Chapter 57: Shredded and Deleted

Viewbay have been chaotic since early in the morning, everyone on their management and marketing department have their phones ringing non-stop to confirm whether Luna have really left the agency or are they really acquired by the Great Records.

As of this moment, none of them can still confirm what is real situation because Kevin Grant is still not reporting to the office and Timmy doesn't want to say anything not until their CEO said it himself, he wanted to give the final announcement and confirmation to Kevin for that will the last time.

The phones have finally stopped ringing.

"Have you read the news?!" it was one of their staff that handles their social media, everyone then looked at their phones and searched for the most trending topic.

It was Starlight Entertainment's press release. They have announced that Luna have signed with them and Constellation is now their official recording company.

Then the phones have started ringing once again. Everyone in that room knows that this day won't be passing that easily.

"I thought you already took care of that company 4 years ago? Then why the hell is it in the news right now?!" Sir Francis is currently have his head down in front of Great Records Chairman.

He was way younger than who him but Yulo Everson doesn't care a bit, he was inherited this father's position when he died 5 years ago. by then he have already foresighted that Constellation will eventually get in their way, that's why he made himself clear that they need to destroy it or merge it with them as soon as possible.

"Now, acquiring a company that have lost its top artist won't be an asset but rather will be a liability of the company!"

"We didn't know that Luna have already departed from the company, and we are currently looking for a loop hole to get null the decision of their departure from Viewbay"

"and what will you do with Constellation?" that is actually his main concern, if that recording company decides to sign their Producers it will be game over for them, with the technology evolving anyone could put up their own recording studio at a low cost.

Big companies like them are having trouble looking for new producers to work with them, most of them are contented releasing their demos and tracks online, and they can only sign them by giving in to their demands.

"We can't offer them to buy the company, I have already tried to buy them out even with tripling their current company's price, but the current CEO is the daughter of Salazar Howard"

He knows who exactly Salazar Howard is, he is the Tech Mogul of the century and his net worth is almost double of what his company has.

Money isn't going to be the deal breaker here, and Luna signing with Starlight Entertainment can be difficult to handle.

Starlight Entertainment's mother company is something he can't go against with, he can only count with a change of heart from someone within Luna or Constellation

"I'll handle this matter myself" then he called his secretary to make an appointment with Mia Lee, the person that he tried to destroy 4 years ago, "You can now go" then Sir Francis went out of his office.

"It's time we face each other again" then he continued working on the paper works in his desk.

"Sir, it's pretty much bothersome here in the company, we need you here"

Kevin have finally answered his phone, last night he drinks until he fell asleep, a lot have been going on in his mind but he can seem to find any answers at all, so he turned to alcohol which is a really bad idea.

"I'll be there in an hour, did someone from Great Records have arrived?" he started picking up his trash and cleaned his apartment before he takes a shower.

"Not yet sir"

"Alright, wait me at my office, everything I asked is done and sealed right?"

He asked Timmy to settle every paper works that concerns Luna, yesterday before he left his office, he shred Luna's previous contract and indicated to their system that Luna's contract have been long over.

He is aware that he is the cause why all of these things have happened, if he just didn't give in to his greed and protected them like he should have, he might still have them not just in his company but also in his life.

Little by little he wanted to put every thing back to where they should be if it wasn't for his foolishness.

His phone have been quiet since the last call of Timmy, drinking alone last night made him realize that should start facing all of his problems not run away from them.

Kevin is ready to face his mistakes and correct them aside from one thing, he can't seem to face Lauren Culls, that vixen that made him steal something more important than Constellation.

Something that he can't even return to Mia without damaging a lot of people who just did their jobs.

Her Last Memories is bound to have it's premiere night in two weeks and Lauren isn't going to bulge most important of it all, He doesn't want to deal ever again with that conniving lady.

"I'll just admit my mistakes and be honest with Mia" that is the last thing that he could do. Just be completely honest. At his situation nothing could ever be worst than this, he can even risk his public image just to correct everything.

"Good Morning Mr. Grant" he was greeted by the people in the lobby of Viewbay, still everything seems operational and as usual. There are still no sign of people from Great Records.

Before coming up to his office, Timmy was waiting for him near the receptionist.

"Kevin, Great Records requested the paper works you asked me to modify yesterday, I have already given them the revised papers." he knew that they will try to do everything just to take Luna again back to Viewbay just so they could take control of Constellation, but the most important contract is Mia's

"What about Mia's contract?"

"Shredded and deleted" that give him relief, at the very least they won't have anything to bind them legally to Viewbay.

"Thank you for doing this Timmy"

"It's the least that I can do for the kids, I have watched them since and I know it's out of my bounds to say anything about what happened 4 years ago but I am happy that you have started to correct things and I am willing to do everything I can to help"

Then he went a head of Kevin going to his office.
