front of the Rozzo family.
"Alright, we're off! I've set the coordinates to a remote village, so we can move forward from there!"
With Kaylon's words, the rest of the family didn't hesitate and quickly walked toward the portal.
"HAHA, THE ROZZO FAMILY WILL CONQUER A NEW WORLD!" The excited Elinalise couldn't help but shout as she crossed the portal.
"Be careful!"
"Rudeus, don't forget to take care of Eris. If anything happens to my family's daughter-in-law, you're dead!"
"Paul, if you dare come back with another woman, I'll cut it off!"
"Riveria-sama, please be careful of Kami-sama's claws!"
Amid the warm farewell from the whole family, the group departed for the new world.
